"Very well."
I see Yuni take something from her drawer before placing it on the table. It was some sort of device.
"And this is?"
"This is a beacon. You place this on the ground and press the button on top to let the company know when you are ready to take your reward."
"How long do I need to wait?"
"Two hours, maybe three hours max. Anyway, this beacon will last for seven days if you do not use this, it means you decide to abandon your potential waifu, and the company will not give you another one."
"Understood. I can place this anywhere, right?"
"As long as it was on your Earth, yes. It will not work if you place it inside your pocket dimension the same with other Earth."
"I see."
I take the device and place it inside my pocket.
"As for Kara herself, the company recommended that you immediately reincarnate her first to heal her body before binding her. After that, you can heal all the tumors inside her body. The higher up say that your peerage member can heal her or you can take her to the hospital in the underworld."
I raise one of my eyebrows before looking at Medea, who nodded her head before saying.
"Yes, I can do it, master. However, I don't know how long it will take as I did not know how many tumors were inside her body or how extensive her injury was. I will try to heal her with all my ability."
"I see. Good. I will leave her to you then."
"Yes"
I then look at Yuni once again before saying.
"Yuni, can I see the perk? Body perk."
"Of course."
"First thing first, I need to upgrade my Mental Barrier perk, and Cloak Mark perk fully. That leaves me at?"
"Hmmm. One thousand three hundred twenty-three."
"I see…."
I look at the perk for a minute before saying.
"I want to take Holy Immunity, I perk."
"Not light immunity."
"No. Light and Holy is easy to misunderstand. Light is an elemental while Holy is a unique form of Light power."
"Heh. That's true. Anyway, you can't buy that perk, sadly."
"What? It says here that it cost me one thousand points."
"Yes, if you are a human or other race that does not have any weakness to holy power. Sadly you are a devil, a race that has a massive weakness to holy power. The point triples up when a devil asks for this perk."
"Damn."
"Yup. Do you want to take a loan to buy this perk?"
"Nah, I will take that perk later."
"Very well."
After saying that, Yuni gets up from the chair and opens another portal.
"Please follow me."
~Three hours later~
Urgh. I still did not like the process of adding perks inside my body. It was like fighting my mother when she was in a bad mood and decided to 'spar' with my brother and me. Each punch breaks our bones.
However, this process leaves a massive headache.
"Come back again!"
I say my goodbye to Rhan-Tegoth before walking away from the perk room. While it was not as painful as the first one, it still hurt. I follow the corridor for a minute before I arrive in the Company Hub once again.
"Welcome back, Riser."
"Urgh. I really hate going there."
"We all are, Riser. He said that the pain is only for a first-timer, but it never stops. Anyway, is there anything I can do for you?"
"Nothing at the moment."
"Very well. Do you want to get out yourself, or should I do it for you?"
"Nah, we will get out ourselves. I still have some contracts that need to be finished."
"Very well."
I take my phone and open up the portal to our world. We walk through the portal and arrive inside our house in Kuoh. We walk out of the basement and see most of my peerage members lazing around the living room.
Shirou currently plays Mario Kart with Illya, and by the look of it, he is losing. Rin and Sakura have a pleasant conversation with each other. Their topic? Magic circle. Lastly, Hermione is currently brewing some potion in a cauldron.
The first one to notice us is Rin, who looks at us before saying.
"Welcome back, Riser."
"I'm back."
"So, what kind of upgrade do you get?"
"Workshop. The castle in the pocket dimension will have a workshop for you, Hermione Medea, and me."
"Hmmm? We already have a workshop."
"Ah, it was a workshop that was built specifically for you. Your workshop will have a few kilos worth of jewels for you to experiment with, and I think there are also a few tools and other ingredients."
"Oh!"
"Not only that, the items inside will be refilled and repaired on its own every three months."
I can see the excitement on Rin's face when she hears it. Sakura and Illya did not really care as they already had their own workshop. However, they are a little bit jealous of the refill and repair mechanism.
Illya always gets something destroyed when she experiments and does research. To be a magus is to walk with death. An explosion is a common occurrence. When an explosion is happening, the tools she has will be destroyed.
Sakura also does her own experiment but not as a magus but as a magician. She did not want to kill an innocent man to reach the root, but she experimented with animals and plants. As she learns how to brew potions from Hermione, she needs a large number of ingredients for her lab.
"Anyway, other than that, I also want to tell you guys that we will go to Akihabara in two days."
Hearing the name of Akihabara, Illya perks up and looks at me with an excited expression.
"Really?"
"Yup. Other than an anime heaven, Akihabara is also the biggest magical market in Japan. Anyway, other than the money you got from doing your contract and job, I already got a few hundred thousand yen from my mother."
I can see Hermione and Sakura want to say something, but I beat them to it before they can say anything.
"And no. You guys can't refuse. My mother told me to give it to you guys, and I can't refuse her offer. Just take the money and use it to buy whatever you want. Figurine? Buy it. Game? Buy it. Magical ingredient? Go for it. Just spend that money. Hell, if you want to save that money for later, you can do that as well."
I nod my head when I see them put down their hands. They know that I can't say no to my mother. Even when I reach Sirzechs power, I have a feeling that I still cannot say no to her. Not only because she is my mother, but also because her fist hurts like a bitch.
"Anyway, I guess that is all. Before then, you can do whatever you want."
