Chapter 55: Worries in the Palace

Victor smirked looking at her while Travis let out a chuckle which was more like a taunt to Mia.

"Why are you passing time now? I said I will do whatever you want right? I promise you that I will stand on my word. Please save my husband" Mia requested with tears in her eyes.

"So now you came to beg us? Now we should fall for your tears? What have you done while he requested you helplessly?" Travis screamed at her.

"Travis, stop" Victor ordered.

"Why should I? Did she care while you were crying?" Travis questioned back.

"We don't want this. Stop it now" Victor was serious now.

"Look Mia, I never had an intention to hurt you. It's your adamancy that made me do this. If you would have cooperated with me, things would have not messed" Victor shrugged.

"Just because someone doesn't agree along with you that doesn't give you any right to play with their lives. You need to understand the basic concept of rejection" Mia cried.
