Chapter 2: Rabbit Huntress

(Red Forest - Mother's Dwelling)
In the midst of a forest a man is formed from nothing as a bright light enveloped the area temporarily, when the light subsided the man is revealed to be myself, of course.
When I felt solid ground beneath my feet I opened my eyes as the Sharingan flashed through my eyes and then vanished, I slowly moved my head from left to right looking at my surroundings and recognising them as The trees from the Mother's Dwelling Map so I must have been transported there.
"Now the only question is which killer is it?" I Thought out loud as I started my trek through the forest whilst keeping my eyes and ears focused on any movement and noise within my near surroundings. I know I can scan the whole forest with my passive Sage Mode sensing that I got from Naruto, however that would be too easy and no fun, I'd rather it be a surprise of who I'm 'Hunting' as well as who my fellow Survivor's are.
After a few minutes of walking I heard a shriek of pain fill the forest as I turned my head in the direction of where it originated from and quickly leapt into the trees and hastely tree hopped my way to the source.
Minutes later I had finally made my way to the source of the scream and stopped when I saw two figures in the distance, one of them was a tall, well muscled woman, with a rabbit mask on the top portions of her face covering her upper face, wearing overalls and a white sweater with its sleeves rolled up, she carried around an axe and had hatchets clinging from her hips, She was also bare foot while she turned her head in my general direction but looked away a moment later after not seeing me as obviously she didn't look in the upper parts of the trees just the lower parts and glanced around the area. She also wore a constant frown on her face. I immediately knew her as Anna aka The Huntress.
I then turned my head to the other figure who was hiding behind a tree a few metres away from The Huntress. It was a young man wearing a white shirt, he was also wearing black trousers along with white sneakers he had black glasses framing his face, as well as a black wristwatch. I recognised him to be Dwight Fairfield or otherwise known as The Nervous Leader.
The Huntress continued her search for Dwight whilst he just crouched behind that tree awkwardly trying to fit in with the shape of it. Just when it seemed as though The Huntress was about to leave the area to resume her hunt in another area of the forest, a deer popped out of the bushes in front of Dwight making him freeze up and start to sweat as Anna slowly turned towards their direction and slightly hunched her legs as if she were a tiger ready to pouce at any moment.
She jumped towards the deer that was too slow to react and had its head chopped cleanly off with blood splattering on Anna, she withdrew her axe from its chopping position and wiped it clean with her sweater. Unfortunately having seen her Hunting Prowess Dwight had broken the first of many rules of survival - Don't make any noise, with him screaming like a newborn chick and running from his hiding spot and into the forest.
This level of Stupidity actually
made me face-palm hard as he should've just stayed there and waited for her to skin the deer and leave with its meat. "Sigh" sighing I just followed after them through the treetops and when I caught up to them a few seconds later Dwight idiotically just ran through a clearing in a straight line and now that he was lined up, The Huntress grasped the handle of one of the 5 hatchets on her hips and clocked her arm back raising it and aiming at Dwight.
As soon as I saw this I withdrew a Kunai Knife from my pouch that the Goddess had kindly gifted me with and released the knife when The Huntress threw and released her hatchet. The Kunai soared through the air hitting the hatchet with enough force to make it rebound and hit a tree to the left of Dwight making him scream out again.
The Huntress surprisingly stopped her chase of Dwight in favor of looking in my general direction however she failed to see me because of the Genjutsu I had erected upon myself to look like a normal tree, so she just looked right past me or rather through me. After that I heard the familiar sound of a generator being completed in the distance and so did Anna as she looked in that direction and back at my direction for a simple glance and then heading off to the recently completed generator to search for any survivors.
I pulled out a scroll from my pouch and grabbed a ink brush with some ink from my storage seal on my right forearm that had access to unlimited resources from the Naruto World so I could get anything out of them for example I could get any legendary weapon including the Sage of Six Paths weapons and tools.
Anyways I laid the scroll open on the ground and started to draw little crickets using Sai's art skills and with a bit of Naruto's Fuinjutsu calligraphy. After about 20 seconds I put the brush down and started weaving 5 handsigns.
Tiger - Cat - Dog - Boar - Snake.
"Ninja Art: Beast Scrolls - Cricket Convoy" I voiced out while smacking my hand on the scroll and channelling chakra into it and with a poof of smoke 15 crickets emerged from the smoke as it dissappeared. I looked at the Cartoon Crickets and said "Alright I want all of you to spread out and see if you can find 4 humans throughout this forest and find the location of a sturdy old cabin as well, however if you see a tall human woman singing a lullaby and wearing a rabbit mask then report back to me her whereabouts as well as her current trekking path, now move out".
With their task and objective given the crickets hopped into the trees and dispersed in different directions in a 360 degree radius. I however simply turned to the direction of the recently completed Generator and tree hopped my way there, fortunately as I made my way there I heard another generator go off on my left making me quickly slow my speed and readjust my footing to quickly turn left and leaped in that direction and slowly picking up my speed through the tree's.
---25 Seconds Later---
A few seconds into tree Hopping I finally saw the generator a few yards ahead with what looked like Jake Park walking away quickly yet carefully while being a bit jittery with his surroundings. He walked through the forest with a look of constipated alertness while maintaining a constant speed on his path, suddenly he heard the familiar sound of a Hatchet being thrown and ducked down as to avoid it. As for me well I already knew The Huntress was there the moment she showed up 7 seconds before observing Jake walk through the forest like she was about to go all Micheal Myers on his ass and just pop up out of nowhere just for the thrill of the hunt.
I observed on as she continued to stare at Jake who for the most part had reached the generator and began to reconnect the wiring on it and just momentarily disregarded his surroundings giving Anna time to wind her arm back and then releasing a hatchet only to miss a couple of inches due to Jake bending his neck backwards and dodging it like he was in the Matrix.
After that he started running deeper into the woods most likely to lose the chase as he dodged and hopped across any maneuverable object he could...
Anna meanwhile started humming her iconic lullaby as she followed along in a brisk pace, her feet stomping and trudging away at the ground.
While Jake was running he turned his head 110 degrees to the right to see if she was catching up to him, unfortunately that meant he wasn't watching where he was going so it was too late to sidestep Claudette who screamed as if the devil had bumped into her only to say sorry and rip her head off.
Fortunately, Anna had given up on the chase momentarily in order to restock her hatchet supply meaning she had to go to one of the many lockers around the forest.
I hopped onto a nearby tree branch and gazed at the two survivors as Claudette calmed down slightly upon seeing that it was just Jake who for the most part remained calm except for his shaking legs and the slight tremor in his hands.
I watched on as Jake signaled to Claudette about the direction of the generator who nodded and followed him back to it. I followed along while maintaining my Genjutsu until we reached the generator.
While they were cranking the switches and connecting the wires I was moulding my Chakra and trying to give shape and form to it in order to make a blade like Goku Black or maybe make some needles to stop my opponents pressure points and joints in order to incapacitate them.
I sat there for 3 minutes exactly before I heard Anna making her way back towards us and contemplated if I should go through the plan I thought of while moulding my Chakra, in the end I decided 'What the heck might as well go through with it instead of thinking about it forever'
After coming to a conclusion I got up and headed towards Anna's direction and after a minute or two I saw her lumbering around a tree and looking for tracks to most likely try to find Jake and Claudette even though she didn't know Claudette was with Jake.
I stopped and hopped down a few metres away from her while watching her body language for any sudden movements or micro-movements and respond quickly to her actions.
I released my Genjutsu and spoke out loud "Hello Huntress or should I call you Anna?"
Only to get a Hatchet thrown at me, which I lazily dodged with my feet still in the same spot.
'Okay definitely expected that' I thought dismissively.
"Hey now that's not a nice way to treat a guest in your home!" I spoke while admonishing her hospitality.
She however did not care and just threw another hatchet which I lazily dodged again and grabbed from midair and 'slowly' threw it back and made it get embedded into a tree behind her right shoulder causing her to flinch slightly and turn her head to the thrown weapon and back to me again.
She readies another hatchet however she doesn't throw it this time and simply observed my body as did I with her.
"Don't worry Anne I'm not here to hurt you or anything and I'm definitely not here to be hurt by you, I just want to talk..." I said convincingly while consequtively giving her a nickname/pet name.
She paused in her observation to tilt her head to the left slightly looking like she was a child lost in curiosity. She slowly lowered her hatchet and secured it on her belt.
"Hmm" she hummed towards me and then looked behind me as if saying she knew that the survivors were that way. Just when she was about to leave I started humming her lullaby making her stop on the spot and slowly turn towards me and tilting her head again.

After I finished humming the song I noticed that she was trembling slightly making me raise an eyebrow in curiosity and slight worry.
She then started walking towards me slowly and tried to look as imposing as possible but that was kinda hard when I'm a Ninja God and she's 6'5 whereas I'm 6'7.
She stopped in front of me and raised her right arm while bringing her hand to my face and slowly caressed it like I was a child seeking comfort. I allowed her to continue as I couldn't sense any immediate danger from her just a suppressed blanket of killing intent.
As this was happening I heard a switch sound coming from behind me notifying me that Jake and Claudette were finished and that all the generators were done. Anna removed her hand that was caressing my left cheek as begrudgingly made her way through the trees towards them, she turned around once to look at my retreating back as I walked away towards where I knew the gates were located, before turning back around and continuing towards Jake and Claudette.
"Well that was definitely more easier than I thought it would be" I whispered to myself. Also after about 10 minutes of sprint walking I found one of the gates which was not powered due to the lack of the red lights.
I held the switch panel and brought it down to start powering the gate and after about 15 to 20 seconds later the gate finally opened up and revealed a dark forest with what seemed to be a campfire and some logs surrounding it, 75 to 80 metres away from the exit gates.
I put up a Genjutsu a few seconds before I heard some one running towards the gates and stood by the brick wall waiting for whomever was running towards me.
18 seconds later Meg Thomas emerged from the trees and bushes and ran towards the gate. Just when she was 10 metres away from the gate a hatchet came flying towards her and would have hit her if I hadn't grabbed the handle and stopped it that was...
Meg didn't even turn around and just kept running to the gate and made it past them, safely making her way to the campfire without even turning to see what had stopped the hatchet.
I sealed the hatchet onto one of the Fuinjutsu marks on my left arm and then quickly spread my sensing all around the forest, trying to sense for the other 3 survivors, I found them retreating through the other gate and sighed in relief that they made it out. I sensed Anna watching me, or more like the gate, and then turning around and leaving most likely returning to her Mother's Dwelling.
I walked out of the gate and in the direction that Meg had gone thinking about my next move as well as how I'm going to get all 4 survivors back together because nothing is going to be accomplished without all 4 working together to survive instead of them just using each other for their own survival.
