Chapter 104: Wedding Night...(Part 1)
Megan Pov
I was so scared though I spoke courageously in front of my family, I was scared as hell... I have never been out of my house, the only time was Jack's engagement, this all was totally new for me.... as I waited for Daniel in the parking I got a call from Ray.. I told them my present address... both my friends came in 10mins, and we were speaking, and even called Olivia to tell her that I got married...
"Whatt....the..your telling, are serious or joking Megan, I can't believe....it"
I explained everything to her l, said I will call later.. and was speaking with Ray and Riley...when Daniel walked out of the elevator with his sister Mia... my friends congratulated Daniel and as they were leaving, I was feeling somewhat not very comfortable... I held them and asked come see me often... Daniel was worried about me and held me in his arms... but I wanted Riley and Ray to comfort me more than Daniel, as his sister was watching... she should think he is too good to me and create any new war...
Ray requested Daniel to leave me as I was in Riley's arms...sobbing like a toddler... I was ashamed of my own cowardly behaviour...at that point, I only wanted my DAD...which I was not able to tell openly in front of Daniel....
Daniel left with his sister...while Ray ran back to me and Riley....and comforted me...
"Ok Baby Girl... we understand, that you're scared and confused about what you have done...but now there is no turn back...you have to face the fact... So be brave Megan... take life as it comes, do you understand...."
"I want my Dad, Riley... I am so scared...."
Both my friends laughed, knocking my forehead and Riley said,
"Hai stupid....You have a husband now...don't act like a nursery kid ok... If you are so scared...why did you get married first"
"I was angry...." again I cried, they both hugged me and Ray spoke,
"You know Daniel for the past 4 years...so don't worry too much, he knows how to handle his family and keep you happy, so stop panicking and walk up to your new life like a boss Megan..."
I nodded to them and took a wet tissue from my car, wiped my face clean and applied a thin layer of powder and a nude colour lipstick, combed my hair into a high ponytail...and said bye to my besties and got to the elevator....Daniel's house was on the last floor... it was a basic apartment, with only three floors and an attic I think so...as I entered I heard Mrs Reid asking Daniel... how can I be so free with guys, and was this how I was bought up... my bodies whole blood rushed to head... I so angry, I could have questioned the woman in front of me but I controlled once I saw the worried face of Daniel looking at me...
I walked and stood next to Daniel and looked at him, while his Dad introduced his family to me....and Mrs Reid denied me calling them mom, dad... I was not at all bothered...I was not interested in calling anyone else mom and dad other than my parents...I didn't even call my Uncle and aunt, who are my Godparents, why them... I was not comfortable with so many people gawking at me...I didn't want them to see me rolling my eyes, I put my head down...when Daniel walked to me and asked if I wanted to go to his room....No our room, I nodded and walked with him.
This house was a 3bhk flat with a study, but was very small compared to our house or my Uncle's place... the house was over before it started and I was in front of Daniel's room... to my Suprise...Daniel suddenly carried me and took me to his room, it's traditional...as we were feasting our desire...there was a knock and Daniel asked me to open it.
I walked to the door, opened to Jovel standing with his fiance...as he walked asked where was Daniel.. I just responded to him, that he was in the washroom and was playing games on my mobile, I felt that someone was gawking at me when I turned to look at the craving sight of Jovel... it was unreasonable... I was not able to stand this guy... he was Pathetic, who will look at his brother's girl, with those lustrous eyes....
When Daniel came out of the washroom, Jovel, said that his dad as taken the attic room, and who will move there between them both, and Daniel agreed to move...we packed all his things and went up, as I was very impressed with the attic... it was a beautiful place to live...I wanted it to be our own...again no one should come to ask for our room.... I finalized the deal and was with Daniel when his mom walked in with Becka and Mia... they wanted me to learn the rules of the family....Ha...Ha.... But Daniel was very clear and cut them off and asked them to leave....
As they left Daniel got a call from his office...
"Meg, I have few hours of work in my office, I will back soon can you manage..."
"I will also go out shopping... I need things... this room as nothing...what do you say, Danny"
"Ok fine, I will drop you...in the Mall"
"No thank you, I will drive by myself
Mr Reid... go on... you're getting late"
He came near me, kissed my lips and ruffled my hair and said
"Be careful, and come back on time... Mrs Ried... I will be back soon, Be ready with my feast..."
as he said, he winked at me with a sly smile...I know what he was up to... I pushed him out and behind him, we reached the living room, when aunt Abel, asked..
"Danny, you both are going out..where to"
"Mom, I have urgent work at the office I will be back in a few hours..."
Daniel pulled me and tried to walk out, and here Aunt Abel goes again...
"Is she too coming with you to the office with you, but why"
"Mom, Megan needs to shop few things, so she's going shopping, and will be back soon"
"what, she's going out alone, without any men escorting..."
I was like "men escorting"....which era these people live in...I looked at Daniel with surprise, he chuckled and said,
" Mom, she's well aware of all the places in K city... and Megan does her own shopping always, so no need for you to worry...she can manage, and she as her own car..."
"Danny, do you make any sense...it was different before but now things are different... "
"Mom, nothing is different...and I want her to be the way she was...so let it be mom, we left I am getting late"
Before Aunt Abel came saw anything...Daniel pulled me out to the elevator... I drove out of my car from the parking, while Daniel blocked his bike in front of my car, and got down walked to me, I opened the window and asked,
"What now, you want to escort me...."
I chuckled, he knocked my head and gave me a card...
"It's my salary card...buy what you want, and that card stays with you from today"
"Danny...but what will you do for your needs..."
I was baffled by what he said...
Danny smiled and said, "I will take money from my wife...."
as he said, he turned and walked to his bike and drove it out... I smiled and put the card in my wallet and drove to Mall, I was parking, I got a call from my Uncle, he asked me..
"Megan where are you now, we thought of coming to give your things..."
"Uncle I am in the Mall, came to but few things... when are you people coming"
"I will inform Megan, you go shopping"
I walked into the Mall, and took the 5th floor directly...it was household things on that floor, as I walked in I was seeing for beds, curtains, a study table a couch and a few more things, as I was looking around I heard someone calling me, I turned to see, my uncle walked in with my Aunt, Mom, and Dad...
I walked to them and asked,
"What are you guys doing here... "
"Shopping..." My aunt said while hugging me...
My Mom came to me and asked...
"Are those people nice to you... are you comfortable..."
I just nodded my head, Dad walked to me and hugged me... that was the only thing I wanted the most. I hugged him burying my face in his chest... sobbed and said,
"I am sorry Dad, I was angry, confused and scared of losing Daniel...that's why I... I didn't want to hurt any of you... I am so sorry..."
My Mom walked and pulled me into a hug and said,
"It was also our mistake...so it's ok Megan, let's forget the past...we want you to be happy..."
"Mom, do you all forgive me then..."
"Megan, it was also our mistake to push you so much...so we are even...what are you shopping..."
My Dad asked as I said what was looking for... Mom and aunt took my hands and walked to the Bed counter...there were fabulous designs of beds, finally, I liked a bed...it was a Red and white remote controlled leather round bed with a mattress, with a matching side table and a couch, carpets, curtains and a study table and an office leather chair... I liked it very much a complete set I need for our attic...but the price was as high as rocket... it was nearly half a million dollars.... when I was ready to compromise... my Dad tapped, my shoulder and said,
"Buy what you like...don't worry about the cost...ok "
I smiled and nodded my head and the delivery address to and dad instructed the storekeeper to add two more sets of change, I told my uncle about the attic, the builder, he nodded and said,
"Do you like that place...or we can buy a proper property elsewhere...what do you say"
"Not for now uncle...his mother just had a heart attack...and recovering... let me not cause more trouble, when all is well, I will talk to Daniel and move out... for now I don't want anyone to come and ask for our room again"
"Ok...as you say, I will contact the builder"
My family left, after our shopping, dad told me he will come with my uncle with my things... I nodded and went to Brian store to see Ellie and Jack bro...
"What are you doing alone...where is your husband.."
Jack bro was teasing me, I smiled and said,
"He's gone to office, he had some urgent work, he will be back soon...give all these things, I have to hurry my delivery guys will be soon"
"What you want..." Ellie smiled and asked...
" scented candles...Jasmine flavour, red and white roses...and lanterns Red and white, make it fast...or I will bad mouth your store..." as I said I chuckled....
