Earth. Early 21st Century.
The world lives in the most developed time humanity has ever seen. People can travel the world, message other people at the other side of the globe in seconds or watch games on their computer. The world is even so technological advanced, humanity could destroy themselve in matter of seconds.
But few people think that supernatural things like magic or higher energies are real. Dragons, wizards, immortals, gods, superheroes, qi or any other supernatural event or beings are deemed fake, not real. And these that believe or seek after them are mocked.
Till one day everything changed.
"Mortals, Humans, Animals and all beings on planet Earth. We planted you million of years ago and now it is time to reap you. The energy of Heaven and Earth will welcome you again, you will be able to cultivate and seek longelivity and power. In thousand years I come again an will take away these, that I deem worthy."
Then the majestic voice that every living being on the planet heard vanished. But not completely, it was engraved in everyones mind thereby to remember when they want. It was engraved in the laws of the planet thereby that every newborn being will hear this voice.
With this engraved voice, two things came with. Firstly, a timer of thousand years, that the beings on the planet instinctively know. Secondly, a cultivation method for absorbing and using the energy of Heaven and Earth.

Slowly and slowly the planet called Earth changed.
Humans got stronger, had longer lives and one of the oldest addiction of humans was developed to the extreme, geer. At first humans could shatter rocks with their fist, then buildings, after that the strongest humans could fight armys and with luck surviving a nuclear bomb. Later their powers rivaled these bombs and through the infighting the human civilization collapsed. Independent cities under powerful human rulers formed.
But not only humans evolved. Animals gained intelligence, plants gained conscious so that they also could cultivate . What´s happened with humans, now also happened with animals and plants, but in an other way. They got stronger and stronger and slowly the different species didn´t played a great role anymore. Strong animals and plants ruled over weakers, often even from different races and species. Different species breeded together and new races or new mutations appeared.
Some powerful animals or plants decided to take a human form and through the interactions with humans, hybrids appeared. Half-Human Half-Animal; Half-Human Half-Plant; Half-Animal Half-Plant or even all three races together. Animals or plants that cultivate are called beast and humans that cultivate are still called humans. But these that do not cultivate are called mortal beasts and mortal humans.

Centuries have passed and only dozen of beings lived since the old era, the Golden Technologie Era. The new era has taken fully over and is called, Chaos Ascending Era.
Now around 700 hundred years later, in a deep forest, a little wooden house exist. In this house a new being was recently borned with the name Evan.
On his head are 'Devouring Antlers' and on his back are 'Purifying Wings'.
