Synopsis
Alma keeps running besides having her breath ragged. Red liquid trailed behind her. A series of rapid footstep echoing in the way behind her. Alma knows she can't stop here, because if she stops now, she will be dead.

"Why did you do this to me?" Alma asked the individual in front of her.
She can't believe out of all the people, this person is the one who betrayed her.
The person in question doesn't answer her. With a shallow smile, a gun is pointed towards her head.
"Goodbye, Alma," he said.
"BANG!"

Alma Visa is aware that her family can't be considered normal. They make every child receive military training when they are ten years old. Alma's family always stressed over the fact that they need to fight the dark creatures they call 'Aeternum'.
Alma wants nothing more than to live comfortably with her parents and brother. But things went south when Alma's parents were murdered and her brother went missing. Left with no choice, Alma has to live with her uncle.
Without realizing that a dark storm is about to hit her.

The synopsis is already engaging enough and when I read the first chapter, I can't help but turn onto the next one. Author got into action real fast lol...it was only the first few chapters but I'm already hooked and sank. So many mystery and questions, they just drew me in. So, the pacing is awesome. While the writing isn't perfect with some errors and grammatical tense, it isn't a problem whatsoever. It doesn't bother me when I'm reading it. I imagine the scene perfectly fine and understood every word. Keep up the good work, Author! Fighting! Good luck for the both of us!
I love this. Frankly, I just saw the betrayal tag and read it. Also the synopsis is so INTRIGUING, it grabbed my attention instantly. A few chapters in and everything is exactly as the synopsis said, except the betrayal part which isn't here yet, so imma keep reading. The pacing is good, the descriptions and world building are pretty decent. But it could be better if the grammatical error and tenses could be corrected—they make me quite confused sometimes. My favourite part is the mystery this plot hints at, and I'm looking forward to the day it all gets unravelled (I have so many theories!!). All in all, an amazing book by the author, be sure give this a read!
Wow! Another enthralling, intriguing, and great story I've ever read. The storyline is perfectly planned, every chapter was written adequately. Such a great book from you Author. Added it to my library, good luck and I'll be waiting for more chapters.
The world-building was at its finest! Vocabulary was large when I observe! Dialogues sometimes doesn't end with period (if the end of convo) or commas (if an active convo). But ey! readers don't mind if your story is good! And I can say it is good! Kudos!
The plot is good but the writing could be better. I did enjoy it and some aspects made me laugh. But some things caught my eyes (that's not good). hopefully, the author will fix them and make this story even more wonderful.
The concept is great after reading the synposis and the tags. Alma is a gifted child, so us, readers, should better watch out for anything that would happen in the future, especially the death of her parents.

The book is great, the characters are also cool, but i think the discription and grammar is a bit off, and its also an interesting bood, i kinda like it :)
The book is great..ahaha maybe I'm getting ahead of myself given the fact I've only read two chaps, but that's my honest opinion. The grammar is not bad I think the author just needs to work on sentence structure and he/she will be golden.
This is a well-written book among the new books. It has an interesting plot, I love the characters and this is one of the books that make you want to binge read it at one go. keep going author.
