Chapter 4: Journey Through The Woods

Tati and Justin walked deeper into the woods until they heard the sound of water. "Almost there", said Tati. Tati and Justin had a secret hideout near the water that they had discovered when they were younger and still often go to. There was an abandoned small cabin by the water and just a few trees back was a watch tower. From the watch tower you can see the cabin, over the river, and slightly over the mountains. The cabin was empty but it had a few items that they had stored there overtime, even the watch tower had a few supplies. When they first discovered the cabin Tati had thought it was the previous owners and tried to get her dad to fix it but he was always too busy with work. Once they reached the front door of the cabin, Tati tied her balloons to the railing. "Hey let's go by the river" said Justin. "Okay … last one there is a rotten egg" said Tati as she ran towards the river, Justin running after her.

"Caught you" said Justin, grabbing Tati by her waist.

"No fair, I already made it to the bank before you" giggled Tati.

Justin span her in a circle when they heard a bang.

"What was that?" Said Tati

"I have no idea" responded Justin

Just then the sky flashed bright blue.
