Chapter 31: jon!
Mark, James and Margaret played in the office until the warehouse closed time, the entire place was empty and the last workers were leaving at that point.
"Boss we're already closing the place!" One of the employees knocked on the door and called James who had a cart in his hand, "Ok, you can close it, I'll go out the back door!" With James' orders the clerk left and went over the orders.
Soon all the employees were leaving the place and turning off the lights, "Well I guess we should leave!" Margaret said as she picked up the toys and started putting them together.
Mark made a small noise of sadness that caused his father to laugh but they all gathered things up and put them in the boxes, soon they were out of the office and set down stairs, "Today I'm going to make us a pie!" Margaret said as she smiled.
"Yay!" Mark shouted in celebration and ran a little forward making the gesture of let's go soon, his parents let out laughs and followed behind slowly irritating the boy.
However, something none of them could see at that moment, above their heads a box was slowly slipping from a stand, Margaret who was inattentive walking with a noise above her head.

"Uhn?" Looking up she saw a box falling quickly, she froze and her memories passed from her eyes quickly, she remembered her childhood, her parents, when she started school and met James, when he left and she cried and carried the it drinks in your belly, like memories of her crying worried about James and when William was born.
Everything passed before her eyes and she slowly closed them, however today was not the end of her life, "Mommy!" Mark yelled and his hands glowed blue and he threw a ray of ice at the box.

The box froze in midair and there was enough time for James to pull Margaret away from the crash site, the frozen box fell and shattered into pieces on the floor, James seeing that Margaret was well turned towards her son.
Paff!
"Mark!!!" He screamed when he saw Mark falling to the ground and breathing heavily, his hands were frozen and his skin was deathly pale, it looked like he was going to die at any moment, the two would run quickly and check Mark's condition.
Having never done any training or using his powers before Mark suffered an extreme reaction to using it and is now in a very bad state for a Lin Kuei.

William looked at the children on the floor bleeding and with some broken bones, they were all breathing heavily and holding their wooden swords tight even though they were unconscious.
"That's it for training today!" He put his Blood Covered sword on the shelf and left the room, in the room slowly the children got up and prepared to clean the place and treat their wounds.
They cleaned their swords and wood before heading to the next room and continuing their classes, William watched the children leave their class and were visibly happier and more excited as they headed to their next class.
"Damn brats!" William said mentally before starting to walk out of the orphanage, today he had something important to do, "Well let's see what it's like to use magic!"
William took a portal opening ring from his pocket and put it on his finger, "Ben Despina do your magic!" He contacted the lazy Goddess in his head, "Okay!"
With that memories of when the elder used the portal came to his mind and he copied the moves, a portal slowly opened in front of him connecting to another realm.
"And it didn't really work!" He smiled and put on a thief mask, today he was going to steal something very important and it couldn't be discovered that it was him, William slowly entered the portal and exited into a dark alley on the other side.
The city was golden and full of vitality and armor-clad warriors paced, William was now in Asgard.

Lord, in your presence, in this light of day, as I wake up and prepare for my day, I pray that you will give me strength today, to be strong as you taught me, in this world full of temptations.
Lord, you know there are fights I will go through today. I pray the Lord will be with me as I walk through them.
Carry me when I am too weak. If I fall into temptation, forgive me Father, keep me away from them, I need your strength to overcome these evils.
When I triumph against them, I praise You, Lord my God, for without You, I won't be where I am and I won't have the strength I have.
Bless my family and Cavalry brothers, with the strength you have given me, Lord.
You alone are worthy of all the praise and honor in the world. You are my strength and my protection!
In the name of your son Jesus Christ and in the certainty of the absolution of my sins, I pray for a day in your peace, Amen!
