Chapter 15: Chapter :15
Sitting on my desk with a bit of calmness, it's been 3 months now since i have arrived to this castle, in the depth of the forest I've made a contract with the devil that was described as the strongest Villainous power in the original book.
Getting a lot of paper in front of me to write down what happened, and what is gonna happen as much as I can remember.
I still don't know who am I, or how was I able to summon the devil while I don't seem to have the Arriens blood running through my veins, but I assume that I could, because I'm an outsider soul maybe or, maybe I was naturally gifted with big powers as Asmodeus mentioned.
However, as far as I know the person who was supposed to wake the devil was 'Val' a character in the novel that had the Arriens blood in her, she was a child when the massacre happened in the family, and eventually a maid could take her and run away before the Emperor's soldiers get her.
They lived in the northern forest away from the Arriens territory, she grow up to be the male lead's friend, Noel, but unfortunately her maid had passed away when she was 7 years old, and Noel's parents took her in, but luckily, her maid before death put a strong spell on her so the purple colour of her eyes don't show up.
However, when she and Noel were taken into the army, at one of the missions near the Arriens Castle, she could regain her conscious and summon the devil by chance, and when the news of her rebelling on the system got to the leaders, they sent their soldiers incloding Noel to get rid of her,that's when she orderd Asmodus to free Noel from the magic, and thats how he got free and killed the Emperor in the middle of the war.
And now that I have the demon, I don't know how things will go for Val or the other characters, but I will make sure to make them safe at least.
the war still has a couple of years to start, I don't know exactly how many but I will consider 7 years at minimum, since they started to collect kids already.
And I've made my decision to be step ahead of the army, 'Noel' I need him for that, as in the original he was described as Grathesia's strongest puppet, I need to get him before the Emperor does.
Sigh,
The sight of the flames over the dead bodies of that day can't leave my brain, my mother getting killed to protect me, leaving me feeling shallow again.
Knock knock...
Looking at the door to see that sharp blue eyed young girl coming in, yes it's Kira,
With her short black hair with a white strand, and fangs, makes me get amazed every time my eyes land on her.
_" What are you thinking about this time Iris? "
Putting her arms around me with a smile,
_" World's demand or killing soldiers this time hmm? "
As long as we started to live together, we could really get along even without words, Kira knows very well that I'm planning on something big and she is as crazy as me at that, she treats me like a family already, and I don't know weather I should be relieved or worried, since I really won't be able to see someone gets hurt for me or in front of me again, lcan't only think that 'she is strong' every time I look into her ocean deep eyes.
Even though, she didn't really bring up what happened in her tripe alot but I get it that it's a conflict around the throne, as the two kingdoms, Grathesia and Qouthridor have been hurting the shapeshifters and elfes greatly, from kidnapping and taking over their territories, their relationship with the humans has been destroyed, and some of the leaders wanted to start fighting against humans, and of course, there was who agreed and who objected, and Kira as one of the successors of the shapeshifters tripe she was against the fighting now and wanted to focus on protecting the territory first, and that didn't please the authority so they had that fight I met her in, but they will soon know that the thinking of that 16 years old was the best for them.
Asmodues as a devil have been getting along with me very well, it's surprising I know, I didn't think that it can get along with humans like that but it's in my advantage right now, they changes their form to any creature, and its ben really chaotic between Asmodues and Kira,lets say they are on each other's throat.
_" have you finished your training, Kira? "
_" Yes, and I could win your demon easily "
_" Oh, I don't think the wound that I caused in your arm says so" Asmodeus said while coming into the room
_ "What! , that's only because you choosed to have this way bigger figure than me! And that doesn't mean I lost! " Kira said frustrated.
_"Oh, so if I beat you while having a small figure would it be fair? " the demon said while changing its form to be exactly like me.
_" pff hmm, you know Asmodeus you would be much better in a woman figure"
_"As you want my lady " and it changed the form to a young strong looking woman wearing a silk black dress, with red hair and crimson red eyes as mine, to be honest I got astonished for a moment, that's really a beauty came from hell.
_" that's better Mrs. devil, I think we should call you demise now" I said.
_"Oh, so I can charm you now, My lady? " she said playfully
_" Iris, don't be fooled by her looks she is playing like a devil " Kira said while holding me tight and baring her fangs to Asmodeus
_" well ironically enough I'm A Devil, Wild kitten"
_"call me kitten one more time and I wi_ _pfffhahah "i would love to watch another fight but, I like how the room looks right now, and i want it to keep being in one piece"
While both of them smiled at me, I felt a little bit better.
_"So, what evil mission are you planning for us little sword "

_" I think we are gonna kidnap someone from the Dean of the Emperor himself "
