Chapter 35: Chpater 35 - Day one of training
After telling them a improvised truth, Issei had made sure for them to trust him as the things he will do and said will emotionally affect them but it will improve their capabilities.
The only reason why they are weaker than they should is due to their past holding them back. Issei perfectly understood the pain they held that's why he was hesitant to make them confront the truth.
"Now I know you all believe but the vision I saw are things that are sensitive to you in….emotional level. Though one thing is certain you must confront this before proceed in me training you."
They all felt heavy as if a bad premonition was to happened but resolve scattered in their faces being influence by the foreign emotion.
"First, Koneko-chan I know about your sister…."
His words struck Koneko making her recalled her sister but to her surprise, she couldn't hate Kuroka unlike before. She turn to Issei surprise about the unknown reason to her sudden change.
Issei wince in pain seeing her face become miserable. However, he knew it was now or never to confront their demons. Quite ironic. The ORC was worried for Koneko to be distraught about hearing her sister but they were confuse why she was calm.
"I want you to know that your sister love you and did not do it for power but to protect you. The reason why she left you is to not get you to involve. It is untrue that senjutsu cause harm to you when you are a nekoshou who are proficient in the art."
Issei explained which made them realize it was logically. If Kuroka truly become drunk in power then she would have killed Koneko in the process.
"There's more but I'll discuss this to your brother, Rias."
"My brother? Is it that important you would personally tell him that?"
"I can't tell you as it's too disturbing. Moving on, Kuroka protected you because of her master plan to do experience on you and once she learn of it killed him."
If Issei didn't tell him about having glimpses of the future then they would question how he gotten this information that's too accurate and logical. Furthermore, they all feel an emotion of trust in his word therefore no doubt came to mind.
"I-I…Onee-san did that for me….to protect me?"
"Yes, she all of that for you to be involve of continuously running. Kuroda wanted you to live freely but….I promise to clear her name."
Issei vowed looking straight to her that her heart become mellow. She began to cry that resulted in him hugging her tightly. It was painful for him even if it was for the greator good.
Everyone who knew they would have to face their tragic past resolve themselves seeing Koneko's eyes determined to find her sister and help her. She didn't want to run away anymore.
"We'll do it together, Issei-senpai."
Issei smiled while giving a head pat that cause her to suddenly took her Nekoshou form enjoying the action. Everyone was surprised but knew she was able to pass her tragic past.
After a while, Koneko stopped cuddling her as they still needed to train. Issei then turn to Kiba who blush a bit realizing he knew about being a girl.
"So you knew that I'm a girl, Issei?"
"Yes, I knew you were a girl the reason why your pretend to be one. I won't lie that your doing isn't wrong but…remember it isn't the only thing in your life. We are here and the one who had died at that night isn't blaming you. They would be sad seeing you like this."
Issei was being hypocrite since he is the same when it comes to wanting to eradicate the outer gods but unlike yuumi, he was now fighting the outer gods was to protect the one in front of him and not do it blindly. He seek vengeance but not the cause of forgetting his friends and live in front of him.
Kiba who saw his eye similar yet difference to her question what is gr he vision he had to cause such a thing.
Akeno who felt nervous since his gaze held sadness. Thankfully her curiosity did not get the best of him and let Issei proceed.
"It is alright to seek justice and vengeances but be blind to it would cause you greater pain. It isn't the only purpose you have in life. The weapon you wield is not the thing that cause you pain but the one responsible. One day you will have your justice and we all be there for you."
Yuumi held the handle of her blade tightly then calmed down. She gave one last looked in Issei eyes and saw a vision of her friends who died in the past smiling at her. This cause her to cry held her chest as she could clearly hear her them say 'it was alright' and 'don't blame yourself and be free.'
"I will try as what you said, Issei-san. I won't let my vengeance blind me to the true justice. Now I know they don't want me to be burden by them and let them rest easy."
Issei nodded seeing her new determined eyes having a new purpose in life. He then turn to Akeno who flinch seeing his tired gaze full of grief.
Among the woman, he couldn't save Akeno was the most brutal. She was in arms reach but couldn't make it in time to save her. It was the same as her father who was too late in arriving.
"Akeno-san….."
He softly said causing her calmed down and intently listen to his next words. She was nervous knowing he knew about her tragic past and unsure if she had the courage to face it.
"I know how difficult it is to lost someone you loved but….if you continue hate the remaining person who love you then you would one day regret it. Listen the vision I had….I lost many things but if you blame your father about her death then nothing would change."
His word struck her heart. She wanted to run away from hearing his words but realize her own body refused to do so.
"Remember he is also experience the lost of a loved one. You know this don't you? He isn't the one you should hate but rather the one who had killed her."
Issei killing flared causing the Himejima clan who was involve to the incident quiver in fear from the impending doom. Akeno who heard his words realize how wrong she was in her way to see it.
She recalled that her father tried helping her even reaching out but denied him believe he was at fault but the truth it was the one who killed her mother. Fighting her own father who only wanted to talk her would not give justice to the one responsible.
"I…I..Thank you, Issei…for helping me."
The first time she didn't talk in seductive way or added kun to his name. She felt the burden in her chest was lifted letting her breath easy. Now Akeno would talk to her father about who was the one responsible for everything.
Issei did the same and hugged her tightly letting her feel the warmth of his body that causes her heart to beat. It felt nostalgic like a countless year had past the way he hugged her. Few minutes had past and Issei still hadn't let go.
"Ara~ how long are you going to hug me Ise-kun."
"Hey I can't help it when Akeno-san too beautiful."
"Fufufu thank you Issei. Hey Rias do not mind sharing are you?"
She tighten her hugged causing Rias to give slight glare. Akeno wasn't affected by it only grew amusing smile. Issei warily smile being in between the two.
"Even if I don't mind doesn't give you the right to get all over him."
"Ara~ Buchous is such a spoiled child. Hey issei you don't mind me being in your harem right?"
"W-wait Akeno-san where are you touching me?"
"Hey let go of him, Akeno!"
"Issei-senpai is such a pervert."
"Please stop fighting. Don't hurt, Issei-san."
'….I wonder if I can be a girl for once?'

After everyone had been calmed down, Issei made circle making them confuse why he had made such a thing.
"Alright we should your first training. Those you manage to take ten step towards me as your first training."
