Chapter 9: She went for Rehabilitation
''I think they are out on a date. They actually look sweet together''
''Butler James, where are they now?'' Jasper's voice turned chilly.
''At the beach.''
''Have you gotten through to her aunt?''
''Yes, but she said that house means a lot to Miss Ibrahim and unless she herself wants it; she doesn't have anything to say about it''
''I see. Looks like I need to pay Miss Ibrahim a special visit'' Jasper said and smirked.
''Sir, you're not thinking of kidnapping her. Are you?'' Butler James asked cautiously. He knew his boss very well and knew what he was capable of. He was always ruthless to people who made him uncomfortable.
''Do I have to tell you my plans?'' Jasper cocked his brows at him.
''No, just that. She is still young; I hope you don't go overboard with anything'' Butler James shook his head and went out of the office.

Noah walked to Inayah and put a coat over her shoulders before sitting by her.
''The place is getting chilly''
''Thanks'' Inayah looked at the waves of the sea and smiled. She suddenly felt at peace while sitting at the beach. It reminded her of her grandfather. She always felt peaceful each time she was with him.
''Ayah, about the mansion next to your house'' Noah spoke, bringing her back to her senses.
''Mm, what about it?''
''I heard the owner is not a good man''
''What?'' Inayah laughed and asked, ''you believe in rumours?''
''Some rumours hold truth in them''
''Dear friend, don't listen to rumours okay? 8 months ago, I got suspended from school and I had to go to rehab. Do you know why I was suspended?''
Noah looked at her curiously. This was the first time she was speaking about her personal life. ''Tell me''
''Because of rumours. So, Noah, don't spread rumours unless you have facts about it. Rumours almost ruined my life''
''But, have you seen him before?''
''No, but, I have a feeling we will meet very soon''
''Why?''
''If he doesn't confront me; then I will'' she said with determination. She was done playing hide and seek with him.
''I told you to stay away from him''
''You look suspicious right now. Do you know that man? The owner?'' Inayah leaned closer to look at his face.
''No''
''Then, why are you against me seeing him? Do you know what that man wants to do to me?''
''What does he want from you?''
''That faceless man wants my house. He even called me a stalker. I don't know him but, he seems to have a grudge against me for staying in my own house''
''Stay away from him, is for your own good''
''You might not know this, but, I am someone who does the exact opposite of what I'm told. I don't follow instructions that well. The more you tell me to stay away, the more curious I become. So, please let's stop it here, okay?''
''Okay''
''He better not appear in front of me again. I will cut that mask from his face'' Inayah said and started gathering the sand around her to build a sand house.
Noah looked at her and asked, ''what is that?''
''Tsk! Can't you see? I'm building a house'' Inayah yawned and chuckled.
''Hungry?'' Noah asked.
''I turn to get hungry fast when I'm doing nothing''
''I'm coming''
''Where are you going?''
''I have some juice in the car, I will bring it to you''
''Okay'' Inayah nodded and Noah walked away and three girls approached her.
''Inayah?'' one of them called and Inayah looked up and her smile disappeared as soon as she saw them.
''So, the rumour was true after all? You're really back'' another said and Inayah got up and faked a smile as she said to them.
''Hi, girls''
''You haven't changed at all'' the first girl asked in a tone that meant to be sarcastic.
''How have you all been?'' Inayah asked as she looked at the one in the middle especially. The one person who hadn't spoken since they approached her.
''What do you think? We will be fine after what happened?''
''If you left, you should have stay there forever. What is the use of coming back? Well. You have always been that kind of person. So fickle''
Inayah chuckled. ''Really? I didn't know I was that kind of person''
''Samantha also came, as you can see. She is fine after everything that happened'' the first girl said pointing at the girl in the middle of them.
''I see. Do you also blame me for what happened? Do you think everything is my fault, too? Samantha?'' Inayah asked as she looked at the one in the middle.
''No. Nothing was your fault to begin with. I'm happy to see that you're back. But, why didn't you never call me?'' she finally spoke.
''I was doing rehabilitation; I didn't have the time to call anyone. Are you angry with me, because I never called?''
''No, why should I?''
''So, the rumour is true? You really went to City S for rehabilitation? Girls, did you hear that?''
''I guess you really needed it. I always thought you weren't normal, but, looking at you now; I think it was a good idea to do rehab, right Selina?'' the other asked the first girl.
''How are you feeling, now? Are you alright?'' Samantha asked as she forced a smile that didn't reach her eyes.
''Samantha, I can't believe you are still worried about this sly fox. She almost made you go to prison'' Joy the second girl spoke while looking at Inayah with contempt.
''What do you mean? We are friends, of course, I should worry about her. Right, Ayah?'' Samantha asked as she smiled.
''Of course, we will always be friends'' Inayah extended the same fakeness unto the girl.
Samantha noticed she was alone and asked, 'what are you doing here, alone''
''I saw a guy going that way. Did you come here with a guy?'' Selina asked.
''Yes, he is a friend. I wanted to breath in some fresh air and feel the cold breeze before tomorrow''
''Boyfriend?'' Joy asked.
''You should really get your ears checked, Joy. I said friend, I didn't say boyfriend'' Inayah said and heard her name from a distance.
''Inayah?'' Noah frowned when he got closer to them.
Selina smirked and asked, ''does he know. That you are a psychopath?''
''Stop it, Selina'' Samantha said, acting as if she wasn't pleased with her words.
''What? he should know the true colours of the girl he is dating'' Selina said as she looked at the Noah.
''Ayah. The juice is all hot. I think I have to buy fresh one'' Noah ignored them completely as he spoke to Inayah.
''He is so handsome'' Joy whispered to Selina and they both blushed.
''I know'' Selina replied but when she saw Inayah smiling, she glared at her.
''No, is okay. We will be going soon, anyway. Let's buy some on the way'' Inayah said smiling.
''But, you are hungry?'' Noah said and pouted his lips.
Inayah chuckled and asked, ''you look like you are the one who is hungry''
Samantha clenched her fists before she relaxed and put on a beautiful smile as she asked, ''Ayah, is he your friend?''
''Sorry, my bad. Noah, meet my classmates. Samantha, my friend and these are Selina and Joy. Samantha's friends'' Inayah did the introduction the girls were dying for but Noah's response was far from being delighted. He greeted them half-heartedly.
''Hi'' he said and looked away, pretending not to see the outstretched arms of Selina and Joy. ''Nice to meet you all''
''Nice to meet you too. We should get going. Ayah, we will see ourselves tomorrow, right?'' Samantha said and pulled the two girls to her side.
"'Yes, Samantha'' Inayah nodded her head.
''Bye, Noah. Let's go, girls'' Samantha pulled Selina and Joy away. She was angry and felt humiliated by Noah's actions.
''Those girls are your friends?'' Noah asked when the girls walked a far distance away from them.
''I once trusted and called them my friends but, now I don't know what to call them'' Inayah had a blank expression as she looked at the back view of Samantha. She was feeling eerie around her after what happened leading to her getting almost arrested.
''Let's go. You must be hungry''
''I think you are the one hungry. But I am also very hungry'' Inayah said and they both laughed.
At the roadside, Samantha, Selina and Joy watched Inayah and Noah getting into his car and they talked among themselves.
"'Look at the car, my father said there were only two of such cars in the whole of City H'' Selina's father was a car dealer, so she knew a lot about cars.
''That guy must be filthy rich'' Joy added.
''There are only two families in City Z that has that car type. The Miles and the Adams'' Samantha said.
''That means that guy is from one of those families. God! He is a rich kid. Where did Inayah get such a boy by her side?'' Selina frowned.
''Does that mean, Inayah just got herself a rich boyfriend?'' Joy asked and they looked at each other.
Samantha's lips were turned into an unpleasant arc as she spoke. ''We can't be so sure of that. Besides, she said they're friends''
''You believe her?'' Selina asked.
