Chapter 14: Chapter Fourteen
The next day, I woke up real early. I had to prepare the my brother's meal for school. Sfter that was done, the school bus came and took him.
"Stop talking in the past tense, I'm here."
...And there is she. A girl I can't understand.
"You have no parents?"
"When Down City entered the era of powers, they fled the city."
"And you became a hero?"
"Electra, I don't expect you to understand."
"That's the problem of hero and villain. They fight without understsnding the meaning behind their quarrels. That's why Down City is fated to be a ruin. Because of you. Anyway, I brought wine and chips.. Wanna accompany me to watching Insidious??"
That girl I can't understand at all is legit.. The name's Karin and I am a hero. Today, I will be spending time with a hero killer in ny house...
"Electra, what do you plan on doing to me and the hero agency? Are you a new villain in the Down City?? Are you with the Villain Association???"
"....Everything.. Meet them. Nope. Nope. Does my replies help you?? Now, shut your trap.. The movie's starting..."
I know I shouldn't be thknking about that. I should be reporting to the hero agency. But, I can't. Her presence is pulling despite, the blood reeks she leaves behind her. She's a hero killer, a murderer, dangerous murderer and also, someone who wants to do everything with me. I wonder why me. Why would she want me??
Looking at her, she seems bigger than yesterday. Her hair's badly cut and is mixed with blood. Her skin is soft and her face, so young. Everytime I look at her, I see a model, a top model. But she must have lived a worst life. She doesn't seem like a high class. And the way she speaks is the same as mine. How much has she gotten through to end up here today...? What happened between her and Mind?? Why now???
"That was one HELL of a movie... I almost pissed my pants.. Maybe tomorrow, I could watch the second--"
"Electra. Can I propose something?"
"..Sure, Karin."
"I can arrange a meeting with the hero agency leaders and you.. I can definitely do it. So that no killing is done. Please?"
"...All right, Karin. Do your hero job."
Okay. I managed to maje her accept the deal real easy. Now, I need to convince the General Sandra Jones to meet up with her. She told me that we, hero never gave a damn about the reasons of a fight. I want to chsnge that. If I can make Electra a part of the hero agency, then, we will SURELY win the war against the villain association....
