Chapter 5: Prayer to Prinla
They started the race already, at first Lav led the race, and even though Huna did not like the idea, she cheered for him. One time while she was cheering for him, Kartra intentionally move in a rough manner which almost made Huna fall off and then said to her "I'm in charge of your life. Cheer for me."
Then soon she was a little ahead of Lav, "that's right Lav, peace always prevail." She shouted, due to the speed at Lav, who was clueless.
They got to the border, but it did not seem secured. They kept moving in speed, they could see the entrance market of Kytirl, and this was the last move that mattered the most as Lav and Kartra were few metres away.
Booom!!!! The amorkas bounced back and all four of them fell of the amorkas. "So the border was secured after all" Lav thought. Kartra also had a similar thought, as Hin ran to help her stand up, because the amorka's leg was on her face. While, Huna struggled to stand alone.
"Kytirl the land of glass. No wonder." Kartra cooed as Huna ran towards Lav and said "Lav, what do you think happened?" But he ignored her and asked Kartra how she knew about Kytirl, but she just smiled and said "you also knew, should I ask you how?" Which vexed Huna.
Even if Cebronians motto was Money is Power, Lav actually studied a lot about the whole of planet Betroot, prolly few countries left.
There was no way they could pass through the border, while Kartra and Lav were discussing what next to do, two security officers came through. They were already alerted about the foreigners.
"Lav, someone's coming." Huna called out immediately she noticed the securities.
"Good day sirs!" All four of them chorused with a bow.
"Good day!" They answered as they opened the glass barricade, and moved towards them
"How may we help you?" One of them asked.
"We are Cebronians." Lav started, and Kartra had a complete shock on her face, but she was not the only one with that look, the securities also had that look.
She was the legendary leaf coloured female. Her disability had been known world wide.
"Including the leaf coloured lady." One of the securities asked Lav, who looked at Kartra, then back at the securities and nodded.
"A Cebronian covering for a Celician. It's like the two moons switched places." One of them thought.
Then Kartra gave both of them signs not to speak, it dawned to them that Lav had no idea she was from Celic.
"So what have you come to do in Kytirl?" One of the securities asked.
"We have been chosen to represent our continent Frinla, against the coming of Atani." Lav continued as Kartra showed sign of thanking them.
Then Lav noticed their attention on her and looked at her direction, she immediately stood firm.
"And we for sure need to pass through the great Kytirl to get to Shumdi sirs." She slowly said to them as she moved her hands as if she was talking to a deaf person.
"Ohhhk." The other security answered in the same manner she spoke.
"But, the anti Antani training only starts in seven sunrises from now. Why travel so early?" One of the securities asked.
"I love being punctual." Lav plainly said which surprised everyone of them except Huna who had all his records.
He always made it to school before everyone, like he was cursed by a witch to he punctual or something, and made sure he got home not too long after they closed.
"I'm just like his shadow, I came because of him." Huna answered with confidence and a smile on her face. Then after gave Kartra a stink eye, even if she did not see it.
"My sister, Huna." Hin answered, as everyone expected Kartra's reason.
"I ran away from home." She calmly said, as everyone looked at her with surprise.
"To fight for our continent?" The security asked, and they both bowed to her bravery, which made her feel embarrassed, and Huna jealous.
"Indeed a legend." One of them thought, they opened the glass barricade for them
"Smart and courageous nice." Lav remarked Kartra and walked towards the gate, while Huna followed him, not without giving Kartra the same stink eye as earlier, while Kartra just smiled.
She then looked back to see Hin getting the amorkas ready, "Shall I help you?" She asked him but he nodded negatively and smiled to her.
"Okay." She answered and left too.
"Okay move boys." Hin ordered the amorkas as they started moving slowly.
Soon they left the market environment, but noticed how extra jolly everyone was. Maybe it was the way of Kytirl, but when they got out of the market they realized it was a festival.
Everyone were dancing and beats were played by a moving band. Huna almost fell due to the distraction, then an old woman held her.
"What is wrong with you young lady?" She shouted due to the noise from the celebration, and Huna reacted in a cold way.
When Kartra noticed the countenance of the old lady, she thought it will be a good move to prove to the Cebronians she's with that they were like brothers and sisters.
"Don't mind her San, she's my sister, she acts weird around strangers." Kartra shouted to the old woman who shouted "Oh I see." back.
"She's not my sis...." Huna was about to oppose when Lav stopped her. She could not help but blush, he really held her.
"So what have you Celicians come to do in our country?" She asked in the same tone, and jolly mood.
"We....." Kartra was interrupted by Lav.
"We are Cebronians."
"...we can also be nice." He continued, the old woman was about to oppose when Kartra who was closer to her, held her hand and said "We are from Cebron, yes." giving her a sign not to speak since she knew the old woman was aware.
Soon the beat sound went completely off, due to the fact it was a moving band.
"What have you come to do in our country?" The old woman asked.
"This is our only way to Shumdi." Kartra said, while Huna stood still with Lav.
"Oh the Anti Antani training started so soon." The old woman answered and laughed.
"I could remember when I represented Frinla and Kytirl." She started and walked towards a temple. Since Kartra was holding her hand, she had to follow. While Lav, Huna, Hin and the amorkas walked behind them.
"I came here to pray to Prinla, and my prayers were answered." She continued with a pause, as an idea popped up in her head.
"Why don't you pray also? And it's the festival day also, your prayers are bound to be answered." She said as a smile formed on Kartra's face as it sounded like an awesome idea.
"So let's go." Kartra said as she dragged Lav's hand, while Huna removed it.
"Sure." Hin said as he tied the amorkas on a pillar and ran inside the temple.
And Lav removed Huna's hand and walked towards the temple, and as usual she followed him like his pet.
Hin and Kartra were already on their knees, while Kartra immediately rushed beside Hin and asked Lav to stay beside her, as expected he ignored her, and knelt down beside Kartra.
"Shall we?" He asked Kartra, who just smiled. And all Huna could do was frown.
"Prinla, all I want is Lav's love and attention." She prayed, stood up and left the temple. She walked to the hold woman who was just smiling.
Then when she looked up at the temple, she saw Lav and Kartra still praying.
What were they praying about? Hin had left already, it was just the both of them again, the though enough annoyed her, as if that was not enough, the old woman then said "Their love will solve a very big problem."
"Love? They're not a couple." Huna cooed and looked at the old woman "San, Lav and I would be the one together."
"And why did you say so lady?" The old woman asked.
"I prayed to Prinla about it." She answered and just then Hin joined their conversation and said "Your prayers cannot be answered.
