The ruined skyscrapers clad the forested landscape alongside the dirt trail. "Yo Toka what time is it?" Link asks.
"Thirty minutes past seven so we have about thirty minutes until we get to the village.
Swoosh swoosh
"Take cover it's a dragon!" Link wars his two partners.
As the dragon flies by they see a what looks to be a young woman on its back with the lightest blue hair.
"The dragon rider is going toward the village we're heading to," Link points out
Thirty minutes of walking later...
The village was quiet and peaceful as they walked in with the sun setting in the background.
"Where are all of the goblins?" George asked what they were all thinking.
"Halt, state your reason for being here," a voice demanded from behind them.
"You're the dragon rider, aren't you?" The three adventures ask.
"Well yes but I'd prefer to be called Rimuru."
"We're her to slay some goblins, Ms Rimuru" answered Link.
"Im not a he or a she I'm a Slime." Rimuru said as he took the shape of an oddly expressive blue ball; "and there is no need for you to kill any goblins they're good guys I'm sorry you had to come all this way for nothing, but you should probably stay here for the night it's a dangerous in the wilderness at night."
"Actually that sounds pretty good, I'm actually really exhausted despite how I may look," Link replies; "and where are my manners I'm link, the guy over there is George and the hot one next to me is Toka."
!!!Bonk!!!
Toka hit Link on the back of the head with the butt of her katana with an embarrassed look on her face.
"Say that again I dare you!" Toka remarked.
"Gobta take these three to the inn," Rimuru ordered
And short Goblin came running.
"Right this way," said Gobta.
"I'll meet you at the the tavern in an hour to discuss an alliance with your village," Rimuru said to the newbie adventuring party.
One hour later...
"Hello Rimuru," Toka said as they sat down at the table with the slime in human form.
