Chapter 23: Dark Unknown
The bright light shone as seraphine's eyelashes slightly trembled
"what is this torturous light?! Is it Trying to ruin my delicious food dream T - T"
Seraphine thought as she slowly got up
Her paw came forward to block the sunlight on face
"ugh" she said out loud groggily
as she stretched her body
"Ah ~ that feels good" she said as she finished stretching, she looked outside of the cave towards the bright sunshine and deducted that it was probably still morning
She looked around her surrounding in the cave and then thought "hmm?
why have I never tried moving towards the deeper part of this crystal cave? Strange.. " she said as she looked towards the dark part of the cave ahead that went in deeper
Should I go in now while there's sunlight or should I go when it's dark and scare the shit out of myself more then? Seraphine thought and the answer was pretty obvious
She went in now!
Seraphine held onto the caves walls and slowly moved towards the dark part of the cave while still running her hands on the wall to know where she was going
Seraphine suddenly stopped and looked behind her towards the entrance of the cave
She was tryna find something, someone
Her eyes dimmed and she suddenly felt sad
Even though I do have undine and the system with me, I still can't help but feel lonely
She thought as she suddenly looked forward and began walking ahead deeper in the cave again
She could feel a few crystal here and there therefore whenever her paws which were running on the wall felt anything she would pull her paws back and then go around the object
Although it was a pretty funny sight to see a gorgeous baby fox walk with its paws on the wall beside it walking like a human
But She also didn't want to get her poor paws hurt by any pokie crystals in such a place where survival of the fittest existed she had to make sure that she was in tip top shape to even survive!
Slowly all light got dimmer as the darkness in the cave started increasing even more as she walked ahead step by step
Untill finally there was nothing but darkness there wasn't a sound and the only thing she could rely on to even know where she was, was the wall
her paws tightened slightly as she unconsciously shivered, she cautiously moved forward even deeper into the dark unknown ahead of her
She stopped moving and suddenly seraphine thought
I should summon undine to help
Although she won't be able to help with the darkness she can still help me scout and see what's happening hopefully?
if she can see in the dark....
She waved her paw to open the system screen but then she smacked herself in the face
It's so freaking dark even if I get the system screen I won't be able to see anything
So she decided to mentally summon undine
SUMMON UNDINE!!
Seraphine thought, she had her eyes closed to focus more
The sound of drizzling water came suddenly and seraphines eyes couldn't help opening wide
"kyuuu~" a sound came and at that instant seraphine knew it was undine
Ahh undine's so damn cute even when I can't see her!
