Chapter 2: Jack level 8

"A little early for your beating, but hey! Who am I to complain?" Yells Jack from the side of the blacksmith forge.

I swallow air to try and get my breathing back to normal.

Never talk to Jack. It only fuels his anger, or whatever gives him the energy to do this every day.

I turn around and walk to the woods, silently.

"Don't walk away from me!" Yells Jack, shooting two more blasts at me. Both missing me by a few meters.

I begin to run now. I don't want to get hit by Jack. Though it isn't fatal in any way it still hurts.

Jack is a level eight fighter class. Specifically, he shoots light blasts.

He fires more blasts at me, all misses.

Rock after rock. Jack was chasing me know, I could tell. I jumped over a rock and ran a few steps before sliding under a fallen tree.

I had ran this path many times before.

The mud from my sliding under the trunk could be washed out of my pants and tank top.

Today I had worn an orange tank top and dark green sweat pants. Bad choice for hiding, but I did love this too.

I ran right past a yellow piece of paper taped to a tree. Crap! This was sentry area.

On cue a black shadow crossed the corner of my vision.

"Sentry," I managed to gasp out.
