Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Lisbeth
"Is this the place where I can exchange monster cores?"
I think this is the place where most people that I asked told me about exchanging monster cores for money. Surprisingly, one goblin monster core is equal to 1 silver coin and 1 silver coin is equal to 100 bronze coins.
Even though Goblin is a weak monster, you can earn so much just by killing one. Maybe that's the reason why most people decided to hunt because they earn more.
The building is not so big or small. It has the name Monster Core Exchange with a logo of two swords shaping an X with a shield behind it.
"That must be the counter."
I walked towards a table where a man in his early 30's was sitting with a bored expression.
"Excuse me, can I exchange the monster cores I got?"
"Oh? It's you? The rumored rich prince! We can do the transaction inside the room if the monster cores you got are a hundred and above."
His bored mood changed the moment he saw me.
"I have so many monster cores with me, lead the way, sir."
He led me inside a spacious room. I then aimed my palm on the center and placed all the monster cores I collected.
"Wait... You can use space magic?"
The man wasn't surprised by how many monster cores I placed. He was surprised by my Inventory ring. However, I can use space magic as well.
"Yes, I can use space magic," I answered honestly, there's no point in hiding about it.
"Young man, how old are you?"
"I'm 18 years old, sir."
"18 huh, and you can use space magic as well." The man muttered in deep thought. Maybe space magic is rare in this world.
The man then took a board like an item and waved it towards the monster cores. It's like a scanner or something.
"Wow... They are all fresh... How many days did pass when you get all of this."
"Around 2 days."
"Wait... Don't tell me. Nah, never mind." He was startled for a moment but then waved his hands.
"Here, this is 2000 silver coins. Come back again if you have time."
"I'll surely do."

I think we are all done here. It's time to see what a kingdom is like. Should I apply as an adventurer and raise my rank as fast as possible to get famous? Well, I maybe can do that, I want to play it slow but not that slow.
Before I left the village, I went to the guard and paid 5 silver coins as a tip for allowing me to enter early on without paying.
Then, I crossed the bridge, and even though I'm still very far, I can already see the kingdom walls.
Our journey went smooth and it only took us 6 hours to reach the Ludirus territory.
"Masa, Aki, and Kohaku. Remember what I told you okay? Do not attack the people who have I'll intentions at me, I'll take care of it okay?"
"Puhh..."
"Grrrr..."
"Hrmmm..."

"That must be the area where merchants need to line up, lead the way Kohaku."
Many carriages were lining up at the far right gate. They have different types of carriages and different types of mounts. But still, Alex's carriage took the attention of the most.
"A big shot?" One of the merchants muttered.
Alex waited for almost half an hour before he finally entered the gates. He only has to pay 100 silver coins as an entrance fee for merchants that is new to the kingdom.
Alex said his thanks when he received a paper as proof that he is a merchant from somewhere. They respect people's privacy and this is a good thing for Alex as they don't need to interrogate where he came from.
"Now then, let's look for a place to stay then proceed to this so-called Adventurers Guild."
Inside the capital, rumors about a prince from another country spread like fire. Despite Alex just arrive this day, rumors already reached the castle.
Meanwhile, our protagonist finally found a good place to stay.
[Relaxing Woodland Inn]
"What a weird Inn name..."
Alex took so much time in looking for an Inn because most Inn doesn't accept pets however, this Inn has a forest-like structure and it's the biggest Inn he finds so far.
"Welcome to the Relaxing Woodland Inn!"
As he opened the door, a cheery girl spoke the name of the Inn.
She is a very pretty girl of average height who is very attractive and likewise is adored by many adventurers for her exceptional beauty with chest-length blonde hair that she allows her long hair to flow down her back where there are a pair of X-shaped ornaments protruding from behind her ears with two large strands hanging over her shoulders that gently frame her delicate features while she has bangs swept to the right side, pink eyes, large breasts, and a slender figure.
The moment she saw Alex's figure she was in a daze for a moment but as a professional, she did a fake cough and smiled at him again.
There were tables around with many adventurers chatting and having fun with their friends but his presence causes the atmosphere to be silent.
"Che... A flower boy." A young adventurer muttered, affected by the handsome young man that suddenly appeared.
Alex didn't mind the different kinds of gazes such as envy, adoration, love-struck, and more.
The Inn door was huge, giving space for Kohaku, Masa, and Aki to enter, resulting in the adventurers gasped with shocked expressions.
"He must be a powerful tamer!"
"He's not to be messed up with!"
"Lower your heads, idiots! I can't feel his level!"
Alex went to the counter and spoke with a relaxed smile.
"Can I get a room? If there is still a big room available that my pets can fit, then it's better."
"Yes... A room in your preference is still available sir. It will cost 5 silver per day."
"That's good. May I ask this gorgeous girl her name?"
"Ahh? My name? ahh yes... My name is Lisbeth." Lisbeth answered with her face flustered.
"Okay, Lisbeth, I'm Alex." Alex raised his hand for a shake.
Even having a dazed expression with her hands still shaking, Lisbeth took his hand for a handshake.
"We will be acquaintances from now. I hope you'll take care of me as I'm staying here at the moment."
Alex was also a human and it's impossible for him to not get attracted by a beauty in front of him.
