Chapter 38: Chapter 38
Crion had a confused look on her face. It was understandable since she only met several humans and those humans had their own sets of human standards.
"What do you mean by that?" She asked.
"Exactly as it is," Dan replied with a smile "I am have committed mass murder, theft, high treason, elf trafficking, selling of illegal substances in a school, assault on royalty, cannibalism, torture of royalty, truancy and that is just the top of the cream."
Crion was surprised at this. Just from these last few minutes, to her it seemed like Dan was a sensible and not a criminal. In fact the reason why she decided to go with him was because she had nothing better to do. Literally nothing to do. In fact she was just waiting for death to arrive for and it seemed like it was coming until Dan fed her.
"Cannabilsm, I've done that too, the taste wasn't nice, did you enjoy it?"
"Yes, actually I did. I used to eat human meat a lot without knowing that it was human meat. It tasted pretty well when cooked properly. Even after finding out it was human meat I didn't stop eating, I just stopped eating it as much but then I substituted to elf, those fucking bastards."
Dan had just finished his rant when he heard the noise from the people in the caravan. Dan stepped out into the light of the campfire.
Pedro was sitting next to the two brothers eating his food on a table made using earth magic. The two brothers were reading a book together.
Dan walked over to them and made himself, Crion and Kan a chair made of clay. The earth on the ground rose into the air and clumped together changing its shape until there was a chair. This process took less than a second.
He sat down on a chair and Crion sat on his left and Kan jumped onto the chair to his right.
Pedro looked up to see who it was that sat down. "I thought that you were going hunting or something, you only took ten minutes."
"That does not concern you fat prick!" Dan said.
"I'm not fat, I'm slimmer than you are."
"Keep telling yourself that and maybe the weight on your hips will go away."
"My hips are 74cm, yours are 82 big difference," Pedro cut into the steak that he was eating and finally his eye landed on Crion.
"Who is that?" he asked.
"This is my new friend. Introduce yourself." Dan said to Crion.
Crion stood up and curtsied using the oversized hoodie which surprised Dan and Pedro who were not expecting it.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, I am Crion an ascroligian, Dante invited me to join him in his adventure and I accepted."
Pedro tapped his steak with his knife as he looked at Crion and Dan. Dan seemed to be proud of himself.
"Ever since when did we become a nursery for children?" he asked. He spoke in demonic language so that only Dan understood him.
"What do you mean by nursery Crion is well over a century old. She is six to seven times older than you and I."
"Dante, you are really dumb, why are you taking all these people in, we were supposed to be low key and silent so as to not draw any attention to ourselves."
"We'll I dont think that your father or Kliran can see us from all the way back home just because we have a few comrades. Crion is a friend."
"Why are you so ignorantly stubborn for no reason? Arguing with you is like arguing with a brick wall, even if I bring nothing but facts to you, you argue for the sake of arguing. Point being is that she has got to go."
Pedro's voice was become louder and louder by the second. A few people looked over at them by after Dan insulted them they went back to whatever they were doing.
"Crion is a friend and she is staying with us no matter what you say." Dan said.
Pedro banged his hand on the table in a fit of rage. "Your taking care of her,"
"I really don't see the problem." Dan replied.
Pedro started mumbling under his breath. "Made me...lose...appetite."
"Then give it over, I'm starving!" Dan said as he reached for the steak.
"I suddenly regained my appetite."

Dan had fallen asleep quite a while ago. Besides sleeping for most of the day he felt sleepy beyond measure.
He made a small cave using earth magic. It was only one metre tall but it had space for a few people.
Kan was sleeping peacefully on top of Dan who was having trouble breathing.
Crion did not fall asleep. She just sat outside on the table from earlier. She didn't really need that much sleep. She had been asleep for a few days due to her hunger and exhaustion of being chased around.
She just sat there looking at the crackling fire and all the people sleeping.
A person sat down in front of Crion in the seat next to her. It was a man, a middle aged man with a balding head and broken glasses.
He was slightly overweight and was breathing heavily.
He stared at Crion who was did not bother to look at him. "Hey little girl, you seem lonely!"
Crion without even turning around just replied.
"It's not my first time,"
"It may not be your first time but how about I keep you company,"
"I do not mind at all," Crion said.
They sat in silence for a while until the old man got closer to her. He put his face near her hair and sniffed her. He took one long sniff and let out a content 'aaaaaah'.
Crion turned to the man who was sitting next to her. "Can you stop that please? I don't like it and I find it annoying."
The man nodded his head and agreed several times. After what seemed like a minute he touched her hair, he put her long hair on his face and rubbed it on his cheeks. Crion stood up and walked away. She did not want to deal with someone like him at all.
She walked away and climbed a tree that was averagely tall. She sat on the branch and just enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. As she looked at the old man who had been sitting behind her she was shocked to see what he was doing.
He was on his knees smelling the earthen chair. His face was red with glee. Drool came out of his mouth as he licked the chair.
Crion remained on the tree until it was sunset. The old man sat on her chair it reached morning.

Dan jumped up from the floor as he breathed heavily. Kan had been sleeping on top of him so it was hard for him to breathe. Kan growled at Dan as he had just been sleeping peacefully and the next minute he was thrown away like a rag.
Kan flashed his teeth at Dan and barked at him ferociously.
Dan held Kan at an arms length preventing him from being bit.
He walked outside of the small cave he had made for himself and Kan. Pedro and the two brothers had slept inside the carriage since Pedro did not like sleeping outdoors or anywhere he considered unsanitary, so it was no surprise that he slept inside the luxurious sleeping compartments of the carriage. Only a small number of people, approximately 20 had decided to sleep outside.
Dan looked at the ashes of the campfire that had long died out. People were still asleep as it was early morning. Judging from the sun it was around 6 to 7.
People were asleep tucked away in their sleeping mats. Dan noticed a man sitting at the table from last night and Crion not anywhere.
The man was sleeping his head on the table. He walked up to and gently shook him awake.
The man was really groggy and could when he opened his eyes it took him a few moments to register what was happening.
"Hey, where is the girl?" Dan asked.
"What...who...what girl?" The man replied.
"The small pink haired girl with the oversized hoodie." Dan said.
Just as the man was about to answer Dan heard a voice from behind him. "I'm here."
Dan turned around to see Crion. She looked the same as yesterday. Not a single thing was different. Even her hair was the same, every strand was just like yesterday. Her uninterested face was no different from.
"Is there something that you needed?" she asked.
"No, I was checking because I didn't see you, I'm going out hunting with the two brothers."
"Do you mind if I come along?" she asked.
"Why?"
"Because I do not know how to hunt, I used to set up a trap and wait for my prey to enter it but they became smarter and started avoiding my traps hence the reason why I was starving."
Dan yawned loudly as he stretched his arms behind his back.
"Sure, I'll just get the two kids."
