Lordrine's POV
I groaned inwardly as i slammed my hand against the alarm... Urg it's Monday again, do you know why i hate Monday's? because it happens to be the worse day of the week whoever removed 29 and 30 from February can that person please remove Mondays from existence????... I picked up my phone from the bed stand and called Kristen, yeah Kristen happens to be my best friend and as much as i hate it she is as straight as a line I've tried severally to flirt with her but my charms just doesn't work on her, she picked the call and screamed like a child, urg this is what i hate about her "hey Lordrine stand up from that fucking bed shark" OMG not again... "Hey K am up already can you come pick me up? I didn't really wake up on the good side of the bed today... She just laughed and hanged up... Well that's just how she is, i better go get ready for school before she comes here...I ran into the bathroom and did the necessary things (brush my teeth, took my bath, comb my hair and put on my uniform)... I bolted out of the room only to find my Dad standing at the front door waiting for me...
"Hey Dad good morning"...
"Good morning Lordrine have you prayed?" heck i can't leave this house without this Mr bothering me about prayers...So i lied..
"Yes Dad i have"...
"Okay baby have a good first day of resumption"
... And as if on queue Kristen's horn erupted our conversation so i just pecked my Dad and ran out of the house not without hearing my Dad scream "Take care of yourself baby and make sure to buy breakfast i left my debit card in your bag".. Huh?.. When did he put his debit card in my bag?.. You see why i love this man? he always look out for me and with that i closed the door and got into Kristen's car...
