Chapter 2: The Ball Game
A few hours later....
My Father and I was sitting side by side outside on the steps with the starry night sky above us on this moon lit night. The air was neither too hot nor too cold it just right the perfect weather to just enjoy the night. The slight rustling of the leaves caused by the slight breeze every now and then. The sound of crickets creating a symphony of sounds it was all around a nice night to talk.
"Drake I'm about to tell you a story of how we defended a planet from an attack, I'm sure you'll like it Drake."
"I'm sure I will to dad I'm sure it'll be just as great as all of the others you've told me."
"We were on a planet with gigantic mountains that would overlook everything below it for miles and miles allowing you to see the houses and people down below luscious plant life grew all about, streams of crystal clear water flowed through many places. It was all so serene the weather was mostly just perfect never too hot nor too cold. But then an Armada came sending drop ships all over the planet and then robots came out and began massacreing the locals but then me and my squad came in and started destroying the robots as well as saving a many people as possible. We ripped out their wiring, crushed their heads, and even disarmed some for the potential to reverse engineer some of them for the defense of the planet. Sadly we couldn't since they would self destruct afterwards in attempt to further cause damage and harm. We managed to repel the attack with ease and then we started destroying some of the ships within the fleet. We flew through their engine rooms damaging their power sources and exiting out the other end causing the ships to explode. Which caused the ships to hastily retreat. And the planet was safe after that and hasn't been attacked since to my knowledge."
"That's awesome dad I wish I could've seen it, I bet it looked so cool. Hopefully I can do something like that one day."
"It was pretty awesome, it made for a amazing light show. But I promise you Drake one day you can do something like that we can even do it together."
"Really! that would be amazing, I'd like it so much if we did something like that."
"We really will, and I bet you would like it Drake, I can't wait to do things like it would be great for father son bonding time. Just you, Mark, and I together fighting off our enemies together it will be great."
"It would be so great dad, I hope we can."
"Of course we can you'll just have to wait, at any rate I think it's your bed time Drake, go get some rest we can talk more tomorrow."
"Ok Dad I will."
The boy spoke out as he opened the door hurriedly and then ran up the stairs.

A week later.....
The pitcher through the ball once Mark swung to early and missed the ball.
"Strrrrrrike one!"
The pitcher then sent out a wild curve ball, Mark swung when he shouldn't have and missed again.
"Strrrrrrike two! one more strike and your out!"
This time the pitcher threw a knuckle ball mark swung just right this time perfect hitting the ball causing it to rocket away over the fence.
I watched as my father smiled at mark when he hit a home run and began to cheer like mom and I have been. The crowd was going wild as Mark passed each diamond he won the game for his team.
"Mark!Mark!Mark!"
The team chanted out in joy.
The coach came up to mark and shook his hand congratulating him and telling him how well he did.
I was overjoyed for my brother everyone was when Mark finally came over to us we all gave him a hug.
"You did amazing Mark."
"I'm so proud of you my little Marky, you did great today and your dad feels the same way right Noland?"
"Yes like your mother said I am proud of you, you did an amazing job winning the game for your team Mark."
"Thank you mom, dad, and Drake I'm glad you all watched my game. I can't wait until my next one hopefully I can earn us more points like today."
"I'm sure you will Marky."
And then mom, dad, mark and I got in the car and drive to a Chinese restaurant for dinner to celebrate. Because Mark likes chinese food quite a bit.
A few hours later
Me and my brother were lying in our beds slowly drifting off to sleep.
