Chapter 4: I don't want to talk about it
"Ugh....." Diablo groaned as he sat up from his bed
"Hmm? What's wrong?" Hadrian
"'sigh' It's Eri, ever since our date she's been stalking me, and it's hard to avoid her, seeing how she works at the damn dungeon," Diablo
"Well, what did you two do on your date?" Hadrian
".....I don't want to talk about it....." Diablo said as he felt a chill run up his spine, seeing this, Hadrian only deadpanned as he looked at the 6'4 demon that clung to his pillow at the thought of his date that happened over a week ago
"Well, get dressed, were hitting the dungeon," Hadrian
"WHAT!!! B-but....she's gonna be there..." Diablo said as he clung to his pillow even harder
"Tough luck, we're close to getting to the 8th floor, now get your ass up!" Hadrian
"Fine!" Diablo shouted as he has reluctantly gotten off his bed and got dressed

On their way to the dungeon, Diablo and Hadrian both looked at their status's to compare them
"Hmm, it seems your going to try and lean into magic arent you?" Diablo
"Maybe, I don't know yet, I just put them in there in case I have to have a lot of mana for future skills, and it doesn't surprise me that you're going to be leaning into more physical fighting, later on, seeing how I remember you telling me some of the stories of your past life through Discord," Hadrian
"Hehehehe, you know it, I always thought about it, if I had a system, what would I put points into, and I always said agility and strength, I wanna be fast and strong as hell, hahaha," Diablo laughed as they both arrived and walked into the lobby of the Babel tower, as soon as they entered, a voice called out to Diablo, causing him to immediately tense up
"Diablo!!!!" Eri called out from behind the receptionist desk, looking at her, Hadrian was confused why Diablo would be so scared of her, he then looked to where Diablo was, only to see he was no longer there, looking around, he saw Diablo quickly enter into the dungeon
"What the?" Hadrian then looked over towards Eri, and he felt a chill up his spine as he saw the look on her face, as Diablo ignored her, he then quickly followed Diablo into the dungeon
Once he entered, he saw that Diablo was already killing goblins, he was also shouting something as he killed the monsters
"NO NO! DON'T TOUCH ME THERE! THIS IS MY NO-NO SQUARE!" DIablo shouted as he swung his katana through a goblin killing it immediately
"The fuck?" Hadrian wondered about his friend's sanity as he went to join him in killing the monsters and advancing into the next floors
--------------Three hours later---------------
"Pant pant' almost there!" Hadrian panted
"Y-yeah!" Diablo replied as a killer ant dropped from the ceiling, he quickly brought his sword straight up and slashed the ant in half, Hadrian then dashed from beside him and brought his giant sword down onto a Kobold, Diablo then jumped over Hadrian and in a twisting motion he brought down his sword and wiped out about twenty monsters as he landed in the center of a group of monsters, Hadrian then rushed towards the group of monsters Diablo was in the middle of, and Hadrian spun around slaughtering half of the group of monsters
"HAAAAAA!!!" DIablo let out a final shout as he fished off the rest of the monsters
"Finally!! I swear, why did you think it was a good idea to go through every floor, and not just skip to the 7th floor," Diablo said as he flopped down onto his back
"BITCH!!! You know damn well it was you who suggested it!! 'Oh well get stronger this way meh meh meh!' "Hadrian
".....You have no proof...." Diablo said as he hopped up
"Mother fucker," Hadrian said as he looked at Diablo who had an idiotic smile on his face, which only led him to sigh
"Welp, we can start skipping to the newest floors tomorrow, we have to buy a map for floors 8-12th when we come back tomorrow, now, help me pick up all of the magic stones," Diablo said as he squatted and started to pick up the magic stones
"Sure," Hadrian replied as he started helping Diablo
They quickly picked up all of the magic stones and started making their way to the stairs to lead them to the exit of the dungeon, once they walked out of the dungeon, Diablo heard a voice, and this time, it sounded angry
"DIABLO!!" Eri shouted as she stood in front of DIablo and Hadrian
"Why the hell are you ignoring me!!" Eri shouted as she walked closer to Diablo, she grabbed him by the arm causing him to have a fight or flight reaction, and he chose flight
"DON'T TOUCH MY PURSE, I DON'T KNOW THIS PERSON!!!" Diablo shouted as he pushed Eri's hand away from him and booked it out of the Entrance to the Babel tower, leaving Hadrian behind with Eri
"Next time, you won't get away," Eri mumbles under her breath with a predatory look on her face, she then looked at Hadrian, who was stunned by the outburst could only stand there
"Hadrian, was it? Pleased to meet you again, my name's Eri!" Eri said as her whole demeanor changed again, seeing this, Hadrian really started to worry about Diablo's safety

"Diablo? You here?" Hadrian asked as he walked into their bedroom, as he got to their beds, he saw a big lump underneath Diablo's blanket, and at the top of the blanket, a horn was protruding, which only made Hadrian sigh
"Is it only you?" Diablo
"Yeah, it's only me," Hadrian said as he threw his sword next to his bed
"So, you ready to talk about it?" Hadrian
"NO!!" Diablo shouted as he rolled over to face the wall
'Sigh' Hadrian could only sigh at the sight of his friend, he then turned the light off and laid down as well
