Chapter 10: Chapter 9
When Alex got back to the cave he sat down and sighed in relief, happy that nothing went wrong.
And on top of that he also caught a Pokemon, he never expected to because he did not have any Pokeballs, but he found 5 of them letting him be able to catch one.
Alex:"Ok so what am I going to do now?"
Alex thought for a moment about his next plan.
Alex:"Hmm, maybe I could start training Croagunk in his moves, since he takes awhile for him to do a move."
Alex:"What do you think about that Croagunk"Croagunk."
???:"Yeah sure."
Alex thoughts:"Who that hell said that?"
Thinking that it was just his imagination,
he shook it of and went to sleep since it was getting late, little did he know that he unlocked something that would change his life forever.
The next day
Alex woke up with a verya painful headache, thinking that he was just hungry he got up and ate, soon after Croagunk also woke up, Alex gave him food and they both started to eat.
After they finished eating, Alex and Croagunk got up and walked outside.
Alex:"Alright change of plans today we are going to train with Joltik."
Alex took Joltiks Pokeball and sent out Joltik, when it got out it looked around in confusion, until it locked eyes with Croagunk, the two stared at each other for a moment, before Joltik screeched started to attack Croagunk.
"Finally a real battle!" Alex said in excitement
Alex:" Croagunk use poision sting!"
Croagunk charged up his stack and ran towards Joltik, Joltik dodged the attack and proceeded to follow up with a electroweb.
Alex: Dodge it Croagunk!"
Croagunk could not dodge it in time and was hit by the attack, nocking him back a good distance away.
Alex:"Hang in there Crougunk and use bullet punch!"
This may not seem like a good play since Joltik resist it, but when Croagunk was using the move he seemed to be moving faster while doing the move so Alex thought they were somehow linked.
Luckily he was right and Croagunk seemed to be slightly faster.
But the added speed allowed Croagunk to knock Joltik at the edge of the lake, that made Alex get an idea.
Alex:"Croagunk knock it into the lake with bullet punch!"
Croagunk ran up to Joltik to punch it into the water, but the move Joltik used next shocked Alex to his very core, pun intended.
Electricity started rising from the ground, it wildly zapped things in the area, luckily it did not zap Alex, but unfortunately Croagunk was hit.
"Croagunk! are you ok?"Alex called out, worried.
Croagunk nodded his head yes, in response.
Alex thoughts:"What am I going to do? it didn't have this move before so how does it have know? thats the least of my problems now, how am I going to defeat it? I got it"
Alex:"Croagunk run up to Joltik while using bullet punch to dodge the attack!"
Croagunk,although hurt, did as he was told , with the extra speed given from bullet punch, he was able to dodge the lightning on his way to Joltik, and when he was close enough he fired of the bullet punch he was charging up, sending Joltik in the water, it electrocuted the Pokemon around it in the lake before passing out due to overcharging.
Alex the quickly returned Joltik to its Pokeball before it drowned, Alex could have done this early, he knew that, but he wanted to experience of a real battle.
Alex:"Yeah! we did Croagunk."
Alex:"Croagunk?"
Alex looked at Croagunk see that he was fainted, he recalled it back to its Pokeball and hurriedly ran back to the cave.
When he was there he hurriedly ran to the far back of the cave since he had no protection, since his Pokemon are fainted, they would become conscious in a couple of hours but until then he had no protection.
A few hours later
Alex had continuously check their Pokeballs with scan, all the while
thinking about how Joltik had rising voltage since it didn't have it before until he saw that Croagunk was awake,
he hurriedly called him out and healed him up to full hp.
Alex:"Hey Croagunk you ok?"
Croagunk:"Croa gunk
???:"Yeah im fine."
Alex thoughts:"Its that voice again from this morning, why do I keep hearing it."
Alex thought:"Is it that I haven't had a proper conversation with a human in a while?"
Alex thoughts:"Yeah thats probably it I must have not talked to a human in a while so i'm imagining a voice of Croagunk in my head."
