Chapter 4: Training with Tobirama (2/2)

Tobirama was certainly surprised as he saw his grand-nephew use the method flawlessly at his first try.
This alone was enough for Tobirama to teach his grand-nephew some jutsu but decided to hold off for some time.
"Good. Stop"
Tobirama quickly became stoic again. To make sure Arata did not become arrogant.
Arata stooped, "So what now?"
"Tree climbing and water walking"
Arata had stars in his eyes as he looked at Tobirama climbing the tree, He knew that they could do it but still seeing it in real life was different.
"How can I do it?"
Tobirama explained the basics to Arata and he performed it flawlessly.
'Well he is a bigger genius that me and big-brother'
Tobirama taught Arata other basic things and just like a sponge he absorbed everything.
"Well good, let's check your chakra affinity"
"Chakra affinity?", Arata replied acting a bit confused.
"Your combability with jutsu depends on your chakra affinity. As you know there are five elements: Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth and Water"
Arata nodded, Tobirama took out a piece of paper from his pocket.
"This is called chakra paper, You have to insert a bit of your chakra into it and the result will depend on your chakra affinity. If you have fire paper will burn, of you have wind paper will split into two, If you have lightning people will crinkle, If you have earth the paper will turn into dirt and crumble away and if you have water the paper will become wet"
Tobirama showed a example as the paper he was holding became wet.
"So you have water?"
Tobirama nodded and gave a paper to Arata.
He inserted his chakra into it and the paper became wet with also being cut into two.
Tobirama smirked, "Two elements"
"I have affinity towards two elements?"
Tobirama nodded.
"Wow", Arata commented.
Arata suddenly feeling proud of himself but Tobirama said, "It's nothing special"
"You don't have it though"
Tobirama chuckled and took out a piece of paper.
"What?", Arata questioned. Tobirama did not say anything and inserted his chakra.
To Arata's surprise The paper suddenly burned, got cut into two, crinkled and part of it turned into mud.
"What? How?"
"My affinity with water is so great that even though I have above average affinity with other elements It does not show"
That day again proved, how much of a monster was Tobirama.
