Chapter 317: Reunion

It was decided the demi-humans would sail across the Rhaziesian Empire and eastward down the coastline until they came across a human settlement to inquire about the Allied Army.

Much to their surprise, they came upon a human fort at Rhaziesian Empire's southern border.

When they anchored the ship in the newly constructed harbor, they were met by a bevy of soldiers.

"W-What'syour purpose?" asked a soldier rudely.

"I'm here to meet my master Marquis vont Ballard," Kallista called out.

"You expect me to believe a human took a disgusting-looking beastwoman as a disciple and not a sex slave?" another soldier laughed in disbelief.

While the other demi-humans were upset, Kallista, Holo, and Vaal never lost their cool.

"Ha-ha, what do you think shall happen when my master and martial little brother imperial Crown Prince Lukas hears you told me that?" she doubled over in laughter.

The soldiers, on the other hand, look stricken with fear.

And the other demi-humans went from looking angry to interested.

Just then a loud horn sounded and a company from the Southern Army marched down the pier. They made two ceremonial columns to welcome distinguished guests.

It was at that moment the soldiers on the pier knew they made a mistake.

Every human on the pier watched as the Allied Quartermaster Commander, Nisha, Sage Ming, and Archimedes walked down the pier.

"Master! Kallista said running down the ramp and hugging Will.

"It's good to see my precious disciple. I expected to see you earlier," Will said.

"It's good to see you alive," Vaal said warmly.

"My old friend, it's good to see you too," Will smiled shaking his hand.

"Will!" Holo said hugging him as well.

"If you don't stop, Lawrence might get jealous," Will joked.

"Master these humans insulted me and my crew," Kallista said angrily.

As soon as she finished speaking, Will killed the men with his sword.

"Good riddance," said Sage Ming.

"Welcome guests, I bid you welcome to Fort Wolf Fang," Will bowed.

"Ha-ha, Savage Wolf shall be happy you named the fort after our clan," Holo laughed.

"It's true!" said the leopard woman Kallista befriend.

"Great spirit elder, I greet you on behalf of the Leopard Clan we are yours to command," the woman said prostrating herself on the ground.

"Finally, someone with sense!" Nisha teased Will. "Mother Tiamat if you are able, please grant me the power to speak to this child."

"Granted. Will, Dracul, and Priestess Xing'er shall arrive soon. Xing'er shall be our representative," Mother Tiamat whispered.

"Thank you," Will and Nisha replied.

"This Spirit Elder is pleased to see you," Nisha said to the leopard woman who began crying tears of happiness.

"This is not the place to talk, please follow me," Will said courteously.

Will escorted the beastmen to his tent. He was surprised to see new beast tribes. He wondered where Kallista, Holo, and Vaal came across the new races. He also noticed a Dwarf not wearing the typical Dhan Kolduhr clothing.

Just before entering his tent, the Gorillaman stopped outside.

"Gorilla Clan does not listen to the human weakling. Let's battle to see who is the strongest!" the Gorillaman said beating his chest.

Will looked at Holo, Kallista, and Vaal for advice.

"Just fight him. Use all your strength and beat him to a pulp. The sooner you finish, the sooner we get started," Holo advised nonchalantly.

Will and the Gorillaman stepped out and were immediately surrounded by an excited crowd.

"Begin," said an old Dwarf.

Will strengthened his body with mana and charge at the Gorillaman. The two men met in the middle and Will began pummeling the beastmen, 30 seconds later the duel was over.

"I yield mighty warrior!" the beastman pleaded.

"I look forward to working together," Will said helping the man up.

"Be thankful he took pity on you," Holo told the Gorillaman.

"Pity?" the beastman asked curiously.

"My master is a magic swordsman," Kallista explained.

The stunned Gorillaman quickly understood how insignificant his opponent viewed him.

"Can we meet now?" Vaal asked annoyed.

In the meeting, Kallista explained their trip and meeting the races as Holo interjected commentary.

"To think, there was the Dwarven Kingdom, Elves, and beastmen tribes living in this empire. And you've already cleared the northern territory," Will said impressed.

"As you know our humans often discriminate against our races. We'd like you to represent us among your kind," Vaal said.

"The Bear Clan shall represent itself. We shall never trust a human," said a young Bearman.

"He killed his race for our honor. To disrespect such a man is unwise," said a Goatman.

"That does not change the fact, that he is still human," the Bearman snarled back.

"I'll gladly represent you. Follow me to the Command Tent. I'll introduce you to Crown Prince Lukas and the army commanders.

By now, the demi-human's arrival had spread, and so had Will's brutal punishment for mocking them.

Everyone was curious to catch a glimpse of an elf, dwarf, or beastmen. Yet, none saw a derogatory remark, for fear of Will's blade or Nisha's claw.

However, there were also many upset, by what they interpreted, as their arrival. Several soldiers booed when they saw them walking to the Command Tent.

Inside the tent, Crown Prince Lukas welcomingly greeted the new arrivals.

"Martial sister, how have you been?" Crown Prince Lukas said shaking his Kallista's hands.

"Congratulations, on your success martial brother," Kallista smiled back.

The majority of the humans in the tent were speechless at the sight of the crown prince's formalness with the Orca Princess.

"Master Vaal, it is good to see you too," the prince said bowing to Vaal.

Seeing the Crown Prince and Supreme Allied Commander bow to an elf made everyone numb with shock.

Only the Sages and a few personal guards knew of the prince's relationship with demi-humans.

Seeing this, the fraction that disparaged demi-humans gulped anxiously.

Had they known Sage Ming, Marquis vont Ballard l, and Crown Prince Lukas' relationship with demi-humans they would not have made such comments openly.

"I shall speak on behalf of the Dwarf, Elves, and Beastmen with the exception being the Bear Clan," Will announced to the ambassadors and noble commanders.

"Then let them explain why they did not come to our aid earlier," asked the Kingdom of Zhekid Ambassador angrily.

Before Will could speak, Crown Prince Lukas spoke first.

"The demi-humans have always been our allies. We decided before the war on a pincer attack.

The humans would attack from the south and the Demi-humans from the north. The plan was always to meet up in the Rhaziesian Empire," the prince explained.

"Why weren't we given notice!" shouted the angry Ambassador from the Dukedom of Kro.

"Why would you need to know? As Supreme Allied Commander, I decided who has access to secret military intelligence.

Besides myself, my master, the sages, the Allied Infantry and Intelligence Commander, and King Roland no one else needed to know," Prince Roland announced.

"You don't trust us? We're your allies!" said the Ambassador from the Theocracy of Ionic.

"You never know who is spying for the enemy or might be a demon in disguise. Everyone is given military intelligence fitting their army rank," the imperial prince said.

"…"

The ambassadors looked at each other in disbelief. Within the Allied Army, ambassadors were not given a rank, even an honorary rank.

King Roland's leaving was the catalyst that led to other sovereigns leaving.

With their territories cleared of demons, the sovereigns appointed ambassadors in their place.

Emperor Jacques-Louis was now the only sovereign remaining with the Allied Army.

While the ambassadors digested Prince Roland's remark, two dragons announced their arrival with a terrifying war.

Dracul and Priestess Xing'er flew down from the sky and shapeshifted outside the Command Tent.

Both the Allied Army and demi-humans were at first afraid and second surprised to see two dragons.

The dragons walked inside the tent, and the guards by the door were two afraid to stop them and ask their names.

The rest of the army looked catatonic from [Dragon Fear].

Thanks to Will and Nisha's [Immunity to Dragon Fear] they were the only people in the force not afraid of the two dragons.

Dracul walked into the command tent, wearing a black shirt and king's black coat. The attire against his already charcoal-black skin, made him look mysterious and dangerous.

On the other hand, Priestess Xing'er wore a pastel blue and white robe. She looked refined and celestial. Her beauty radiated, captivating every man's attention.

"Welcome Dracul, Priestess Xing," Will bowed. He quickly introduced the dragons to everyone.

"Will, Mother Tiamat gave me this medicine. Take this medicine and apply it to your wound. Limos was not just your enemies, but also your mother's and sister's," Priestess Xing'er said, whispering that last sentence.

"I shall," Will said.

He hadn't told anyone, but the wound never healed. It continued to bleed and pus up. Whatever blade, Limos used, he knew it was his kryptonite. He hoped that the demigod's sword was long melted by now.

"We are here the dragon race's representative for this meeting. I bear bad news. With humans' and Elves, Dwarves, and Beastmen's victories, the demons have started to build the portal that would allow Thanatos to crossover corporally into our world," Dracul informed everyone.

"How do we stop them!" Emperor Jacques-Louis asked curiously.

Based on our research, there should be a portal device in his Nightmare Realm. If we destroy the portal, we shatter his plans to conquer Terra!" Priestess Xing explained.

"Are you telling me, we have to send our army on a one-way trip to Tartarus where they have to destroy a portal receiver at a god's castle?" asked a flabbergasted ambassador.

"Yes. Unless you're planning on killing a god," replied Dracul.

"That's impossible!" shouted another ambassador.

"Two years ago, some thought mankind's victory over demons was impossible. Now look!" exclaimed the Allied Infantry Commander.

"How do you kill a god?" Prince Xiaozong questioned in wonder.

"It takes a god to kill a god!" Priestess Xing answered.

"Where do we find a god to defeat Thanatos?" Crown Prince Lukas asked curiously.

"Sometimes the gods walk amongst us mortals," the priestess said looking at Will.

"We can have this conversation after we clear the demons from our world!" Sage Ming adviser.

"We agree," said Sages Einstein and Abulafia.

Afterward, the humans, dragons, and demi-humans devised a three-prong strategy.

The humans would march northward, the demi-humans southward, and the dragons westward.

Working together the allied races would send the demons fleeing westward back through their portals.
