Lucas felt as if he had been reborn. He felt as if he was high as he made love with Ruby over and over again. He'd never felt that good, so he had to rule out the time he was kidnapped by those men.

The two lovebirds fought until their stomachs growled, indicating that it was time to eat. Luas had never cooked before, so Ruby was assigned the task; after all, she was the one who brought them here.

Ruby smiled as she dragged her battered body out of bed. How can she still be sane after being tossed around for hours? She went to the bathroom naked and washed herself with warm water. She only felt better after that.

She changed her clothes and went downstairs to start preparing dinner. Ruby had grown up doing manual labor, so cooking was second nature to her.
