Chapter 15: Strange place
Just before Ethan met with Luna,

In a strange realm known as Vulpinaria, A bizarre world where the only inhabitants are foxes with magical abilities that can transform into human forms after some mastery over their magic elements, and this place is filled with towering trees adorned with luminescent leaves that shimmer in a myriad of colors, reflecting the emotions and energy of the mystical creatures that reside here.
In the heart of this mystical realm, there lies the Enchanted Grove, A sacred land where the Queen of this realm reigns over her subjects.
One sunny afternoon, the Queen was teaching magic to her 16-year-old daughter, who was happily learning it with a smile, the Queen also had a smile watching her daughter learn everything so fast.
Suddenly a maid came near them but didn't disturb them until the Queen asked about her reason for visiting.
She replied while bowing her head, that lunch is ready and the Queen turned to her for only a second when suddenly a strange portal appeared under her daughter, swallowing her.
The Queen quickly moved to catch her daughter before she disappeared but it was already too late, she only caught air, making her scream in anger.
Hearing her angry scream, the maid hurriedly kneeled and begged for forgiveness, Knowing that if she hadn't disturbed her Queen, she would have been able to stop her daughter from using the spatial magic that she hadn't mastered yet.
The Queen just sighed but wasn't worried as she knew her daughter could keep herself safe with that much knowledge and mana/magic power, and she is mature enough to distinguish between good and bad.
She told the maid to get up and alert the saint about this little mishap, so he could quickly find her daughter, to which the maid hurriedly nodded her head and ran toward the top tree, where the saint resided while the Queen kept looking at the place where her daughter was standing a moment ago.
But what the Queen didn't know is that due to her daughter's insufficient mastery over spatial magic, there were some errors in her landing location and when her daughter tried to stabilize that error, all of her magic power was sucked, due to which she transformed back into her fox form, and she landed in a pit filled with traps.
As she fell from some heights, she injured herself heavily and hissed out loud and that was when Ethan heard her painful cry.
When she heard the footsteps, she tried to get away from there but it only made it more painful for her and she stayed still, hoping that the person approaching won't hurt her.
When Ethan picked her, she felt a strong pressure on her body as she is in the presence of some mighty race but when Ethan offered her blood for drink, she really wanted to deny it.
She knew if she drank anyone's blood, he/she would become her master, she came to know this because she is the daughter of the queen, but the scent of the blood was making her drool for some reason and finally, when she drank Ethan's blood, her body started filling with energy and her body started healing at an alarming rate, completely shocking her.
After some time, when she opened her eyes to see, who is the person, whose blood was this miraculous.
She was shocked to find a human but thought that it could be his human form, hiding his beastly appearance from the world.
But When Ethan put her down and started walking away from her, she get that it's really a human with miraculous blood and have no clue that he made a contract with her.
Knowing that she is now bound with contract she started following him silently.
She have enough magic power to open a portal for returning but as she have no mastery over that element, so she didn't tried to make the same mistake again, not knowing where she will teleport to this time or will she even survive the spatial tunnel.
She sighed and followed him, as this was her only option now, and even if she want to return, she have to terminate her contract with him which is only possible when both parties knows about it and want to end the contract.
She can't even return to her human form, not knowing what type of person Ethan is but at least he helped her when she was in pain.
So, from this much, she can guess, he is at least not a bad person.

When he was taking her home, she suddenly started feeling a little sleepy by his petting, and when she opened her eyes in the hands of an unknown person, she looked around feeling that the person she was coming with was not there and she came to some unknown place, where she will get experimented on like the horror story maids around the sacred grove talked about.
But when she turned her head behind her, she sighed in relief that Ethan was here too, she quickly jumped from the unknown person's hands to him.
Then she saw Ethan pecking the other person's cheek.
Watching this, she understood that the other person is important to her master and then she finally relaxed around her.
After some time, Sarah started checking her gender making her cover her eyes in embarrassment and they started bickering about something related to her.
As she hadn't wandered outside her grove until now, so she didn't know many languages but still can still understand them a little.
When she was looking at them, Ethan suddenly turned to her, and with his hand petting her fur he said that from now on her name will be Luna.
She already had a name given by her mother but it is a rule to get a new name when anyone from her tribe/clan accepts anyone as her/his master.
She actually liked the Luna name more than her given birth name and started happily running around them.
