Chapter 23: Birthday Party-2

After explaining each and every moments that has happened between them to Nicole Ava couldn't suppress her happiness anymore.

"Wow Ava, you got so lucky. I'm so so happy for you." Nicole chirped excitedly.

"That's not the thing Nicole. Still I couldn't understand why did he kissed me? Is there something he felt for me?" Ava asked her hoping that her bestie can able to clear her confusion.

"I genuinely think that he had a thing for you Ava. Otherwise tell me why would he just cancel all his appointments, meetings and his other promotional events only to spend the evening with you! You know very well that it's his first action film so he must had to manage all press conference, media, and other promotional events, but he choose you Ava!" She tried to reasoned her. 'Indeed it's true' Ava thought. And with the thought that Ace has some feelings for her Ava's happiness increased twice as much.

"Do you really think that Ace is feeling something for me?" She asked her bestie getting so so so excited.

"Yes!!!"

Then Ava hugged her very tightly and she also hugged her back. After drifting apart she told her, "If it's indeed true Nicole you know, it would be my best birthday news of my whole life."

Nicole just happily nodded at her statement. But suddenly Ava remembers that Nicole is hiding something from her.

"Is there something that bothers you or happened with you Nick that I'm not aware of?" Ava asked her suddenly holding a very suspicious voice.

Nicole suddenly stiffened by hearing out her. She tried to maintain her casual posture and told her normally, "What! why something will happen with me Ava? I'm ok. Look!" she aimed at herself showing that indeed everything is ok with her. "Why are you asking me BTW?" She tried to act normal in front of Ava but Ava knew her better then her. Her eyes can tell everything.

"No...nothing. I just thought that something has happened. Nevermind!" Ava told her but deep down she knew something is really happened but she decided not to discuss with her about this matter now because it's her birthday. Once her birthday got over then she will ask her what has happened with her. Till then she will make sure that Nicole will enjoy each and every moment of today.

Then Nicole went to her closet and when she come back she brought a tiny box along with her. "Happiest Birthday my bestie once again. It's only for you." She wished Ava again and handed her the gift that she had specially made only for her.

When she opened it she saw a very beautiful diamond bracelet shining like a star in the box. It was very pretty and eye-catching. But the real thing is behind the place where the diamonds were placed there it is written the name of the two besties in a very beautiful writing. Ava loved this gift very much. "Thank you so much Nick. It's so pretty."She told her excitedly.

"It was just a mere birthday present but the real surprise is here my dearie." Nicole told her smiling widely at her best friend.

"What?..." Ava asked her in a pleading voice. "Don't keep any suspense Nick. You know very well how much I'm hating the suspense things." Nicole just started to laughed at her bestie's situation.Then suddenly she brought out an envelope which was hidden under her pillow.

"Take this." She told her. Ava couldn't quite understand what is there in that envelope? When she opened it her expression is just like her eyes are ready to come out of their sockets."Is it true Nicole?" She asked her still holding the shocked expression on her face. Nicole just nodded at her while smiling widely.

That was the confirmation letter of the Island that they just trying to brought for themselves. Yes, Both Nicole and Ava along with their another friend named Ashton Davis were trying to buy an Island only for them to allow and that Island was not any normal Island but it is just an amazing Island one can only ever dreamt of. But the owner of that was not agreeing with their offer no matter how much money they are ready to give him. The only thing that mattered him was memories and emotions. Yes, that Island is consisting of many memories and emotions of the owners late wife. The owner is about seventy years old man but he still loves his wife so much that he was not ready to sell that Island with anyone. But somehow Nicole convinced that man and at last he decided to sell that Island to this trios. But obviously this piece of news was unknown to Ava that's why she becomes very happy when she got to know about this Island.

"Wow Nick, I still can't believe that the owner just agreed to sell it. Now we can go to that Island and make many fun-filled memories of us."

"Yes, Ava you are right. I also can't wait to spend our weekends there!"

Then Ava's phone rang suddenly. "Nicole my brother is calling me. I'm sure he will tease me till the death. ughhhh... but it's fine as long as it's the matter of Ace." She told her in an annoying voice."Now I'm going Nick, but meet you in the evening in my party ok!" She said again in her normal voice.

"Yes, Ava. I will reach there timely with another surprise." She told her while mischievously winking at her.

"What! another surprise? Ohh god why all are busy in giving me surprises?"

"Because we all love you Ava." Nicole told her with holding warm expression on her face. By listening this Ava got emotional instantly.

"Awwww...I love you too my bestie. Don't worry your birthday is also coming." Ava told her still in an emotional voice. Then they both hugged for sometime and then Ava went to her home with her driver who was there all the time waiting for her after receiving the command from Ace.

In the evening Nicole just got ready for the party and exactly at that time someone called her. She picked up the phone, "Are you ready sweetheart?" Nicole just laughed by hearing out this name from his mouth.

"Stop calling me that Ash...and yeah, I'm ready. You can come now. I'm waiting for you ok!" She told Ashton and then cut the call.

She was wearing a glitter Mermaid Prom Dress Long Sequin Evening Dress and is looking like a real goddess who is just landed on the earth for the sake of the people's heart. Just one look at her and anyone will get bewitched by her beauty, she was looking that much gorgeous and prettier.

Then she went downstairs to see that no one is there and she just released a sad sigh. Indeed there is no one in her family who cares about her a bit she thought. Today's morning incident just gave her the surety about her thoughts.

She was so engrossed in her own thoughts that she failed to notice the person that was standing at the doorstep of her mansion.

"Looking gorgeous as always sweetheart." Ashton's voice just brought her from her own thinking world. When she saw him she becomes so so happy that she can't decide whether to laugh or cry out of happiness.

"Ashton!!!" She exclaimed happily and went towards him by walking so fast even in her high heels but she doesn't care about her legs. And fortunately she managed herself to reach near him so fast and hugged him very tightly and he also hugged her back. Both couldn't contained their happiness any more because they are seeing each others after a very long time. How couldn't be they so happy afterall?...
