Chapter 62: Too Calm For the Situation
He only wanted to scare her a little. He didn't think she would have a mental breakdown instead. She pressed herself to the ground, sobbing and rubbing her nose against the floor as she pleaded for him to save her.
She had sucked out all his fun. He stood up and scrubbed his face with his palms. "Damn it. Your voice is worse than nails on a board."
She stopped and looked at him in despair. In her mind, if she cried and irritated him, her punishment would be worse.
"You're no fun. I'll go check up on my Anna now. Let's finish our business quickly." He looked down at her, his eyes glowing, sending her into a trance.
