Chapter 47: 46. Press Conference part 2

Sophia casually sipped on her matcha latte as she watched the numerous white flash mark the path into the hotel for Mr. Kinnely. Besides the slight hint of curiosity that seemed to be leaking from Luna's eyes, no other emotions could be felt from her. Her sheeer presence was one of complete calmness or perhaps it was just the calm before the storm?

On the other side of the room, there was a rather handsome man also enclosed into his corner of the room through a green artificial wall. His deep blue eyes also glanced at the hotel entrance from the one-way window. One of his hands rested on top of the table while the other elegantly raised to bring the cup of coffee to his thin but rather luscious pink lips.

Due to how big of a commotion the press conference had brought upon the country, besides the live conference being aired on many different platforms there was also a big screen plastered to the front of the hotel like a big billboard. It was also a live broadcast only this one wasn't from any official news channel but directly organized by Five Brothers Corp. This one showed the entire event as it happened with no biased views on the interview.

For anyone passerby's who want to watch the press conference they could stand in front of the hotel to watch or they can just watch while being seated inside the cafe that just happened to be directly in front of the hotel.

At this time, Mr. Kinnely had already gone inside the hotel hence he was no longer visible from outside the hotel. The people inside the cafe and those outside the hotel all had turned their gazes to the billboard that was placed in order to accommodate them.

In the billboard it showed fours different panels. Kind of like those CCTV camera only these cameras move about to capture more than just one angle and position.

There was a countdown on the big presentation screen in front of the many seats that accommodates the different reporters.

The white flashes that was accompanied by clicks suddenly increased when a tall man dressed in a black business suit made his way towards the podium situated at the center of the big stage.

For those who had searched up on the Five brothers Corp or were business partners with them, would come to know this man as the personal secretary of Mr. Kinnely.

Sophia also recognized him as the man who was following behind her when she first entered the building behind Mr. Kinnely. The one Mr. Kinnely dismissed from the room after both of them were seated.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Five Brothers Corp welcomes you to this Press Conference. Thank you to all those who have come and to those who are taking the time to watch." At this time Mr. Kinnely's secretary, Mr. Jason took his time to step to the side and show his full body in front of the screen. Once he was sure that everyone was following, he shouted a big 'thank you' before bending down 90 degrees to show his full sincerity.

After a full 20 seconds of bowing down, he slowly straightened his back and step back behind the podium and tapped on the mic.

"As you all know, we have gathered many news stations here today to release a big news that will shake the whole of the business world. As much as the damage may be harmful to the economy, my boss, Mr. Kinnely had decided on behalf of the whole Five Brothers Corp, that this news, harmful as it may be, must be released. Not because we enjoy causing trouble for the economy but because the truth must be revealed. As long as we fix this root cause, we believe that our economy will thrive more than ever! So, without further ado, I would like to welcome the CEO of Five Brothers Corp, Mr. Kinnely Williams onto the stage!" His hands gestures towards the right side of the stage from where a tall figure of Mr. Kinnely could be seen walking with a steady pace toward the stage.

The reporters all started talking and the room was noisy to the point where one couldn't hear their own voices!

Despite so, white flashes continued to blind the figure of Mr. Kinnely all the way until he had reached the podium.

Mr. Jason stood to the side and adjusted the mic for Mr. Kinnely after which he took two steps to the back leaving Mr. Kinnely in the spotlight.

Tapping twice on the mic, Mr. Kinnely was able to quiet down the entire room and grab all their attention.

"Once again, ladies and gentlemen , thank you for coming to this last minute press conference." Mr. Kinnely bowed his head slightly bowed his head and looked up directly at the many reporters right in front of him.

"As you all know the news that we're going to release will shake the entire business world and even have a deep impact on the economy since Grey Corporation is a major part of the safety of many people all over the country. No matter what, I shall inform you all that whatever I am about to say is true. The truth behind Grey Corporation is one that must be revealed for the good of our economy!"

"Before we say anything, please listen to the following voice recording…"

Mr. Kinnely picked up a small remote that was placed on the podium, turned his body sideways and faced the presentation screen behind him.

With the press of a button, the slide changed and in came a page with a a voice recording. Mr. Kinnely pressed another button and the silent press conference room listened closely to all that was being played.

No matter what plays, they knew that after listening they would at the very least be able to find some big news to report back, hence they were all quiet. Besides the several clicks of photos, there was only the sound coming from the speakers.

This was the 31st century, even the smallest details were clearly emphasized hence, the voice recording was also clearly heard by the many people.

To those who followed the business news they were all acquainted with the voice of Mr. Levi Grey.

"I will keep my word and make sure to deliver you 10 girls within a week, please do not worry… "

"About the Denmir contract… " his voice sounded hesitant as he softly spoke to the other person.

"Once my men receive the girls, Grey Corporation will naturally be the best candidate to hire for our Denmir contract signing, isn't that so, Mr. Grey?"

The people both physically present at the conference hall and the ones listening and watching in on the conference from the love broadcasts all were shocked silly.

A similar thought ran through theirs minds,

'The reputable Mr. Grey sold girls to gain contract signings for his company?!

How was that possible?!
