12 years later, Mable is 18years old. Tony has already completed his senior education and is in college in another town. On a Saturday morning, Mira to go to the market and I want Mable to come with me"
Aunt Mirabel calls to Mable who then comes downstairs, "Mable! Mira is here come down quickly"
Mable quickly comes downstairs, greets the family and hurries to go to the market with Mira. Salma tries to stop Mable so she could have breakfast but Mable insists she will have breakfast when she returns from the market.
On their way to the market, Mira asks Mabel what she thought of the plan,"what did you think of my plan,warrior? now everyone thinks you are escorting me when am actually the one escorting you "
Mable smiles at Mira, "of course you are a very good friend thanks a lot"
As the girls are walking, they meet Kel who joins them,"hello you guys I've been waiting for you for a long time let's get going "
The friends reach the market and they go to a shopping stand with a woman selling necklaces. They start to choose a perfect one. The lady selling the jewelry asks them why they are been selective and who it is for, "kids why are you been so selective, who are you buying it for?"
Kel answers the lady,"the necklace we are looking for is for our friends mom its her birthday today, do you mind helping us?"
The lady selling the jewelry brings out a beautiful necklace, "look here kids I found a beautiful necklace that I think your mom might like"
When Mable looks at the necklace, she is overwhelmed, "wow madam,this necklace is beautiful and I think it would look nice on her pack it for me"
When the kids come back from the market they find aunt Mirabel making a cake, she then enlists their help to keep Salma away from the kitchen, "welcome back children, am making a cake for Salma and I need your help to keep her away from the kitchen"
The kids agree to so and they keep her busy all day until the surprise party is finally ready. In the evening, the kids blind fold Salma and take her to the balcony. They then remove the blindfold and surprise her with a surprise party, she cuts the cake and feeds the whole family including Mable's friends. Riswan gives Salma his wishes and gives her a pair of earings. Tony sends a parcel to the house containing new slippers as a gift to Salma. Mable steps away for a minute and when she comes back she brings with her with her the necklace she bought for her mother and hands it her,"happy happy birthday mom I love you so much you always stand by me and support me in everything"
Salma is surprised to see such an expensive gift and she questions Mable, "my goodness where did you get such an amount of money to buy me an expensive gift?"
Mable then explains to her mother how she got the money, my friends and I run some errands for people so we earned some money"
Salma is then overwhelmed by this, "am so proud of you. Taking responsibility at such a young age"
Riswan then also congratulates Mable and she feels happy.
