Chapter 2: 002
Lin Fan booked a cab for Wuxi . Even if it was long journey , he felt a cab would be more enjoyable along with the views on the way.
But to his disappointment , he found no big change than the last time he saw.
But who was he kidding ? What could change that fast ?
He hasn't called to his home for a while and he wanted to come back unannounced .
When he reached his home , it was already past 4Pm. He paid the cab and knocked on the door.
A girl who looked to around 19 opened the door. When she saw Lin Fan standing in front of the door , there was only small change in her expression .
"Brother . Welcome back. "
"Lily , Aren't you surprised ? "
" Yes , I am . Why didn't you call saying you will come back ? "
"Then how can it be surprise ? Beside can't you show me a bit of a surprise expression . I am your brother . I think I deserve at least that much . "
"Prick . Think how were you as a brother . Eat whatever you find . "
She entered the room with a bang after giving a loud 'humph' .
This was his sister , Lin Li , but she had named herself Lily . She has been always like this . She didn't have much recollection about Lin Fan as he was out of home since he was 9 years old .
"Where is mother ? "
"She is at work . Father is also at work . "
"Okay. Here are some souvenir for you guys . Give it to them . I will visit tomorrow . "
He got out of his house . Even though he has said living with family to Phill but he had no willingness to do it .
If he were to list the thing he hated the most in this world , the no. 1 would always be his father .
He respected the man for his love toward his mother but other than that he hated the sight of that man .
When he was abroad , he had asked his sister and mother to move with him but they didn't agree . He could only give up .
Getting out of the house , he went about a kilometer away and found a building where he could rent a apartment.
He purchased , the whole top floor . He didn't lacked money.
After making sure that everything was done , he went to sleep .
He was very exhausted after the long journey .

"Is he gone ? "
Lily opened her door and walked out . On the table , many bags were to be found . She opened up one bag with the name tag 'Lily ' .
She found that there were many limited version action figures of Iron Man , Thor , Hulk and Captain America . When she was 15 , she used to love them a lot and want time she saved a lot of money to be able to buy one but it was a common one .
She always wished to have a limited edition one . The only one in the family who knew about it was her mother so she must have told him . But this was four years ago . Now she had grown up to 19 years old and how could she keep the action figures.
She looked left and right and slowly took all the action figure inside her room . She returned shortly after a short time with a smile on her face . She looked at the other items on the bag . There were a few bags , cologne , and make Up items . She didn't know how he purchased them but they were all high brand.
After putting her bag aside she found that there were two more bags . Surprised that one must be for father , she checked but one was name tag for mother and other was as 'Chocolates' .
She didn't open the one for mother as she would return soon but opened the other . As the name suggests , there were a lot of chocolates of different sizes and various flavor . There were also some sweets . She also found 'Black' Chocolate which she used to like .
She didn't like it now probably because she had eaten the same a lot but still she couldn't help but smile.
While she was checking, the door opened and a middle aged woman walked inside . She was Westerner.
"Mom , welcome back . "
"Lily, what are you doing ? Wow , who brought them ? "
"Brother is back . "
"Oh . Fan is ? Where is he ? "
"Don't know . But probably because he didn't want to see Dad . He said he will return tomorrow . "
" Then shouldn't you ask where he is staying ? Wait I will call him. "
"No . I think he just returned .He seemed exhausted . He should be resting . "
"Yeah . Right . I will call tomorrow . "
"Has he brought anything for dad ? "
"What do you think ? "
"Sigh . What can I do . What has he brought for me ? "
"I haven't open it . Let's see. "
They opened the bag .
" Wow . What a beautiful Watch . This must be expensive . Wow . Look at this necklace . Your brother sure has got taste . "
"He probably bought what the shopkeeper gave him . "
"Knowing him , probably . "
"So how was he ? Was he well ? Has he became taller ? Has he gained weight ? What did you gave him to eat ? "
"He left fast without eating . As for him , as a matter of fact , he didn't seems to change much . He was pretty much as he used to be four years ago . "
"Huh? He left without eating ? Are you sure , you asked him to eat ? Or did you just enter your room without asking him ? "
"No no . I did ask him . But shouldn't you focus on him not changing ? "
"No . Why ? It's normal for to be only small change within just four years . "
"But there wasn't even normal change. "
Lily could only mumble .
While they were talking a middle aged man entered the house .
"Dad (Honey) , Welcome back . "
"What are you gathering around for ? Who sent such items ? "
"It's brother . He came back . "
"Oh ? That brat came back . Where is he ? "
"He is already gone . Dad , can't you talk properly with brother ? You guys always argue whenever you meet . "
"Isn't it because your brother always go against my wish ? "
"But ..."
"Okay . You don't have to speak another word for that arrogant brat. Would it be like this , if he has respected me a bit ? "
"Okay , you two stop arguing . Let's eat the chocolate . "
"You two eat it . I don't like sweet things . I am going in . "
Saying this , he entered his room and closed the door .
"Your father cares about your brother . He is just sad about not receiving gift . "
"Yes , I know but why does brother not like father that much ? Dad, is pretty nice . "
" Sigh . I don't know that reason . Okay . Stop talking about them , let's eat . Leave some for your dad . "
"Sure . "
