Midnight announced the brackets:
Izuku Midoriya vs Hintoshi Shinso
Shoto Todoroki vs Hanta Sero
Ibara shiozaki vs Denki Kaminari
Tenya Ida vs Kenji skies
Mina Ashido vs Yuga Aoyama
Fumikage Tokoyami vs Momo Yoyorozu
Eijiro Kirishima vs Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu(pain)
Katsuki Bakugo vs Ochako Uraraka.
Yep. Everything's the same besides me being here. I look around and see all the other participants looking at their matchups. Momo seemed extremely nervous. Cant blame her tho. Tokoyami does have a powerful quirk. I walked up to her, pat her head, and said "He has a very obvious weakness. Darkness always gets defeated by the light." She looked up at me and smiled. I guess she understood what I meant.
Midnight then told everyone who was not fighting first to go sit down in the student section. Cementos then came out and built the arena. Before I left, I told izuku " You better not lose. We have to have a proper fight, you know." I then walked towards the exit and went to go sit in the student section.
Midnight then called Izuku and Shinso to the arena. She told them the rules before starting. They nodded in agreement. "3..2..1.. Start!" As soon as she said start, the match was over. Izuki hit shinso with an air cannon which blew him off the arena. He hit the wall and passed out. Midnight, who was surprised at how fast the fight ended said "I-Izuku Midoriya is the winner."
Everyone in the audience was taken back. They knew that izuku could do this but they did not expect him to end the fight so fast. It was to silent so I broke it. I started clapping and soon everyone followed my lead. Izuku walked out the arena and came to the student section. As he walked in, I said. "You could at least let him activate his quirk" "I know what his quirk does Kenji. I wasnt even going to allow him to provoke me" Was what izuku said back. I smirked and looked at the unconcious shinso getting carried out of the arena. Izuku went to go sit with uraraka who was behind me. He wanted to calm her down a little before her fight I guess. While that was happening, Shoto and Sero was called to the stage. I told Sero to keep his distance if he could. He smiled at me and gave a thumbs up.
I also told todoroki to calm down. He was still mad at what izuku said earlier. He snickered at this and left the room. I almost said some words that could end someones carier(literally)but I held back. Also for some reason, they were both sitting in the student section, instead of the waiting room. Meh. I dont really care.
Sero and todoroki arrived at the arena. Midnight told them them the rules and they nodded. If you listen closely, you could hear a certain someone yelling todorokis name. Just kidding. Im pretty sure dead people could hear his shouting.
Anyways midnight announced the start of the match. "3..2..1.. Start" As soon as she said start, Sero wrapped shotos whole body in tape. He looked like a mummy. Improvement from the anime i guess. Sero was about to swing him off the stage but todoroki did something that shocked the whole crowd. He used his fire. Man was it hot(lies). The tape instantly burned and bam. He froze Sero in a huge glacier.
Anger was all I felt. The tip of his iceberg hit yuri in the chest. It did not pierce her but she fell unconscious from shock. People were panicking, which made me feel slightly nervous. 'Did it actually hit her? Why the hell are heros getting flustered?' was all I could think.
I immediately rushed towards yuri. To others, it looked like it teleported (which I did). I arrived next to Lily who had a scared look in her eyes. It almost hit her aswell. Dave was one the left side of lily while yuri was on the right. Lily was in the middle. I broke the ice with my bare hands which attracted a lot of attention but I didnt care. I Picked up yuri in a princess carry. I casted illusion magic on her so she would dream peacefully. I rocked her like a sleeping baby and waited for her to wake up. She woke up with a scared yet happy look on her face. I patted her head and said it was ok. She nodded and said "Thanks for coming to my rescue big brother" I smiled, gave her to Lily and left.
I went back towards the student section with a glare in my eye. I came in and sat down. Everyone was staring at me but I payed it no mind. I was starring at the confused todoroki. "Izuku, do me a favor" I said to izuku, with a 'You better not refuse' face. "W-What is it?" said izuku with a gulp. "Dont finish him in one move. Make him feel pain and scared." was all I said before I got up. "Denki. Dont underestimate your opponent because she's a girl" was all unsaid befor I left. I didnt hear what izuku or denki said before I went to the bathroom.
