Chapter 23: TRAINING
Ms. Sung decided to stay with Mr. Kang and train herself so she can meet her son. She was scared if she would kill her son just like he warned her. Being a a vampire was harder than she thought. To the point where she cannot control her thirst. She tried hard, with him where he took extreme decisions to teach her control. He locked her in a silver cage and placed a bowl of blood outside the cage where she can reach. She not knowing the effect of silver on a vampire, tried to take it only to be burned. Her honey skin which turned lily white started to fume as the metal touched her skin.
Her cries filled the abandoned forest and Mr.Kang could do nothing rather than watch her learn it the hard. She constantly ran to reach the blood even after knowing the consequences. It was hard and he had to suppress his pain watching her. The others used to sympathize her and tried to change Mr.Kang's mind. He was being stubborn and along with it, even he sacrificed his thirst. He controlled himself until Mrs.Sung could feed.
"If you are going to be like this, I will have to try harder ways." Mr.Kang warned her.
"I- I cant. I am trying my best." She cried behind the silver bars clutching on her knees curled up like a ball.
"Dont you want to meet your son? I cant protect him forever as he is being guarded by vampires." Mr.Kang looked at her pathetically.
"What? What if they hurt him?"
"So better get control of your thirst."
"You cant do that to him." Mrs.Sung cried.
It was after that day, she tried harder. She refused to have blood for days even though they started asking her to have it. She was torturing herself the extreme way. She wanted to be perfect, she wanted to control her thirst at all stages and never let her son k now that she was a blood sucking beast.
Mr.Kang somehow couldnt control one thing. His growing feelings for her. He watched her evolve to one of the best vampire and he knew one thing. She should be with him. He forgot about his wife and family, the whole empire that he had to rule. Mr.Kang didnt want to go back to his family. He wanted to stay with Mrs.Sung and take care of her son.
"You are ready to meet your son." He finally gave her approval.
"Are you sure? What if I hurt him?" She asked with head hung low.
"You need to believe in yourself. Thats what all vampires do." He comforted her.

Shea looked over to the glass door to see a familiar face. Mrs.Sung panicked at the sight. That was the last thing that she probably wanted to happen in this world. Shea pushed Mrs.Sung away and headed to the door.
"Shea, dont do this." Mrs.Sung cried holding on to the girl's hand.
"Grandma let me talk to him for once." Shea smiled at the woman and walked to the door.
Mrs.Sung smiled unknowingly hearing the word which she have been craving for since a long time. She had always envied Mrs.Kang for having a perfect family while she and her son had to live in the outskirts hiding from everyone and everything.
"Yes?" Shea asked opening the door.
"Mrs.Sung? I am here to meet her." Brian said bowing to Shea.
"I am here to talk to you for a little." Shea said bowing back.
"I am a little busy. I came by to pay the bill." He excused.
"What bill?"
"For the drinks which was delivered to the stadium today morning." He said pulling out his wallet.
"It was already paid." She answered but her mind was flooded with questions again.
"Oh...I will get going in that case." He said turning back to walk away.
"Didnt you hear when I said that I want to talk?" Shea asked making the man pause.
"Miss, I am being polite to since you are working for Mrs.Sung. Dont take it for granted." He warned her while his eyes were penetrating into her soul.
"I saw you. I saw you kill them." Shea snapped back.
"What? Me? Kill who?" Brian asked surprised.
"You dont have to lie to me. I saw you in forest." She said keeping her hands crossed over her chest.
"You must be mistaken. Why would I go to the forest at night?" Brian asked walking back to the girl.
"That is supposed to be my question. Why did you kill them?"
"Miss I dont know what is with you but I suggest that you stay away from me. It wasnt me so stop spreading rumours." Brian hissed bending down to her level.
"I am not that kind of a person. If you are going to keep on lying to me then I have to find it my way." Shea gritted her teeth as her vampire self was about to show up.
"I am going. If you are being like this then I bet we will meet again soon and thats when you will really know me." He smirked at her and walked away.
"Dont think I am scared of you. I will find the truth soon." Shea shouted as the man walked away not even turning back once.
Shea was angry beyond control. Brian lied straight on her face and he doesnt look like he is ready to spit out the truth any time soon. She is now sure that the man is to be kept under watch. There is high chances that Tan is under his custody. She wanted to know two things.
The dress she got from Mrs.Sung and the intoxicating scent of blood from the stadium. Was it that of Brian as he was the one who ordered the drinks. Was that boy who helped Shea out was referring to Brian as his hyung?
