Big brother?
After my epic ass entry for my first full Phoenix transformation, im glad i didnt do it at my house. Even though i was only transformed for a minute i still almost burned down her private training grounds. Gotta work on that one later. So here i am sitting in Yasaka's office petting the ever adorable Kunuo as Yasaka gives me a more in detailed view on the tensions of the Yokai and Phenex family. Damn was this something going on in canon? Dammit if only the story didnt follow Issei and only cared about boobs then maybe i would've known more about this freaking world. I let her explain until she starts mentioning that they have a legit claim due to them being descendants of a Phoenix when i had a very evil yet interesting idea.
"Wait a second Yasaka-san, but that's not possible." i smirk inwardly as a look of shock runs across both Yasaka and Serafalls faces.
"What do you mean Hibari-kun?" asks Sera "The Phenex family are indeed descendants of Phoenixes, they even use flames and their blood is one of the main ingredients in Phenex Tears, which is the strongest recovery potion currently known to supernatural kind."
I look at her in the eyes and ask "One of the ingredients? That's proof enough right there. Phoenix blood doesnt mix with other things. If you intend to heal someone or something you simply will it and our blood will do so. Thats how i woke up Ingvile and Misla. My blood cant be diluted, or mixed with anything else."
Neither of them catch the fact i was only talking about myself but that didnt lessen the surprise in their eyes. "Furthermore Half-Phoenixes don't exist. If me and you were to have a child Sera, it would be fully Phoenix or Fully devil. My blood would burn away the impurities of the devil blood. I've told this to Tiamat as well."
Serafall has a look of contemplation while Yasaka has a look of fury and hope at the same time. It takes a couple of seconds before Yasaka asks "So are you saying theyre not Phoenix descendants?"
"No they definitely have Phoenix blood but not because a devil was born with it. The only way to acquire a Phoenix's powers and have it spread in your bloodline is to complete a very dark ritual knows as the Cries of the Dark Phoenix."
"Kyouya i know this might seem inappropriate to ask of you but can you tell me more of this ritual" inquires Serafall.
"Hmmm thats a bit much you think? Telling you guys how to kill me and take my power?"
"I understand its a lot but if they really did some kind of ritual to take a Phoenix's power that would not only mean they're powers are stolen but it could spark a war with the devils and the entirety of Yokai kind for killing who could've been the last Phoenix if you hadn't showed up." I can understand her logic but i don't want to give out any details that will be harmful later on.
"I'll tell you but first can i phone a friend? Id want to hear what she's discovered about the so called Phenex clan and if her story lines up how i think it will then ill gladly collaborate to get revenge. Sera i dont know how to reach her can you call Tiamat? Yasaka is it okay if she comes here?"
After getting a nod of confirmation and one supernatural phone call later a bright blue teleportation circle lights up the room. Tia walks out with an older looking man with her.
"Hello Tia, and whos our guest" i inquire. She returns my greeting before the older man speaks up.
"So its true, one survived?" The man looks shocked but then tears starts coming out of his eyes before he pulls a bright blue feather. "This feather belonged to the last owner of the Familiar forest before Tiamat moved in. His name was Azulon and he was a Phoenix."
"My name is Zatouji and im the keeper of the Familiar forest like my father and grandfather befor him. My grandfather told me that before he disappeared a young devil came to make a contract with him but he refused him. He would come time and time again and they fought over and over before one day he finally beat him by holding one of his eggs hostage and he contracted with him. Soon after he died in the devil civil war and his mate passed soom after due to unknown reasons. One of their eggs were lost and the other hidde away by the Hibari family. Which is where you come in youngin."
I was shocked. Who knew i had such an epic background story. But instead of being happy i had to put on a face of discomfort which didnt go unnoticed. Soon after Tia spoke.
"After our last conversation and conversating with Zatouji here i confronted the current Lord Phenex about his ancestry and needless to say he wasn't too pleased to give me any useful information. The only thing i understand was that his Mother used to go by the name Rithes before switching to Phenex in honor of the Phoenix who impregnated her. Then during her pregnancy her closest friends and family kept her in seclusion for her safety of carrying the first devil/phoenix hybrid."
I absorb the information formulating a plan when Sera interrupts me and says "I may be wrong but before the war the Rithes family was a family of Ritualists and scientists." Her face goes dark as she realizes the implications of what she just said.
"On the 3 New moon of the year, you must take a Phoenix, and while theyre still alive cut them open. You must then take the beating heart of said Phoenix and implant it in the recipient. Thats how you take the powers of a Phoenix, but then to keep it going in the bloodline you'd need to mix the Blood with actual Phoenix blood and then feed it to said child as a way to 'spark' the sleeping Phoenix dna." As soon as i finish speaking i look around a room to see an ashamed Sera with a shocked Zatouji and a raging Yasaka and Tiamat. Hehehe the gears are turning. Now to turn this to my advantage.
