Chapter 10: Aromatherapist.
Joseph took 10 Poké balls and an Ultra Ball and packed it.
Ash and the others were confused.
"Here, since you are my very first customer to buy from my shop you can have this for 1600 Poke dollars." Joseph passed the Items to Ash.
"Really?!" Ash's voice was so loud and reverberated the whole shop.
"Kid don't too loud, look, if you continued to shout like that, you will disturb my meditating Farfetch'd." Joseph pointed at his Farfetch'd on the corner.
"I'm sorry." Ash said then he scratched the back of his head. Ash paid the balls and thanked Joseph then he left.
After Ash left Joseph looked at Verity.
"How about you little girl? What would you like to buy?" Joseph smiled at Verity.
"Are you in need of an employee? I can clean, feed the pokemons and also good at accounting too." Verity said with a serious expression.
"Piiplup?!" Verity's Piplup was shocked on his trainer's actions.
"I don't need any employees at the moment maybe after expanding." Joseph said, he didn't want to mess the plot of this world. Verity's lapras is the reason why they escaped from the group of angry Primapes and also accompanied Ash on his journey to see Ho-oh in the Mount Tensei in Raizen Mountain peaks then the three separated after their journey.
"I see." Verity nodded then she pointed the beautifully packaged poké beans. "Are these poké beans?"
"Yes but these Poké beans are from the rare Giant Pokébeanstalk so they are 3 times bigger than the normal. Have you seen this pokemon food before?" Joseph rested his head on his hand.
"No but my mother told me about this the big heart shaped pokemon food with different colors from Alola, she also said that my father is always feeding his pokemon with poké beans." Verity continued to stare at the poké beans.
"This pack of 6 plain colored poké beans is 300 pokédollars, while this the rarer type of poké beans is 600, and the most expensive poke bean is this the rainbow colored this bean cost 1,000 per piece." Joseph explained.
"I would like to buy one pack of plain colored poké beans and a piece of the Rainbow poké bean." Verity smiled at Joseph then she asked again. "Big brother Jojo,is she your girlfriend?" Verity pointed at Tammy.
Tammy whose accompanying her brother suddenly coughed and looked at the girl whose pointing at her.
"No Ms. Tammy is the sister of the kid over there who wants to play with my pokémons they are also my neighbor and I only met them today. Little girl I already said that if you are interested in me, you should grow up first and maybe I can consider." Joseph continued to pack the Poké beans then he placed in in the counter. "1300 Pokédollars."
"Hmm, that's good to hear. I'll repeat myself I'm not interested in you old man." Verity happily took the poké beans then she placed her payment on the counter then she left.
"Hey Ms. Tammy do I really look like an old man?" Joseph turned his head towards Tammy, Tammy just shrugged her shoulder.
On the streets of Viridian City.
Verity was so happy today, she finally found the man she was dreaming to be with.
"Piplup! I Finally found him! This is the best day of my life!" Verity hurriedly went back to her checked hotel to tell the good news to her mother.
"Piplup." Piplup didn't know what's going on with his trainer, he just nodded and followed Verity.
Tammy and Ronny bid their farewell to Joseph and thanked him for letting them play with his cute pokemons.
Joseph's shop became quiet again, his pokemons just lazed on the floor after running around the indoor playground.
Joseph smiled while looking at the cute guys, mew in her Eevee form jumped on Joseph's shoulder.
"I love the quiet and peaceful atmosphere here, what about you mew?" Joseph was looking at the streets through the glass.
"Eevee." Mew nodded then she licked Joseph's cheek, Joseph lightly laughed.
"Alexa play something relaxing." Joseph said then 3ds Rotom suddenly woke up and opened its music player.
Alexa played Ludwig van Beethoven's 'Moonlight' Sonata the first movement.
Soft melody played then all of the little pokemons became sleepy.
"Hey, it's 9 in the morning but you guys are sleepy too much sleeping is a bad habit except you are a Slakoth, Slaking or Snorlax." Joseph warned the little guys then mew jumped down from Joseph's and tried to wake up the sleepy pokemons but it was futile.
"Alexa stop the music first, I would like to take a pokemon from the game." Joseph shook his head then he took a pokemon from his PC box in the game.
When the poké ball materialized Joseph picked it up and went to the playground then he threw the poke ball in the air.
The Poke ball opened then a red light flashed and a cute grass type pokemon appeared.
"Petilil!" Petilil scanned her surroundings then her gaze landed on Joseph.
"Girl please use Aromatherapy on these guys to wake up." Joseph said the the little bulb, Petilil nodded then she went near the sleepy pokemon and released a soothing scent of flowers and honey. Aromatherapy is a grass type move that heals all the status condition and also confused state of all pokemons that smelled the scent.
All of the small pokemons felt invigorated and refreshed.
"Little fellas, give thanks to Petilil for waking you up." Joseph said then he gave Petilil some snacks.
"Pikachu!"
"Bonsly."
"Vee."
"Happiny."
"Azurill."
"Quil Quilava."
The little pokemons except Farfetch'd, Mew and the two Magikarps in the indoor pool surrounded Petilil and thanked her.
Petilil was so happy that she helped the she helped the pokémons that surrounding her.
"Okay from now on Petilil will be staying with you guys to become the Aromatherapist of the group and also a playmate, be sure to treat her well." Joseph said to the little guys who just become energetic.
All of the little ones nodded then they talked with Petilil.
Joseph went back again to the counter and instructed Alexa to resume the relaxing music.
Joseph took the magazine he bought yesterday about the famous Trainer, breeders, groomers and coordinators all around the globe.
Honestly Joseph don't know some of them except the trainers. Noticed that the game's male main characters doesn't exist here like Red, Ethan, Brendan, Lucas, Hilbert, Nate, Calem, Elio and Victor.
Joseph theorized that it was because of the Ash effect, Ash became the embodiment of those characters but slightly retarded like in anime.
"This is better, if they actually exist here others might be thinking that I might be Elio's brother since my body is actually based on him but slightly altered." Joseph muttered then he continued to read and he saw Steven Stone's name as the potential next champion of Hoenn, Cynthia is the current strongest champion that all of the people thinks, Joseph turned to the next page and saw Leon of Galar region.
"So Leon is also the champion here hmm, If the world thinks that Cynthia is the strongest champion today does it means the World Coronation Series is not a thing right now?" Joseph muttered. "That competition is a huge money making business."
