Chapter 10: Causing Chaos.

I entered the jungle and arrived in a cave that was hidden by leafs. Getting inside the cave there was a big boulder. I had to move it using all of my strenght.

"Huff. No wonder. Huff. They were in 5. Huff. It takes a lot of. Huff. Strength to move this." After I regained my breath, I looked at what the boulder was hiding.

There was a secret compartment full of this world's currency. The berry. And a lot of jewels and pearls.

"Hmm. How much money there is?..." I wondered to myself.

(Precisely. 105,623 berries.) Nyarlathotep said.

"Wow. Like an instant calculator, nice." I said.

(Mitsu-kun is so rude, calling me a calculator.) She complained.

Ignoring her, I thought.

'Now, how am I going to transport all of this? I don't want only a little bit, after all, if only a little is taken, the leader of that gang will know. And he will probably take it away from here and place it in another location. I want to get all of it.'

(I can store it if you want.) She offered.

'How can I be sure that you wouldn't steal it from me?' I squinted.

(Onee-san is offended! My own little brother doubts me! I'm going to cry! *Sob*. *Sob*. *Sob*.)

'Stop sobbing and take the treasure.' I shaked my head.

Suddenly, a black hole appeared and swallowed all the treasure. I turned around and placed the big boulder back to where it was before returning.

Once I did, I said.

"What a surprise! He was telling the truth." I looked at the mob.

"You got the treasure, right? You can leave me alone, right?" The man was anxious.

I touched my chin and wondered for a few seconds before turning to vergo and smiling.

"Do it." I told him.

The mob's face contorted to anger. "Hey! This wasn't part of the deal! I gave you the treasure, leave me be!" He screamed.

Shrugging, I said. "I promised that I wouldn't kill you. However, I never said anything about Vergo." I smiled wickedly.

"M-monster! You freaking monst-!" While he screamed, Vergo stabbed him through his open mouth, killing him.

"Nice way to deal with him. Now it is time to go back. Also, take the lamp." I said.

Tilting his head, he asked. "Why?"

"We will need it later on and it will warm the cave a little." I walked in front while Vergo did as I said.

Five days later.

'I underestimated the gangs. By this point I thought they would be fighting already. Everytime a patrol would leave the village, me and Vergo would ambush them and get rid of their lives. As a counter-measure, they began to increase the number of guards. From 5 to 8 then from 8 to 10 guards.

Increasing our trouble since we had to increase the traps we made. Our guerrilla warfare was brutal and tiring. Each tine 3 patrols left, only 1 would return. And in each time, we would change the survivor.

In a day, we would choose a gang to kill, in the other, it would be a different gang. Besides these difficulties, we managed to amass quite a bit of fortune. Thanks to the "colaboration" of a member of the Black Dragon Gang, we found a treasure burried beside a tree.

Inside it, there was another 80,469 berries. I was so grateful to the mobster that I even promised to relive him from his pain. After he told me the treasure burial site, I relieved his pain by cutting his head off.

Now he doesn't feel pain anymore. Currently, I am at the top of the mountain of trash that we use to overlook the village. And there is tension around the village. No one was outside of their houses. And the gangs were beginning to amass their troops on their headquarters.

Each of them had around 50 men while there was no direct war multiple skirmishes happen quite regularly. The relation between the gangs was getting worse and worse and it is only a matter of time before war breaks out. At least this is the information we got from one of the mobsters. Poor fellow though I was gonna let him live in the end.

Some of them probably suspect that there was an exterior force messing with their patrols, but they simply don't give a fuck.

They are humans, they are extremely greedy. Spliting the town between the three was never enough.' I thought while looking at the village.

"It has started." Vergo said.

"It is time." I said.

The three gangs entered full blown warfare in the middle and outskirts of the village. We moved to the edge of the village and entered a small house. Once there, we began to pile many lamps together, when the bumber was good, both of us backed away and I broke one of the lamps by useing the Basic Fire Magic to increase the power of the flames.

When we got out of the house, the flames swallowed the entire house before spreading to the nearby homes. There was no way that someone would be able to get water and extinguish the fire. Besides, everyone was occupied fighting, so no one would bother with many flaming houses.

And since there is garbage everywhere, the flames were spreading nicely. Turning to Vergo, I nodded before placing a cloth in my face, covering my nose and mouth. Vergo, too, did the same thing.

After this, we began to kill the soldiers when the smoke began to thicken. This happened after the fire got out of control. Many mobsters were coughing, giving us the perfect opportunity to assassinate them and return to the smoke to hide ourselves.

I also had Water Magic if anything get too out if control. We continued like that, picking one by one from each gang. Until the fire spread throughout the village, after this, we began to go for the most important targets.

The leaders of the gangs. One of them was already dead, since he was killed by other leader in this "war". They are easier to distinguish since they are the only ones wearing decent clothing and they have a gun. Guns are quire rare in this garbage district.

Locating my target, I dashed at the direction of the leader of the Black Dragon Gang. How do I know that he is their leader? It is simple he wears a coat with a black dragon on his back. Both of us clashed our sword when the leader pulled his gun out and shot it.

Predicting the trajectory of the bullet, I dodged it before Vergo came from behind him and stabbed him in the leg.

"You kid!" The leader cursed.

Taking advantage that he on the ground with one knee, I stabbed his neck and my sword went through him skull. In his eyes, you could see that in the end he didn't believed that he died to kids.

Someone like him who ruled a gang of more than 70 people, now lied in the dirt, because of two kids. Suddenly, something inside my mind clicked.

"Vergo, get behind the corpse!" I ordered him after I felt danger.

Then I grabbed the dead man's upper body and placed it in front of us.

*Bang*. *Bang*. *Bang*. *Bang*.

"Who's the crazy bastard?" Vergo asked after he heard the gunshots.

"It should be one of the gang leaders, the one who survived." I told him.

When the guns shots ended, I turned to Vergo and said. "Now."

He got out of the cover and ran in the direction of the gang leader, grabbing the dead leader's pistol, I aimed it at the standing man and screamed. "Dodge, Vergo!"

Vergo sidestepped while I pulled the trigger. Since my aim was shit, I only managed to hit the gang leader's arm. However, it was good for a first try.

This brought him to a state of distress, Vergo took this change and thrusted his sword right on the gang leader's chest, using his own body weight to push him to the floor.

"Fucking kid!" The leader said before he tried to kill Vergo with his sword.

However, I ran and used Vergo's back as a jumping stone. Then I buried my sword deeply inside the leader's neck. This made him stop moving. Dead.

"Huff." Vergo sighed.

"It is way too early to rest. The hunt has just begun. Now that there is no head to lead the chicken, we still have 80 more people to hunt. Fufufufufufufufu." I laughed while getting up.

Then I offered my hand to Vergo, to which he grabbed and got up.

"Let get this hunt over, shall we?"
