Chapter 3: Chapter 3 - Ludirus Kingdom
"We have finally descended..."
I feel like the mana in this area is getting low. My speculation was right, the mountain back then is a source of mana while below is just so-so. It's the reason why the plants and trees were rare not like here, most are common and only use for low-grade potions.
"If the inhabitants will slowly consume mana at the mountain starting from the bottom, they will become powerful but why didn't they think of that?"
Maybe it's because they thought powerful monsters are living up there.
"Now that I'm down here. What should I do? The system told me that I should live my life starting from now on with happiness."
I have the power to take over this world if I want to because I still can't feel any powerful being using my Divine Sense. But that doesn't make me happy though. What's my purpose? My goal?
"Having a family of my own is not bad..." I whispered and looked behind me. Both these mystical creatures are family to me but having a real family feels... different.
I may look like 18 but in truth, I'm already 118 years old.
"I don't have a goal for now but I will do what makes me happy for now. Then maybe, sooner or later I might come to a decision what real happiness is..."
I'm not wearing my armor for now. However, I'm wearing a robe like those in wuxia books. Still, this looks very eye-catching because of its nobility design and expensive materials in making it.
No matter what I do to not catch attention, it's impossible because just by having a white tiger and the white fox is an eye-turner. I can use magic to hide them but it restricts their freedom so it's a no for me. I also want them to see the world.
"We are still far from the inhabitants though, but with just two days I think we will arrive at a small village."
The egg is almost hatching as well. I let Kohaku carry it by its back using a saddle that can support things. The saddle also has an incubating function so maybe tonight the egg will hatch.
As we continue our journey, we finally see living beings but... It's a monster though.
"Goblins huh..."
We stared at a group of ugly green-skinned creatures. They are using clubs as a weapon with no armor and just a piece of cloth to cover their private part.
"Why aren't they attacking?"
The goblins were trembling as we stared down at them. They were not scared of Kohaku nor Masa, but they were staring at me intensely and a second later, one of them fainted.
"Well... Sadly, your group bumped to me."
With a sigh, five goblins died in a blink of an eye with their bodies turned to ash and the wind carried it in who knows where.
"They are...weak."
As we continued, we only meet goblins but their numbers are getting greater than the last time.
"Burn."
"Die."
"Sleep for eternity."
In just 30 minutes, I slaughtered around thousands of goblin while weird-looking stones were inside their bodies.
"It has magic inside..."
Maybe I can sell these stones for currency in this world.

"Is that a goblin village?"
I didn't use my Divine Sense to locate monster villages so that this world will be at least challenging for me, and now, we are in front of a village with 2000 and more goblins are roaming.
They have tall wooden spiked walls and houses made by thatch.
"This will be a massacre but... The knowledge system gave me is these goblins tend to **** women and children... Be it, men or women, they eat, **** or making other women as breeders."
It seems like no other inhabitants are captured... Well then.
"Meteor..."
With a whisper, the sky began to darken while the temperature around us rose.
"Barrier."
I chanted a barrier to cover Masa. Kohaku can withstand the heat and impact but Masa is currently weak against my power. However, Masa is getting stronger at an outstanding rate because of the food I let her ate.

[Ludirus Kingdom]
Inside a castle hall, five figures were kneeling while facing in front of the king, queen, and two princesses.
"You are the hero and maidens of the kingdom! Chosen by God himself, we will nurture you and help all of you attain the power to defeat the enemy on the other side of our world! Lend us your strength, heroes!"
The figures that were kneeling were one man and four women. All of them are very attractive. They didn't face the king yet and paused until the king will be done with his speech.
As the king was about to continue his dialogue, the ground suddenly trembled as if the world is angry.
The castle hall went silent until they heard footsteps behind the large doors.
"Reporting to the king!"
A high-ranking soldier kneeled the moment he met the king.
"What is happening out there!" The king asked in a somewhat uneasy tone.
Thus, the soldier began to report on what our dear protagonist has done.

"Wew..."
I whistled at the destruction I have caused, I was only using 5% of my magic power though... Well, I should be careful and adjusts my power in the future.
"Thankfully, the magic stones I get from killing monsters automatically entered my Inventory ring."
I sighed in relief, even in this world currency is needed so I shouldn't waste a single magic stone.
"We should move. We attracted a lot of attention with that impact."
I don't actually care about attracting attention because I wanted to be known in this world, however, I haven't had my share of fun yet, and sooner or later I will arrive at a village and just my appearance alone will be news to spread.
Yep, Not to brag about it but my appearance can be considered as perfection.
We resumed our short journey and decided to camp a little far from the destroyed goblin village.
"As expected..."
When the night covered the skies, the egg began to shake.
