Chapter 4: Chapter 2

Narrator's POV:

'Delusions, Mark it. Phantom of Secret, Write it. Nobody knows you, nobody cares about you, so leave it.'

A day after the incident the whole world was in an uproar. Not because of their death nor because it was a murder case but because of the sudden chaos created after their death.

"Hmm..did you check the pulse, Harrison Ford?" A man in an unusual dress, wearing a white robe asked Harrison Ford who was seated in front of him. Harrison was sitting in an armchair and he was the one who was laughing at the death of the two people. Not because he hates them but because he couldn't control his anger and sorrow he felt toward their death.

"Yes, do you think they will survive?" He replied mockingly and stared coldly at the man standing in front of him. He was Thomas Jefferson, a famous doctor, and friend of Raymond Jones.

"No, not about them, I am speaking about their daughter? You know what is the whole point?" He said looking at his eyes returning the same cold stare that he was getting from him.

" I know, you don't have to remind me." He said while retreating from the gaze. He didn't look at him for a while. He was in deep thought. After thinking for a while, he finally stood up. He was at the same height as him. He extended his left hand to shake with the man in front of him.

They firmly shook their hands while still coldly staring at each other. Though their clothes looked like it was washed for the 100th time, they gave off Nobel auras like two rulers fighting for their territories.

" Don't worry, my men told me they have already solved the problem neatly without any traces left. There won't be any suspicious left. The Un[1] wouldn't know about her." He smirked and said in a deep voice that it was like deep thunder.

They were in a room containing only one table and two armchairs that were set opposite to each other. It was quite a small room to be told. However, the decorations were exceptional. The room was not too fancy nor too ordinary. It looked quite satisfactory for them. But the atmosphere created by them didn't suit the room.

They were not friendly with each other. But because of the sudden chaos, they need to forget their enmity and give the chaos maker a fake smile so the Un could not annihilate the last remaining one of their friends. They were not afraid of the chaos maker but they were afraid of the sudden chaos that was still shaking the whole world. The world was not shocked by the death of the two Jones but by the mysterious disappearances of their one and only daughter, Epiphany Jones, who was once rumored to be the last resort to take someone down.

But unknown to the world, and unknown to the Un, she didn't die, she was still alive. The two of them were here just to discuss about her. They reserved a small mediocre room and wore a very unusual dress, simply worn by cheap people so as not to get suspicious about it. They had disguised themselves.

They were here to discuss who will look after the last remaining one of Jones. They both wanted to look after her as the only remaining one of their dear friends. Even though there was an enmity between them, they both were friends of the two dead Jones.

"We won't look after her until she turns 18yrs old," Thomas said to Harrison waiting for his response.

"What?? If you don't want her then just let me raise her. Why are you speaking nonsense?" He spat angrily as he glared at the man in front of him.

"Did I say I don't want to raise her? I just said that let someone raise her but not us." He said nonchalantly and passed a document to Harrison.

"What is this?" He angrily seized the document and opened it.

"Look at it yourself." He said and stared at his angry face.

"What?? Are you out of your mind?? We are leaving her with only one maid to look after?" He angrily slammed the table and threw the details of the maid.

"Yes, we are, we are leaving her at the hand of the maid. For her safe-"

"How the hell will she be safe? Wouldn't she be safer with-" He cut his word and spoke angrily. But he couldn't finish his word as Thomas glared at him coldly.

"As I was saying she will be left with only one maid raising her as nobody knows where she is or if she is alive or not, only we know about it." He said and looked at him but without letting him speak he again said, "If we raise her she would be in danger, there will be lots of suspicions. If one of us adopted her and raised her as our own then wouldn't they know that the child is of theirs?" He said and looked at him, knowing what's going on in his mind he again added," The maid is not a simple maid. You can see about her in the documents. We will send them abroad until the child turns 18yrs old. After she turns 18yrs we will bring her back. It will also be an experience for her" He said but now he didn't look at him. Harrison couldn't say anything as everything his ex-friend said was right. He sighed, " Alright, I'll agree with you this time." He said and picked up the document that he threw. He read the whole document and finally lifted his head, " Where is the maid? And when and where are we sending them? And does the maid know the truth?" He asked while keeping the documents on the table.

"We are sending her to Thailand at 8:00 Am, the day after tomorrow when she recovers." He said and remembering the last question he again added," The maid doesn't know the truth. But it seems she is suspicious about it."

"She won't betray us," he added.

Harrison nodded doubtfully, he got a sudden question," Why are we sending her to Thailand? And does she know Thai?" He asked the man in a white robe.

"Because it is the only place where nobody cares about her existence. And she does not know Thai, she will learn it in a few months after she goes there." He said simply not bothering the doubtful gaze he was getting from him.

"Do you think she will be in this state if she is not talented enough to learn a mere language in a few months?" He said and was ready to end the conversation, Harrison again asked," What will we say to her? The truth or..."

"No, we will only say that her both dad died so we are sending her abroad to make her mind out of that, nothing else more than that. One day she will know it by herself. That's it." He said and left the room leaving the man behind him in a confused state. "Hey, I will also come to send her off," he said loudly but Thomas didn't say anything, knowing that he wouldn't get the answer he left the room.

****

After one day,

Inside of the airplane,

Ephi, looked outside of the window as she calmly sat at the first-class seat of the airplane. She didn't look like she had lost her family but she looked like an emotionless girl which was quite abnormal for her age.

"Ephi, do you need anything?" A sweet voice said to her. She was her maid but disguised as an aunt.

"No." She said without looking at her, which made her uncomfortable.

(A gift disguised as a personality was given to Ephi on her birthday. Now let's see how her life will go on when she will meet her "?")

Un: Unknown.
