Chapter 2: The feeling of losing
/This is still part of the flashback/
Thomas slowly woke up in a bed, he turns his head trying to figure out where he was, he then took notice of his surroundings.
*BEEP*
That was the noise the heart monitor to his right was making.
*BEEP*
Thomas's eyes felt like it was burning, his lips trembled, he was trying to hold back the tears, but he couldn't so he screamed and cried at the same time.
Thomas, "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Everyone outside his room heard his screams, soon the door opened nurses and a doctor ran to his side trying to see if everything is okay, after they checked everything was okay the doctor asked, "how are you feeling kid".
Thomas ignored the doctors questioned and shouted, "WHERES MAMA, PAPA, MY LITTLE SISTER WHERE ARE THEY"
Thomas was extremely worried he didn't know if his family was okay. Thomas's mind was going thousands of miles a second he was having a mental breakdown, he kept screaming for his family and help so the doctor took drastic measures and gave him anesthesia to make him go to sleep. Thomas was slowly falling asleep while he was falling asleep he kept thinking of the times he spends with his family all those times he laughed with them, he cried with them, he was angry with them, right before a fully went to sleep he said something that made the doctor even sad because he knew the answer, Thomas said, "I miss you guys"

After that Thomas woke up to find out that his entire family died in the car crash what's worse is that during the car crash because Savannah was right next to him she protected him from the car crash her body was the reason he didn't die the police say that when they discovered him he was right on top of savannah they don't know if savannah did it on purpose or not all they know is that a miracle happened for him to be alive.
After he found out that his family died he screamed and cried for 2 weeks straight they had to put him to sleep by force, they had to feed him, they had to do everything for him it was like he became a toddler all over again. After 2 weeks he finally stopped his eyes had no reason to live, he started doing things for himself but every time someone walked past him or even saw him, what they saw was a young 8-year boy who lost everything he had no reason live he was so depressed it got to the point where he believes that dying would make him happy because he would reunite with his family but he knew deep down that he lost them....forever.
After 4 months in the hospital trying to come in contact with his family trying to find a place for him to stay and also to find someone who can pay for his stay in the hospital, they came in contact with his uncle who adopted him. When the hospital came in contact with his uncle they told him everything that happened, of course, he was sad he cried after all he lost his twin brother. The uncle whose name is Julian is the brother of Thoma's father whose name is Jonathan. After Julian went to pick up Thomas he arrived to see an 8-year-old boy with no hope in his eyes he basically looked dead but he knew he was very much alive. During the drive back he tried to come up with a conversation to make Thomas smile, speak or do anything but he couldn't Thomas was no longer the sweet boy he knew who always smiled. When they arrived at Thomas's house, Thomas became eye wide his now in front of the house that is full of good memories, the house he grew up in, the house where....his family used to live in. The reason they were there wasn't to pick up the stuff that was in the house Julian already took care of that, Julian came to Thomas's house so Thomas can have a proper goodbye.
(Julian looks exactly like Jonathan because they were twin brothers)

Thomas walked into his house nothing to see, the house was empty he walked around the house touching the walls remembering the memories he made, he remembers when they celebrated his birthday when, when he tried to ride a bike in the yard, Julian sit down in the floor waiting for him but he was also extremely sad he was holding back tears, when Thomas finish his travel around the house he walked up to Julian with his lips trembling at a fast pace and his hair covering his eyes he asked Julian, "Uncle do you...know the feeling of losing the people closes to you.... people who you wish you died with"
At that question, Julian ran up to Thomas crying while Thomas also ran up to Julian they both hugged each other crying tears flowing down their cheek clearly sad about the family's death. When they finished crying Julian told Thomas, "I know....I know that feeling" and they once again began crying flowing their very last drop of emotions and tears they were hiding.
