Chapter 2: I like school
Next morning
I was awoken by the cold water that hit my face and body I opened my eyes to see my birth giver 'get up your lazy pig the breakfast is not going to prepare itself ' she said and left my room before i could even answer her. I went to the bathroom and quickly striped out of my old baggy wet clothes and started showering the water was very cold I was not allowed to use any hot or warm water because my mother said I didn't deserve it that cold shower did not help my injuries. after that cold shower i put on some of my old clothes and went downstairs only to see my parents making out, I wanted to vomit but I didn't have any food in my body to vomit, I ignored them and entered the kitchen and started making breakfast it smelled so good, but I couldn't have any because if I did that will be extra beatings. 'it's my breakfast ready' my so-called father asked after he was done making out with my mother. 'Yes, it's done ' I immediately put the food on the table and hurried upstairs to get ready for school.
later at school
I was doing some last-minute revision with Marriana one of my friends when we heard 'morning people' I turn around to see who it was Liz my best friend she was energetic as ever Liz was the typical blonde curly hair with aqua eyes people who doesn't know her would think that she's one of those mean rich girls in tv but she was really nice unless you get on her bad side 'I really need to meet that person who invented school what was the person thinking?' she asked angry for the 60th time this week 'probably helping people gain knowledge and understand of our environment,' I replied to her for the 60th time this week. But I only a are 'you are kidding me 'look from her. That's why you are known as the school nerd said Sarah our other friend, I'm not a nerd, I just like school now they were all looking at me as if I grew an extra head Ari you are my best friend but sometimes, I feel like I don't know you. School is the only place i can be free from abuse, but I can't say that. if someone finds out am being abused, my stepdad is going to make us move again and i don't want to move again.
