Chapter 16: 16. Slink

Jerry washed his face in a river not too far from the palace. For some reason, he longed for his old life. Everything is so young because of its advances in technology. In the kingdom, he seems confined to a palace rule that does not allow Internet transmitters in the kingdom. Even if the phone is allowed to use, what good is there when the Internet cannot even be connected.

"I miss my two best friends," I murmured.

"Really?"

Jerry turned his head at the sound. She smiled when she saw that the person she missed was now in the same place. "Scolding! Grace!"

Scolding and grace immediately ran over and gave Jerry a hug. "He said he would contact us. Why did you pick a place with no Internet like this? "Asked Elan.

Jerry chuckled as he shrugged. "I didn't know it at first either."

After meeting with elan and grace, Jerry was taken to a house that was rented by them. He was shocked to see their excellent home. It's a long way from the house he rented.

"You actually rented this house? "Jerry asked disbelief.

"Yeah, so what? "Said grace, leaving a bottle in front of Jerry.

Jerry showed me a photo on his phone. "This is a picture of where I lived before I lived in the palace."

"My goodness, are you stupid enough to pick a place to live? "Asked a tirade that at that moment flashed his head.

Jerry didn't respond to his friend. He was looking for another photo he took the other day. Finally, he found one of the photographs of the palace from his first modest hotel. Elan and grace gaping at a photograph of the palace taken by Jerry. His palace looked so clear up there. It's like being on the clouds and on the top of the sky. The glitter of gold on the tip would be enough to spoil the eye. The horathomi flag was also displayed there.

Nagging and grace incessantly gasp in awe. Just looking at the photos, they both get terpersona.

"Jerry, can you take us to the castle? You live there, right? "Asked Grace. Glaring dispassionately at him.

"Grace, you don't fool around. Not just anyone can enter the palace! "Exclaim.

Jerry spoke up. "You can't just barge into the palace, grace."

"Why, Jerry? I really want to go there."

"It's not as beautiful as you think it is, grace."

Afterward, Jerry tried hard to explain to grace that the palace was dangerous. Although, he couldn't explain the details. Just the little pieces he needed to explain so that grace wouldn't want to go to the palace anymore. Scolding helps her to explain to grace.

Finally, Grace let up with her frown. Nagging only derided him while Jerry stood and looked out the window. As it turns out, out there are Ichiro and Jirou running around. He had a bad feeling when the two royal messengers panicked.

Jerry automatically steps out. He ran after ichiro. Finally, he was able to pull Ichiro's shirt all the way back.

"What is it?" "Jerry asked frantically, breathlessly.

Jerry!" Ichiro showed his panic in his face and how to call Jerry. "There's revenge from the opponent you defeated yesterday. They are attacking the palace. Go back to the palace and lead the palace!"

"What? How could it be? Conventions during wartime-"

"That will never happen in this kingdom, Jerry! Prince Ken and princess Alice are in danger.

Hearing princess Alice's name, Jerry ran to the castle followed by ichiro. She ran vigorously through the palace gates. He saw many fallen soldiers, but his opponent was not there. What was even more astounding, Jerry saw prince Ken hugging princess Alice. Until prince Ken approached him, he hit him hard in the face. He's paralyzed.

Then, prince Ken took his sword out of his belt. Afterward, it extended toward Jerry's heavily receded neck. Jerry gripped the handle of his sword to be prepared for any occasion when prince Ken attacked him. And yes, Jerry managed to dodge when suddenly Prince Ken moved his sword quickly towards his body.

"Prince Ken! "What's wrong?" We can work this out! "Jerry cried with trembling hands holding the sword.

"Shut up, you! I'll kill you! "The wrath of prince Ken continues to deliver many attacks.

The cracking sound of that sword bothered princess Alice quite a bit. He shouted, "stop! Enough!"

No one responded to princess Alice. Until finally, he grew disgusted and rapidly approached the two of them who were fighting frantically. She kept coming closer, until she screamed because her arm was scratched by the sword that Jerry was swinging. He held his bloody upper arm.

Jerry dropped his sword at once and found princess Alice crouching in agony. "My lady, forgive me!"

Before Jerry could help, Prince Ken pushed him away. He immediately carried princess Alice into the palace. Jerry, on the other hand, just looked down. Regret for unintentionally harming the princess.

Ichiro walks up to him and helps him up. "Jerry, you're hurt. Go see the doctor around the palace. "Jerry just shook his head with a sad expression.

Outside the palace gates were quiet, grace and alen got a good look at the battle between jerry and prince Ken. They sneaked in and ran over to jerry cleaning up his blood-stained sword.

In a panicked tone, jerry spoke softly. "What are you doing here? You could get caught."

"There are no guards here. Please allow us to look around for a while, "grace said.

"You can't. Get the fuck out of here! "Jerry sternly.

In the midst of the debate, jirou and ichiro came with a look of surprise at the strangers in the palace. Maybe, this is the first time they've seen an intruder.

"Intruder? "Jirou asked freely. To her great surprise, she could not think clearly enough to utter her words.

Ichiro began to be both curious and restless. "Jerry, who are they? Why did you bring them here?"

Jerry explained that grace and alen had not come to the palace by choice. Ichiro and jirou recommended to their old friends to leave the palace immediately. All of a sudden, there was the sound of horses outside the palace gates. Jirou ran over to check on her.

"It looks like the enemy is bringing in another army," ichiro says.

Grace and alen looked at each other. Don't know what to do. They began to tremble when they awoke to bloody soldiers. Jerry gazed intently at the two of them. "Get out of here!"
