Chapter 8: Lose One's Way

Meanwhile, Likha, who made a scene throughout the girls' dormitories, is now sleeping on a tree branch. Earlier, because he could not find a way out of the rubber plantation and it was already late in the evening and the sky was dark, Likha took the initiative to cut the tree that he had encountered after traveling several times in the area.

Likha thought maybe if she climbed she could see the location of the dormitory, or if she couldn't find a way out. Tonight he couldn't help but spend the night in this vast garden and Likha also thought that maybe when he was up in the tree he would be safer.

Whether it's from wild beasts that might roam here or from bad people he might meet. When he made it to a Likha tree branch, he fell asleep because he was too tired and a little afraid to be alone in the rubber plantation. So she tried to close her eyes and in the end fell asleep so that just now Keenand and Ba'ih were calling out her name, Likha had been wandering about in a dream.

Meanwhile, at the dormitory, Iren, Alicia, Niken, and Dina couldn't close their eyes. They were very worried about Likha's fate. Moreover, Likha is a beautiful girl. The four Likha friends even thought nonsense. They are afraid that Likha will be injured or kidnapped or harassed by someone because this is indeed a big city where there are so many crimes around them.

"Iren, how is Likha? I'm very worried. I hope Likha is fine," Alicia, who was still awake, spoke to Iren. Meanwhile, Dina and Niken were asleep. They both couldn't help feeling sleepy because it was already two o'clock in the morning.

"Yes, Alicia, I hope Likha is fine. Besides, Likha doesn't have a cell phone. If she had a cell phone it wouldn't have been like this." Iren and Alicia then decided to go to sleep. Tomorrow they still have to go to school.

Likha woke up because she felt someone groping her leg. When his eyes opened, the surroundings were still very dark. But Likha could feel that it was already early morning because the air was quite cold. Moreover, Likha was sleeping in the open air and wearing only her white and gray uniform.

Even though her skirt was long, her dress was short-sleeved so Likha felt cold right now. His hand touched something that touched his leg and took it. Likha was very surprised to find that she had a tree worm. Likha immediately fell from the tree.

Likha forgot that the tree had a very ridiculous caterpillar, its shape almost resembled a sago caterpillar. Large, yellowish-white, and without hair.

"Hiii ... caterpillar, I'm amused! You have a caterpillar ... hii ..." Likha, who fell under the tree, immediately ran back and forth. Afraid that there would be a caterpillar sticking to his body again, because it was dark he didn't know the direction, and even nearly hit a tree several times.

"huuffttt, hah ... hah ..." Likha breathed so hard. He was not afraid of caterpillars but was amused. If asked to choose between a caterpillar and a snake, Likha would prefer not for both. Because Likha was amused by the two creatures. Currently, Likha is leaning against a high wall. The sunlight slowly began to writhe. Likha could see the surroundings even though it was still a bit dark.

"Oh, this is a wall ... yes this is a real wall. Have I reached my dorm?" Likha tried to find the end of this wall but it seemed there was no end. Likha thought for a moment then her eyes looked around. There are no rubber trees anymore, but big trees surround this wall.

Likha tried to climb back up after making sure the tree was not twisted. I don't know the above, but Likha is determined. He finally climbed the tree. Likha is really good at climbing trees because when she was in her village she often played house games in the trees.

"Finally, I arrived at the top. Now I can see the conditions here." Likha spoke alone. She looked at the building behind the wall, it looked like it was the inside of the dormitory, but Likha could tell that this was not her dormitory. He got closer to the dormitory through tree branches that dangled into the dormitory.

Because this tree is very large, Likha can freely move from branch to branch. At this time Likha arrived at the balcony of a room, she jumped towards the balcony and .. "braaakkk" Likha hit the window causing a loud noise. Lyca's head hit the window pane and now his consciousness began to lose his consciousness, his eyes became dark and now he is unconscious.

"Ouch, my head hurts ..." Likha held her head which was lumpy as big as a tennis ball. It still hurts a lot. Slowly he got up and sat back against the head of the bed.

"The bed ... wait, I'm on the bed ...? Whose bed is this? Have I reached the dormitory?" Likha was confused and spoke alone. When her eyes were completely open and looking around, Likha did not recognize this place at all.

As she remembered earlier, she jumped onto a balcony and hit the glass. Likha also thought that behind the high wall she had climbed was a dormitory. But if it's a dormitory, why are the rooms this luxurious? Likha tried to get out of bed and looked for someone to ask her where she was.

Likha heard the sound of water coming from the bathroom, so she waited in front of the bathroom. Likha still looked around and she was amazed by the interior of this room. When she heard the door in front of her open, Likha lifted her head and saw a handsome figure standing in front of her wearing a bathrobe and her hair was still wet, Likha gaped at the beauty in front of her.

"Are you awake? I changed my clothes for a while and you immediately confessed who you really are! Why could you hit my window." the handsome man spoke in an indifferent tone and without looking at Likha's face at all. Likha just nodded and then went into the bathroom.

"I'll borrow your bathroom for a moment, I can't stand it." Likha closed the bathroom door very loudly. A few minutes later she came out with her face still wet after washing her face.

"Sorry, where am I? Do you know where my dorm is? Asked Likha after seeing the man in front of her had finished changing clothes.

"You are in my room and I know where your dormitory is. After this, I will take you there. Don't you want to take a shower first? Your clothes are very dirty." the man spoke in a haughty tone.

"I want to take a shower, but if I wear these clothes again it's useless. My clothes are dirty, I'll just take a shower in my dorm! Thank you in advance for helping me and escorting me back to the dorm. By the way, introduce me to Likha, a student from Nusantara Plus school. I got lost yesterday until I arrived here, who are you? " Likha asked innocently.

"I'm Azzam, if you want to take a shower, you can wear my clothes. I have a shirt that is too small. You can wear it." Azzam returned to his closet and picked up a black shirt that did look small. Likha immediately took the shirt and headed for the bathroom. A moment later he came out and Azzam burst out laughing.

He saw the oversized Likha wearing his shirt. Even though it was the smallest size he had, when Likha wore it he still looked like a scarecrow. Likha was immediately escorted to her dormitory which was located not far from the dormitory where Azzam lived.

In fact, the Azzam dormitory and the Likha dormitory still stand in one foundation, it's just that Azzam's room is not a dormitory but a mosque specially provided for outstanding students from outside the city.

"Thank you, Azzam, see you soon." Likha waved her hand when she reached the gate of her dormitory. Meanwhile, Azzam was silent and turned his motorbike around to get to his campus. Likha also immediately entered and went to her room. He had to immediately change his clothes and go to school. He's almost late.
