Chapter 22: Chapter 21
Jane's yelling alerted Hazel and Day who were nearest Leo, they together, with Jane tried to attack the guys but, in vain, the men caught Hazel, Day and Jane too who was a 14 year old girl.
The car rode off, their groups didn't even realize what happened because of the commotion.
In the car, the 4 were quiet as 3 burly men sat in front of them while 2 drove at the front, Hazel would have attacked but the guys were armed with rifles which was pointed at their faces, Leo felt Jane tremble beside him, she was a small kid after all, he put a reassuring arm around her and they sped off into the unknown.
The car started going in a slower pace after half an hour, which made Hazel realize they were nearing their destination she finally asked the question that had been nagging her all the way.
'Where are we going and who the hell are you?'
The men just stared at her and didn't answer.
Hazel rolled her eyes at them and sat back in her seat
After a few minutes the jeep stopped and the men each took a child by the arm and led the four inside a base
Hazel scanned her surroundings and was quite puzzled to see that the base was well made, so it was obviously not the Harbs or Ash's people because his men wore dark clothes, while these thugs had pure white clothes. There were a lot of armed guards watching them as they were led inside. One of the men pressed his finger at pad by the door, the door clicked open.
'Hmm fingerprint' Hazel thought.
The men then pulled out blindfolds and blindfolded them, the children walked for at least 10 mins, Until, they lurched to a stop and the guys forced them into chairs and cuffed their hands to the chairs, The children didn't protest and sat obediently as they knew they had no choice, Hazel looked around the brightly lit room, everything was white, a machine which suspiciously looked like a lie detector to Hazel was in the corner. The guards left and a woman entered who looked 60 aged.
She sat down in front of her and smiled at her, 'Hazel, I hope my people didn't give you a hard time'
'Nah I just got bored, like, a lot' Hazel replied casually
The woman smiled 'My name is Tanda'
'Who named you?' Hazel asked.
'Sorry?'
'Who named you Tanda cause I don't think you know but Tanda means The seer of life and death in native American, and that's seriously spooky, I would prefer Dolores Umbridge, You look like her' Hazel mocked
The smile died from the lady's lips she coughed and said threatingly.
'You have some nerves Hazel, Here you are in the enemy's territory and you are mocking the leader'
Hazel's eyes widened as she saw the logo on her chest it was just a symbol but the pieces fell into the puzzle immediately
