Chapter 18: Chapter 4
*They head deeper and deeper into the forest; the trees get darker, and thicker as they go on. The forest starts getting denser and denser, then are suddenly blinded by the sun as they "exit" the forest*
Bear Oni: *Ok, we're here*
*The 4 stops, and examine their surroundings*
*It's a giant clearing, with various huts and wooden basic houses, scattered around. The tall trees have some kind of tree forts, connected by rope bridges. A black figure watches from above, on the bridge. Other various shapes with yellow eyes are watching as well. One pair leap over the bridge, and comes crashing down in front of them*
*It's a lizardman, and he points his spear to the group*
Reptilian Oni: *Who are these two?*
Yami: *Doesn't matter to you*
Reptilian Oni: *You speak our tongue! What are you? A superior Oni? Or a human?*
Yami: *That's on a need-to-know basis, so you do not need to know*
*The Oni stairs at him with skepticism*
Reptilian Oni: *Very well*
*He lowers his spear, and sheathes it onto his back*
Rep. Oni: *I see you've recovered the master; I thank you*
Kori: *You mean, MY, crystal?*
*He raises his spear again*
Rep. Oni: *What do you mean?!*
Kori: *We helped them get it back, this thing is naturally mine now, so say goodbye*
*Kori puts her hands on both ends of the crystal, and absorbs it, snapping it open like a pinata. A blue light emerges from it*
Rep. Oni: *What have you done!*
*Kori swallows the light, and a sort of, steam, made of snow flakes, emerges from her nose and mouth every time she takes a breath. After a minute of this, she exhales loudly through her mouth, letting a breath of pure frost mist escape from her mouth, and that's the end of it*

Kori: Just as I thought! Yami! I've acquired my first beast!
Yami: Nice!
Kori: *We just came to tell you to be careful in the future, otherwise, we'll wipe out the lot of you*
Rep. Oni: *Insolence! You will pay for your transgressions!*
*The lizardman thrusts his spear at her, and she moves her head slightly. She grabs the spear, and freezes it. The ice travels up the spear back to the wielder, and completely freezes him over. Nice ice sculpture honestly*
*Some more figures jump down from their bridges*
Other Lesser Oni: *KILL THEM!*
Bear Oni: *NO WAIT! STOP!*
Kori: *It seems we have a few more ready to die. I will fulfill your wish*
*Yami face palms*
*A wave of cold erupts from her body, quickly materializing into a spiked wall of ice*
*The more eager ones accidentally spear themselves onto her ice*
Oni: *AAGH*
Rep. Oni: They're magic users! Be careful!
Yami: Idiot!
*Yami raises his hand, and smacks the back of her head*
Kori: OW! WHAT'D YOU DO THAT FOR!
Yami: Because you did what you wanted! Now were stuck in a troublesome situation! Don't just make decisions by yourself!
*The ice crystals vaporize, and Yami quickly erects a small wall around the two, circling around them, and blocking off any sound from leaking out*
Kane: Um, what are they doing?
*They both start making exaggerated motions, while yelling at each other. Kori punches Yami*
Kunshu: Ugh, not again
Bear Oni: *Um, what are they doing?*
Kunshu: They're fighting, again
Kane: Wait, you can speak to them?! And why can I understand them?!
Kunshu: Because master has turned you essentially into an Oni, you're not human anymore
Bear Oni: *Um, do they do they often?*
*Yami and Kori are having an all-out brawl, WITHOUT magic. Without the sound, it actually looks quite funny*
Kunshu: Not really, but it happens. So, what you got to drink around here?
Bear Oni: *Ummm, we got tea?*
Kunshu: Oooh nice, may I bother you for some?
Bear Oni: *Certainly, this way*
*The bear leads the massive cobra to one of the bigger houses*
Kunshu: You coming Kane?
Kane: Uh, yeah, sure
*Kane quickly rushes to them as he looks back at the two*
*Yami is pulling Kori's hair, while Kori plants her foot into his stomach. They look fierce, like animals themselves*
Kane: Yeesh, I'm worried about the future
