Chapter 13: Chapter Thirteen: New Goal Keeper
"Why all of a sudden?" said Simon
15 minutes break. They just sat on the grass on the soccer field. Everyone was sweating and their clothes were filthy. Some students watch their practice earlier and now they multiply as if the team were competing.
"You know that all university athletes undergo a medical examination every year. " Charles replied.
"I drank last night," said Simon, troubled.
"Buko juice works effectively. Medical test later today so you can still pee on the beer. " Karl said he was laughing.
"You Dark? Are you ready for the med exam? " Loel asked
"Dark is always ready, right dude?" Bryan asked
Dark turned to them. One of his teammates was blurry in his vision. He realised Dark was staring at him.
"Damn, Dark, why are you staring at me like that?" Blake said.
Blake was nervous when Dark stared at him as if Dark could see his soul. He has goosebumps.
"Give up on her. Don't leave the house later, or you're just going to be doomed." Dark said all of a sudden.
They laughed. "What's that supposed to mean, Dark? Will that girl's boyfriend catches them? " Quantum asked laughing
"It's bound to happen," said Dark. "Blake will be taken into hospital."
"You look serious Dark, but I know you're just kidding. We can't be caught, Trishia's boyfriend is on the ship." Said, Blake
Dark drank water while the crew teased Blake. Dark knows that it will happen one of these days, he warned him, it's up to Blake to decide whether he will listen to Dark or not. From Dark's seat, he saw the woman walking with the other. Dark furrowed, the woman's face was familiar, but he could not remember where he had seen her.
Krum was standing across from Dark. "Dude, do you think Francis can be a goalkeeper?" Krum whispered.
Dark looked slightly upon Francis. He was standing as he stared at the net goal. Francis is a big guy, but he's new to soccer.
I'm not sure what the coach's plan is, but I think he's a weak player. He can't afford to be the goalkeeper. " Krum added
"He still needs to practice and learn how to play soccer. He's the one who replaced Jahmar.? " Dark asked
Krum shrugged. "Jahmar's position is the toughest for us and he's been our best goalkeeper since our first year."
Dark never said a word. All 10 of them were trained in their respective positions, and since Jahmar is gone, the position that he left the goalkeeper is vacant. That's the toughest position in soccer. Thankfully, Dark is their striker.

"The soccer team is practising, Liz!" said Lindsey.
Elize turned towards the soccer field. Everyone on this team is there. They seem to be taking a break because they're sitting on the grass.
"There's Dark, Liz, you saw him.? He's sitting on the bench." Said Lindsey.
Elize turned and saw a man standing before the man seated on the bench.
"I haven't seen him, sorry," said Elize.
Lindsey furrowed. "Why is that? Whenever you see Dark or Lucian, they always turn around or something gets in the way."
Elize laughed." All right, there's still a chance."
They went on walking when Elize saw a familiar face in the distance. He's on his way to the soccer team.
'Geez, I thought he was East. Impossible, that's impossible, he is not East. ' Elize thought
As Lindsey and Elize approached the soccer team, her eyes expanded as the man turned toward her and blinked.
'East?'

Smiling, East answered the call. Far off, he noticed Elize so he looked at her and winked at her.
"Liz, you look great when you wear that. I'm even more in love with you." East said he looked at Elize just outside the soccer field net.
"What is your business here? Is there an assignment?" asked Elize with a frown.
Smiling, East replied. "Yes, I have a mission."
"What mission?" Elize asked
"Let's go to dinner later, bring your friend." Says East.
Then East turned off his phone. Elize never believed that. East's got an assignment she doesn't know about.
"Is that East, Liz?" asked Lindsey.
"Yes," Elize says not looking at Lindsey has focused her eyes on East
"Oh my goodness!" Lindsey silent scream
Elize turned to Lindsey. "Girl, he's handsome," said Lindsey, clasping Elize's arm.
"Lindsey, not him please!" Said Elize
"Are you serious? There's nothing to be jealous about. He's just my crush." Said, Lindsey
"I'm not jealous," Elize said once walkout
"Hey wait a minute." Said, Lindsey

During this time, the basketball team was walking along the walkway when they also noticed the soccer team. They seem to have just finished training and now resting.
"Their team has a newly recruited goalkeeper in place of Jahmar," said Andrew.
"They're going to have a tough time finding a replacement for Jahmar. He is a good goalkeeper." Said Mikel.
Lucian noticed Elize just outside the fence of the soccer field. She is looking for someone there.
'Why is she there? ' thought Lucian.
"They wanted our medical on Monday because they know the players are enjoying the weekend," Josh said.
"Why? Were you out last night?" said Kris.
"Yes, I even saw Simon from the soccer team in the bar last night." Said Josh.
"You should avoid drinking in the 2nd week of this month. You have to get ready for Coach," said Andrew, laughing.
Josh scratched his head. "I had a great time last night, but today is annoying!"
"You Lucian, how is your back?" What happened there?" said Klaus.
"It's all right now, I suppose." Lucian just said.
He turned back to where Elize was and she walked away while her friend who was always with her followed her running.

After school, Elize noticed East outside their room, and she was surprised. Many architectures and engineering students surround East and he enjoys talking to women.
"Seriously, East is so handsome, are you sure he's not your boyfriend?" Lindsey asked.
"He's not my boyfriend," Elise said.
"Then he's mine," said Lindsey.
"What!" asked Elize with an eyebrow frown.
Lindsey came immediately towards East. He noticed her at once and bid farewell to the women. Smiling, the East approached Lindsey and took her on her shoulders and drew near to Elize.
"Lindsey, what are you doing?" Elize asked
"I did nothing," Lindsey said.
East laughed. "Why are you here?" Elize asked
"Your snout El ..." East was about to approach, but he noticed that one of Elize's eyebrows rose. "Alright, don't be jealous, honey!"
"Honey?" Lindsey asked in a frown.
"East, you have to stop, I'll hit you, and I'm dead serious," Elize said irritably.
East laughed. "Why are you such a grouch? Is today a red day?"
Elize approached the East and struck him in the face, but the man avoided her. She raised her fist and was going to hit East again, but East was surprised when Elize hit his knee.
"Aw! Are you serious about hurting me, El?" East complains. East caress his knee.
"I am no jester, East." You know me, which means your flattery won't work for me. And don't even touch Lindsey, you'll be accountable to me when you tamper with her." Elize said seriously
East scratched his head. "I won't do it unless she lets me," East told Lindsey with a wink.
"You are so full of shit!" Elize hit East head
East just laughed again. Lindsey was just watching the two.
"Are you truly just friends?" Lindsey suddenly asked.
Elize and East turned on Lindsey.

They've just finished soccer team practice. They bathe together in an extended shower room. Their coach introduced someone earlier to replace Jahmar's post.
"Is East, seems fine, what do you think Dark?" Krum asked.
"We'll find out as soon as he plays tomorrow." Said Dark
He is a transfer, will he follow us? Maybe later, he'll be nothing but a spy." Blake said
"Big imagination, Blake." Loel sad, laughing.
Dark had thought of the place where he had seen the woman's face before because she was familiar. Even East appeared to have seen him before.
"Team, our medical check-up has been cancelled. Dra. Arguile's got an emergency. Reschedule next week." The coach shouted
There are loud noises in the shower room.
"All right!" Everybody said except Dark.

From the student washroom, Trans and Auie went out holding hands together. There were a few students that saw them once they left cr wondering, but Trans and Auie ignored them.
"When it comes to the number of places we can go, why did we go to cr?" The complaint is Trans.
Auie laughed at Trans. He frowned and seemed greatly disappointed by what they had experienced.
"Are you laughing at me?" Trans asked with a frown
Auie didn't answer instead she turned her back on Trans and then chased the two female students.
"Hold on, young lady!" cried Auie.
Both students looked back and stopped walking.
"I'm sorry, I just want to ask if you know where Dark is?" Auie asked.
"Why?" she asked.
"Dark and I are friends. He sent us here with ...." Auie said
Auie couldn't finish what she is going to say when they turned their backs on Auie.
"How rude those women are!" Auie says frown. We shall meet again, you guessed it. I'll take you there, remember this," Auie shouted.
The two women turned to Auie and they laughed at her. She turned to Trans and noticed that he was talking to someone, then the student went away and Trans approached her.
"Dark seems to be in the locker, let's go?" Said, Trans
Trance was still holding Auie's hand. They walked together until they reached the locker room of the soccer team that the student had taught earlier.
"We'll wait for him here," said Trans.
"Ha? How does he know we're here? If you don't leave your phone behind. Go in! said Auie touching the door handle.
"Wait Auie ..." Trans said
The eyes of Auie widened when she opened the door and screamed aloud.
"Aaaaaahhhh!"
