Issei's clone finish its task of fulfilling the devils works. He was walking down the town enjoying the silent of the night. However, it was interrupted by the voice of woman dress in a maroon trenchcoat-like top with a wide collar, a matching miniskirt, and black heeled shoes.
She exuding killing intent towards Issei who calmly looked at her. The woman's name was kalawarna Issei felt pity that she died because of Kokabiel manipulation. He made a note to attack Kokabiel laboratory where raynare's brother was being held.
It was the sole reason why she's going rouge. Issei could remember she didn't have any intention of killing him but was force to. He remember fighting her brother believing Issei murdered Raynare almost killing him since Issei felt mental blow finding out the truth why Raynare did what she did at that.
'This time I'll save you.'
"Forgive me for doing but I have to kill you."
Kalawarna said lace with pity as she created a light spear to attack Issei. To her surprised Issei sidestep easily avoiding the attack. She shocked that her opponent could display such speed despite being newly reincarnated devil.
"I know the reason why your doing this and I can help you along with Yuuma."
"Wait how did you evade my attack!? I thought you were once a mere human?"
"I was but Irene taught a few things."
Kalawarna felt dread hearing the name being mention. Anyone from the supernatural knew about the name. It was only one of the two heavenly dragon, Red dragon Empress, Irene.
She couldn't move feeling Issei aura of dominances. Even mere clone it can display few of his real bodies ability. He could feel his main body was gradually regain his original strength.
Though he can't use anymore percentage at what he is given. Currently his clone strength was middle to high class devil.
"No need to be nervous. I know azazel task you here to observe me, am I right?"
"W-Who told you that!?"
"Irene gave me a round down of the supernatural and things to mind like faction leaders. I know that azazel wouldn't give orders to kill me. Now tell me is there any reason why you are force in killing me?"
"I-I…No I tell you even if you kill me I won't betray my best friend!"
Kalawarna tried to attack Issei dashing with incredible speed but past by Issei who took the opportunity to knock her out.
"It would be best to discuss this when no one is around."
Carrying Kalawarna Issei teleported in hotel. the main body was busy getting settle to home close to his home Ophis and Great red. He use magic to manipulate the neighborhoods making Ophis and Great red newly move people.
He decided to not bring them to his home for now and opted to create a home with conveniently having small plot of land close to his home. Great red use her power to create a new house with furniture.
It would take time until his home would be renovate like in the past. Until then they would stay close to his home once he able to buy one. Issei could easily gain money because of magic.
He made sure to place barrier and other magic spells while telling Great red and Ophis to hide their power. Thankfully, the two heiress in the area wasn't able to noticed the strange activity. Issei could guess Rias being busy reader manga while Sona would probably busy doing paper works.
"Now you two would stay here and act as my online friends that newly visited so I introduce you to my mom."
"Well I can't wait to see, kai-san again."
"Issei are you going to leave?"
"Nah I'll just let the clone handle it. Oh right, Great Red its better I call you something. How about Crimsyn?"
"Crimsyn? That's sound great, Aniki!"
"Anyway I don't we have dinner?"
While the main body interacted with two of the dragon god, his clone was waiting patiently for kalawarna to wake up and he didn't need to wait long as her eyes shot open.
"It's good your awake."
"Wait where am I!? What did you do while I'm asleep?"
"I may be a pervert but I'm not rap*st okay?"
"You won't get anything from me! I won't talk even if you molest me I ain't betraying my friend."
"…I don't know if you'll believe me but I'm willing to help you. I know Yuuma didn't want to kill me and hearing you apologize before attacking me meant you are being force to do this. Your leader, Azazel wouldn't give such a cruel task so tell me what's truly going on? Who's behind the order of killing me?"
Kalawarna flinch hearing spoke calmly a contradiction of his usual behavior. She could feel a present similar to her leader, Azazel. Thought reluctant, she felt his words didn't held any hidden agenda.
"I-I…."
"Do not worry I assure that everything would be okay. Yuuma wouldn't be harm or people around her."
"….My group was given a task by Azazel to observe you from a distance. however, we gotten news the task was change in eliminating you. Raynare or yuuma you called her took upon herself to bare the burden of killing you."
Issei clench his fist remembering her acting till the end tricking him into believing she was evil but in truth Raynare was an innocent woman like Asia. He wanted to kill dohnaseek who manipulated her and raynare about their real task and the one responsible of getting Asia killed in the past.
"Hmm tell me did azazel personally convey this change?"
"No, we receive it from dohnaseek."
"Shit. You three are being use by someone and I could already guess who."
"Wait are you saying that someone is tricking ask into believing Azazel-sama gave us that task!?"
"Yes, from what I can tell its kokabiel since according to Irene his the only one who has the mind to betray Azazel."
"That bastard!!! I'm going to kill him even if I die!!"
"Calm down, I'll help you do that but we need to planned things first. Now tell me anything else about your task here."
Kalawarna told him everything about their plans since she realized many plot holes in their task like why not bring Asia to Grigori to be train by Azazel. She knew her leader was interested in sacred gear therefore it would be better to bring the person than killing them. Still if Azazel truly gave them that task then she wouldn't hesitate to do it. She was loyal to Azazel to the very end.
Issei intently listen seeing nothing change much compare to other timeline. He wasn't worried of Kokabiel in using Raynare's brother to force her to be his dog. Kokabiel needed her brother alive.
"Thank you for telling me, miss fallen angel."
"My name is Kalawarna and no, I should be the one thanking you since you willing to help my best friend even after killing you and acting evil. She cried when you die by her hands."
"I see….she's blaming herself huh? Just make that old crow wait I'll personally kill him."
"Do we go and tell Raynare about the truth?"
"No, It would best for you to return but don't tell the truth until I arrive with the nun since according to you would come tomorrow. i want to personally talk to raynare. "
"I see, then I'll inform about kokabiel to azazel-sama."
"Exactly but give this to azazel after
you return to grigori."
Issei gave her letter with seal that only when Azazel touch it would it be opened. Kalawarna stared at the letter and nodded as she teleported back to where their hide out was pretending to have barely escape.
Kokabiel wouldn't be able to act after they return and would change his course of action. Issei would interfere and personally kill him but couldn't since his the reason why Xenovia and Irene arrive to his town. He would wait patiently and train then kill him.
He still needed to focus his attention in other things like his bloodline and extent of his power.
"Well time to return home."
