Chapter 6: Evaluation.
LOCATION: Albus Military Academy, City Project Connection
DATE: 15.03.2046
Two boys were approaching a blonde young man, watching the two of them approach, the blonde furrowed, "Did something happen? I don't wanna deal with your troubles again, whatever it is just deal it with yourself."
"Otsuka made a new friend. He threatened us earlier along with his new friend. We thought of just informing you." the two of them said.
The blonde showed a hint of anger after hearing someone from the not so distant past. He was lost in analyzing something, "What could I even expect from that pig b*st*rd, he's not even funny now. Take me to him, let's meet him and his new friend"
The two 'henchmen' showed him the way to the reunion.

"Leave my hand! I said leave my hand! You psycho!"
Out of breath, looking pale with heavy sweating, Otsuka tried to stop his new friend from running so fast. If it was him from before, he wouldn't have had a problem running this distance easily. But he had become a little too much healthier than before.
"Man, you are really tired from this much running. You should probably daily run or work out your body.", Araz advised after leaving his friend's hand.
"Don't bother me, I don't need your advice.", Otsuka furrowed.
"It's for your health, you'll be happier if you are healthier, my big brother always nagged me about it.", Araz insisted.
"Let's attend our theory classes first, we have our pre-awakening test today too. I'm curious about you, are you a 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑥-", he suddenly stopped.
"Nevermind, I'm just really curious what type of ability you'll awaken!", changing his tone Araz depicted his excitement.
The two of them then proceeded to attend their classes, together.
After about three hours of classes, the children were assembled for an announcement.
The same stage hovered again, rising above like 'picking a part of a puzzle'.
A black-haired professor announced, "Attention students of Albus Military Academy! Your pre-awakening evaluation test will be conducted today so I hope that every student is ready physically and mentally as instructed before! The respective professors will take you to the evaluation facility, I request you all to follow the procedures! You are dismissed!"
All the students lined up and proceeded with their respective professors.
Araz waved his hand towards Otsuka, he was confusingly, with some other professor even though he was in the same class as Otsuka. "Let's meet after school!", he shouted among the crowd.
Otsuka and his classmates followed the professor to the evaluation facility, the facility was spread as widely faraway as an eye could see. It was a chamber filled with high-tech pieces of machinery and experimentation pods. The place looked like it was straight out from a science fiction movie, but a bit too realistic making all the students thrilled as well as uncomfortable.
"Please wait students! You all will be evaluated according to your number!"
Otsuka was 13th among the student, the students adjusted themselves according to numbers and started murmuring.
"Woah! That's a cryogenesis chamber! Are we gonna get evaluated inside it?"
"I don't think so, the cryogenesis chamber is just used to cultivate DNA cells in a body."
The students were curious about the machines and the evaluation.
The professor then started calling out two students at a time inside a room together.
"Amyson and Buvardo! Please proceed inside the room and use the equipment on the table to provide your blood samples."
The two of the students proceeded and then handed over their blood samples taken by the staff to the professor.
"Now please enter the DNA Evaluator pod and lie down! It's gonna take some minutes while the machine scans your DNA, so please be patient students."
Hearing the instructions, both of the students laid down. The pod then brightened and made some ringing sounds and finally announced the results. The results were shown on a huge screen displayed where the other students were seated.

[𝘋𝘪𝘯𝘨! 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘉𝘶𝘷𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺!]
"A Green level! He can apply for a first-rate military academy after his studies! I wish I at least get a Blue level ability"
"An Indigo level ability is nice although she has to work hard to get an admission."
The students started discussing the results.
The potential levels of the abilities were denoted by the traditional optical spectra.
Violet was the lowest and Red was the highest but there existed some even higher levels.
"The next pair, proceed to the room", the professor again called out the next pair.
After a long wait, the professor called out.
"Student Otsuka and student Lisha, please proceed to the room for your evaluation."
Otsuka panicked after hearing his pair's name, his heartbeat thumped like crazy.
He proceeded to the room alone and saw a face he never wanted to see again, but fate doesn't grant the wishes one wanted. He was nervously gasping for breath.
He took the equipment in his hand and pinched his thumb to make the blood come out and the staff made a sample of the blood and sent it to the professor.
He made glimpses towards the other student. But it looked like the other student didn't care.
The pair then proceeded to the pod and went inside to lie down.
After some time, the familiar sound came and declared.
[𝘋𝘪𝘯𝘨! 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘓𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘙𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺!]
All of the students gasped, a Red level ability and an atomize ability at that! She would definitely be taken in by the top academies, she can even try for galactic academies if she had good connections!
"A red level ability, she's gonna be a popular 𝐘𝐎𝐆𝐈𝐍! I'm gonna be friends with her!"
"Woah! She's gonna get rewarded by the principal!"
Amongst the ruckus caused by the students after the result, another sound came from the screen.
[𝘋𝘪𝘯𝘨! 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘖𝘵𝘴𝘶𝘬𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘮𝘶𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺!]
"Seems like she took all the luck, the other guy didn't even get a level for his ability."
"Yeah, sucks to be him. He should join an Internal Affairs Academy."
The professor after seeing the unbelievable results went to the two of them and said, "Great Heavens! Congrats Student Lisha, a red level ability! It's been more than a centennial since Albus Academy had a student with the potential of a red level ability!"
"All the students please return to your respective classes, the assistant teacher will guide and I request Student Lisha to follow me to the Principal's Office."
After giving out the instructions, the professor left the facility with Lisha and the students still in amazement of the evaluation returned to their classes and continued the remaining day.
The news of a student getting an evaluation of a red level ability spread like a forest fire among the academy, everyone was astonished that a future-powerful figure would graduate from their own academy.

Inside Class 001/1/4A,
All the students were discussing the new student having the potential of a red level ability.
"Damn bro, it's still hard to believe that a red level ability user would graduate along with us. The principal and the academy will provide her with any resource they can!"
"Yeah, also I heard that she's a brixie. She won't have to buy a bloodline like us to awaken, she's really lucky."
"Ehh! Keep quiet! Someone might hear you."
"Everyone heard you, stupid."
"How was your evaluation, Otsuka?" Araz asked.
"I awakened a partial mutate ability.", he replied
"Oh, that's really rare. Partial mutate abilities are one in a thousand. What's your ability level then?"
"Uh I-It's.. I didn't get an ability level."
"Huh? What? How is that possible? One would at least get a violet level ability. Maybe the evaluation pod evaluated you incorrectly. Mistakes like that often occur."
"No, everything was working correctly. I just didn't have any level for my potential, it's not the first time the academy has seen deadbeats like me."
Araz was confused as to how can one not get at least a violet on their test, and was contemplating whether the evaluation pod made a mistake.
"Don't worry Suka, you can join the best Internal Affairs Academy if you study enough.", he tried to loosen the mood.
"Do me a favor, and please get the fuck away from me.", Otsuka didn't wanted anything from Araz.
"Hey, come on dont be so rude. I'm trying to be friends."
"And I DON'T! WHY WOULDN'T YOU UNDERSTAND?!", Otsuka started raising his voice.
"Chill bro, okay I understand. I'll go, but sometimes not all people are the same you know. Don't be prejudiced because of your past.", saying this Araz left the vicinity.

Inside Principal Lgorf's Office,
The professor and Lisha arrived at the office and were waiting for the principal.
"It's been almost a hundred years, i was barely a black-haired professor when the fifth red-level ability student was elected as the head of the student council. Time passes so quickly, my hair have turned all white and I have yet again got another prospect for my academy!", the oldman who suddenly appeared started laughing after talking about Lisha.
This startled the professor and Lisha, Lisha was contemplating on how he appeared from thin air.
Bowing their heads, they said, "We greet the Principal!".
"Hohohoho, there's no need for that today. I'm happy, so professor tell me what kind of ability did our potential awaken?"
"It's a mutate ability sir."
"A mutate.. hmm.. now that's rare. Out of the five red-level students who have passed out, none had awakened a mutate ability. Do you get how rare and amazing it is, student Lisha?" Principal Lgorf replied.
