Chapter 1: Ch.1: Surprise

<p>Walking through the dark, musty alleyway, is a young adult draped in a almost abyssal black cloak, almost seamlessly blending into the shadows that are cast by the dim lights on either side of the narrow passageway.<br/><br/>Slinking along making almost no noise, dodging like a agile cat all the knocked over trashbags and broken pieces of wood, the young adults face shrouded in moving darkness, eyes transfixed on the target in his sights, a middle aged man with salt and pepper hair parted down the middle, cropped on the sides, giving the man an almost tryhard look of someone trying to look young.<br/><br/>The man saunters round the corner back onto the street with a smile on his face and a gleam in his eye, not focusing on anything but the bliss he feels deep in his chest after his earlier activity, the man wipes small traces of blood from his knuckles onto his red gym sweatpants, hiding the evidence of the beating he just gave his victim back in the alley, the only sign is the slightly red marks left behind that you wouldn't notice unless taking a real close inspection which no-one in the right mind would to for fear of getting on his bad side.<br/><br/>The man was known as Johnathan Blake, the mob boss of the town known as GleamHill, Johnathan was just done taking care of some insubordination from a local shopkeep who was refusing to pay his protection racket, beating the shopkeep to an inch of his life, and leaving him unconscious in the alley, broken and bleeding out behind a dumpster.<br/><br/>Johnathan was trotting down and was just about to enter a quiet closed bar when he was knocked flying with a weight that was thrown into his shoulder blade's, crashing into a nearby streetlight, causing it to turn off and plunge that section to be inveloped in dim light, apon landing on all fours, wincing in pain, Johnathan looks up, pain evident on his face along with anger scanning his surroundings, looking for who has the balls to cause him pain, vowing to make the bastard suffer, he spots a cloaked figure standing just on the edge of the darkness looking down at the crouched man with what looked like a smirk only revealed by the light above them.</p>
