Chapter 7: Chapter 7:Goblin settlement.
Alex entered the forest and started walking deeper into the forest and started looking around and saw a large number of goblin's footprints in the forest soil .He followed the footprints ,which led him deeper into the forest.He saw that the footprints were leading him to a cave.
The sun was up when he saw the cave and he saw ten goblins emerging from the cave.Alex reckoned that they were patrolling the surroundings of the cave to look for intruders .Alex also knew that there were more goblins in the cave.The goblins divided themselves into two groups.
He decided to first take care of the patrolling goblins.He quickly climbed a tree and decided to traverse the trees to reach the first set of goblins.He quickly reached the goblins.Alex silently descended to the ground and hid behind a tree.He then used 'Charge' and rushed at the goblins.Three goblins were paralysed,the rest two were only slightly affected.
Alex quickly beheaded the two goblins and drew his gun and shot two of the goblins who were paralysed.One of the goblins was free of paralysis and was beginning to run away but were prevented from doing so by Alex who unleashed his killing intent.The goblin suddenly felt down and started frothing in its mouth,its feeble mind couldn't bear the killing intent of Alex's which was a result of Deathstroke's exploits.
Alex stabbed the goblin in its heart and ended its suffering.He quickly grabbed the magic stones and stored them in his bracelet.The gunshots were not that loud to attract the other goblins ,so he began searching for the other goblin party.He found them a few moments later.He decided to shoot them and so he climbed up a tree .It was a little dark outside and he turned on heat vision of his eyepatch.He aimed at the closest goblin and shot him in the head.He also killed two other goblins the self same way.He felt that the goblins were dumber than the previous batch as the two goblins instead running away started covering their heads with small branches.Alex shot tham both through their hearts.He stored the magic stones in his bracelet.
He then started walking towards the cave where the goblins lived and observed the surroundings.He saw two guards standing at the entrance.He quickly dispatched the guards with his katana and entered the cave.He walked until he reached two paths.He decided to take the path to his right.He then walked into a place were ten goblin infants were lying around.He was hestitant to kill the babies but he knew he had to kill them.He quickly ended their lives but before killing the last one,it started wailing loudly.
He suddenly heard footsteps behind him and he turned to see twenty goblins were running towards him.He saw that they were all carrying short swords.He formed an idea to take them all out.
"I just killed the little goblin shits,come at me you dumb goblins." Alex taunted them which had the intended effect as the goblins screeched loudly and rushed forward to kill him.
"Thundershock"Alex yelled out the spell.Blue lightening erupted outwards frying all of the goblins who rushed at him.Alex thought all of the goblins were killed and so he dropped his guard but suddenly he was sent flying and he crashed against the cave wall.
It was then he saw a red skinned goblin.It had a height of two metres.It was slightly intelligent than the regular goblins as it had not shown itself when the rest of the goblins were coming towards him.It was carrying a huge club.He must have been hit by the club.His katana was lying farther away from him.
He coughed out some blood.His entire body felt like he was hit by a truck.His ribs were hurting a lot and his head was bleeding.The red goblin had a shitty grin on its face and it was slowly making its way towards him.Alex tried to move but he couldn't move as it was too painful.Suddenly Pichu materialised and shot out a thunder shock at the goblin.It only slightly damaged the goblin and didn't hinder its path.It then raised its club to strike Pichu.
"I can't let that piece of shit hurt Pichu.How can I protect people close to me if I let Pichu get hurt."Alex said while being angry at himself.He pulled out his gun and in his rage he accidentally imbued electricity into the gun.He aimed it at the goblin and pulled the trigger.The carvings of the gun turned blue and a bright blue bullet emerged from the gun and it hit the goblin.The head of the goblin exploded and the headless corpse fell down.Pichu who was standing his ground noticed that the enemy was dead and went to Alex.Pichu ran towards and leaped into Alex's arms.
"I am okay Pichu ."said Alex while patting Pichu. He decided to rest for a while so as to heal his injuries.After some time ,Alex felt that he could move again and so he stood up and took the magic stones .He took the magic stone of the red goblin and gave it to Pichu.Pichu ate it and Alex a little bit stronger .He picked up his katana and started exploring the caves.
He found some armor but it looked worn out and so he didn't take it.He searched and got about 10,000 valis.
It was dark outside and so he understood that he had spent a long time hunting goblins. He then left the cave and walked to the village.His injuries were fully healed when he reached the village.Alex noticed that Thor was standing at the village gate looking a little worried.When Thor noticed Alex ,he came upto Alex and questioned him
"Kid why are you so late and why do you look injured"
"Oh I was clearing out the goblin settlement and I got injured while fighting a goblin variant.But I am pretty much healed up now."said Alex to Thor.
"Well go to sleep kid because we are going to Orario tomorrow .And I will update your falna tomorrow as your are tired now." said Thor.
Alex agreed with Thor and went to his room in the inn.He hugged PIchu and went to sleep.

The next day Alex went to Thor to update his falna.Thor handed him his status sheet and said
"Kid your parameters improved a lot and some of your skills also improved and you got a new skill .You can never stop giving me surprises can you."
Alex grinned at Thor and said "Nope".Alex then read his status,

Alex understood that he may have got the new skill when he channeled electricity into the gun.
"I am too awesome aren't I "said Alex to Thor a little proudly.
"Awesome would be an understatement .Monster would be a more appropriate term."Thor said with the air of a scholar.
"Oh you consider little old me a monster.How am I a monster with this meager increase in status."said Alex jokingly with an innocent expression.
Before Thor could say anything Alex asked Thor if he could keep a secret.Thor agreed with the request .Alex then talked about his storage bracelet and asked Thor to tell others it is a skill so as to avoid others from stealing his bracelet.
"Don't worry kid ,I won't tell this to anyone,even if the person was Loki.And kid why were you wearing an eyepatch earlier."Thor asked Alex.
"I am wearing an eyepatch because ......"Alex started speaking and paused for effect.
"Because"Thor urged Alex to continue.
"Because it looks cool."concluded Alex.Thor almost fell of his chair he was currently sitting on,when he heard this.
Alex didn't feel like telling Thor everything.He wanted to keep some secrets.But Alex told Thor about the gun and said that it was a magical weapon given to him by a very dear friend (ROB) and he kind of disappeared after giving him the gun.Thor did not pursue the matter further as he felt even he would not trust a person he met for a few days with his secrets.
Thor said to Alex that they will now be leaving for Orario.Thor and Alex then walked over to the village gate to leave for Orario where they were stopped by the village headman, who gave Alex a small bag as a reward for subjugating the goblin settlement.While giving the bag the village headman said,
"We bought these beans from a merchant who was on his way to Orario.But we couldn't eat it as it was very bitter.We are very thankful for eradicating the goblins and for that we can only give this as a reward because we are very poor.Please forgive us if the reward didn't meet your expectations."
Alex said it was okay,because the beans he had gotten were cocoa beans.It was bitter if it was eaten plainly.But add some milk,sugar and voila you get hot chocolate or chocolate depending on the amount of ingredients.Well he will think about it later.He accepted the bag and he along with Thor left for Orario.
Alex was excited that he can finally go to Orario.He was eager to find out if the main plot had begun or not.
