Chapter 161: Lines of hand

"I had to discard her after I was done with her." 

His words were like an atom bomb. 

No! 

He was sure even atom bombs wouldn't have done as much destruction as they did.

You know that the whole world is made out of glass when it comes crashing down upon you, fragile but deadly glass that penetrates every inch of you. He felt like all the soldiers that were present in the battlefield had pierced their swords in his heart all at once. 

His eyes were getting blurry and he even blinked a few times as a result of that while he took a few steps back in his dazed state. Slowly he brought his quivering hands before himself and tried to look at the lines of his hands beneath all that blood that was smeared on his palms.

An old memory banged somewhere inside his head.

'Why are you doing that?' He asked her, annoyed as he drove the jeep through the desert.
